In the novel “Forced Love”, the female supporting character Huo Wu was a fake princess who had occupied someone else’s position for 18 years.

And everything she possessed should have belonged to the female lead.

After an accident, Huo Wu’s real identity was completely exposed.

She and the female lead returned to their respective places but she was still regarded by the female lead as a nail in her eye and a thorn in her flesh and ultimately came to a miserable end.

After Huo Wu, a small 18th line celebrity transmigrated into the character of the same name in the book, she shivered.

The female lead’s fighting abilities are too strong, she really can’t afford to offend her.

In order to avoid the ending in the book, she held on tightly to her “brother’s” thigh in order to seek protection.

His golden thighs were exceptionally strong and this top rated “brother” was powerful to the point where there was nothing he couldn’t do.

But…

How come she isn’t allowed to let go after holding onto him?

Okay, I really liked this story but the MC is irritating to me.

Especially her interaction with Mo Ze, girl if you don't like the guy block him, don't interact, if he threatening to harass you even further don't fking comply! Tell you older brother whom you've already said a million times is someone this guy (Mo Ze) is wary of. The scenes between the MC and the OML is so annoying like the author is forcing something that we all know the author will never allow to happen.

First things first, I want to say that my review is entirely based on my personal opinion; I’m not trying to be objective at all. If this story appeals to you, read it first before making your own judgement. What I find “meh” could be received differently for you.

With that being said, I won’t beat around the bush. It’s not the best story out there. In all honesty, this story really had a lot of potential in the beginning, but it really missed the mark as it got closer to... more>> the end.

Without going into major details, it was far too rushed. There were a couple of loose ends that were “tied” but could’ve been expanded on. Some characters kinda just... disappeared after they served their role in the story. Alternatively, those that should’ve disappeared... didn’t. I was at least hoping to see their children in the end but all I got was a very Mary Sue ending. Kinda fitting for this type of story.

There isn’t much to say about the female lead. I neither love her nor hate her. However, it’s clear that the Author really wanted a FL (female lead) that’s equal parts helpless and resourceful. She’s definitely the type who needs her hand to be held. The ML (male lead) is just as much as a Gary Stu as the novel depicted him, so there’s not much to say about him either. Relationships in general are a complete mess. There’s also not a lot of logic happening in a few instances.

TL;DR: Overall, I judge whether I liked or disliked a story by if I’d be willing to read it again. Would I be willing to read this story again? Probably not. It was a good one to pass the time, but I can’t see myself craving to read this story again in the future. <<less

In the original story, after the real sister got together with her family. She hated the FL and destroyed her life. Literally she made her father throw out Huo Wu and later made her get kidnapped by human traffickers and was sold to a place where females were treated as s*aves and was married off to a dumb guy while she was tied to a chair and screaming for help. All because she was swapped with the FL.

The original FL (Real Sister) is a b*tch. She threw away her parents who raised her for so long. In the original story the father who raised her was in hospital and needed money, when they asked the FL for money she ignored them and left them alone.

Good fluffy fun, every once and awhile I like to read a book that is low on drama and high on sweet interactions and this one fits the bill!

Read this using MTL. The story started out really good with tons of cute fluff but got quite frustrating near the middle half of it as it drags on a bit so I haven't finished it with 12 chapters remaining.

There are a lot of interesting ideas that can be expanded on but the execution is lacking.

    1. University. I thought the author is going to talk more about it but until chapter 80 it was only mentioned lightly. Even the college entrance exam was mentioned more!
    2. Pets. Somehow in a random chapter the MC suddenly has two pets and it was barely mentioned ever again. Plus can pets live in dormitory?
    3. Entertainment circle. I really thought MC would face the Yuqing girl more in the entertainment circle before facing her outside but no. She is really a side character and only has a few lines. Also was looking forward for the baby reality show but not sure if it's going to be talked about or not in the next remaining 12 chapters : (
    4. Mo Ze. Oh my gosh! At this rate I am worried he might not get his own happy ending (family/status/relationship), but hopefully he will. Maybe with Yu Xinxin or someone in the age range....?

I also think having the Gu family is quite a good plot twist but at the same time untimely as it is nearing the end of the story.

Other than that, there are some inconsistencies in the story relating to timeline and characters, which made me somewhat annoyed.

    1. The summer school drama was released few months after filming while the war movie was released a few days after filming... Wut?
    2. Mo Ze should be busy but he seems to have a lot of free time saving MC whenever wherever.
    3. MC was 24 years old but still cried a ton because of a family that she lived with for just a year, when she already knew her background will sooner or later be revealed. And in one second she is calm and composed, in another second will become pitiful in front of ML. Ugh. Plus she is unbelievably dense with just the purpose of prolonging the story -_-
    4. Someone pointed this out but ML seems a bit out of character sometimes, a bit difficult to explain.

Overall it's an ok read but not super outstanding or anything. Plot drags on a bit and would be more fulfilling if some ideas are expanded on. <<less

I love this lighthearted series! Huo Yu Sen and Huo Wu are such loveable characters for me.

My only complaint in this series is there is no further details on Huo Wu's pets ☹️

I really love the flow of their relationship, although I felt sad for the original ML of the novel-I think his name is Moser in MTL. This novel have twisting turns of events.

Yusen still help her to film an oscar movie. To the most famous director to the dance instructor Emma. I really enjoyed it. Although it may seem rushed, but altogether it was a good read. I finished it in a day.

Their romance was quite cute and their chemistry was good. I think it is worth a try. For others, they might not like this type of stories. But for me, I really liked and enjoyed it.

Love this novel. It does have a relationship between siblings not related by blood, but she knew they weren’t related from the beginning and he found out early on. Their relationship is so sweet. I have read this novel several times and periodically come back to re-read it. Definitely recommend.

I've started and re-started and stopped this story several times until I finally finished it.

It's greatest issues are it's cringiness/cheesiness and how a lot of day to day details are glossed over. For instance, you'd think that there would be more details of her at school. I mean, there was that whole situation where she had to frantically study. But there's never any pay off for it. School is just glossed over. I hate that. It happened with other potential world building instances, as well. Plus, there's some extreme repetitiveness... more>> towards the beginning of the story.

I also remember being very upset that Mo Ze was so cheated, but upon rereading the dude was clearly very toxic and pushy. He sent her creepy texts. She never encouraged him. Still, he would have made an interesting ML, especially considering the fact that

I started reading after seeing the 3.5 rating. However I was disappointed. This story could easily have been completed in 50 chapters but there were just too much fillers and explanations. When you explain every details in a story if gets boring, loses its essence and becomes an exam essay..

Sub-par storyline, cliche plot and barely likable leads.

Stereotyped, superficial and boring. The only reason I finished it was to see how much the author could add clichés to the story and I was not disappointed. I say separately. In every season, at least one cliché and one ridiculous incident happened. This novel is excellent in the ridiculousness of the events and superficiality of the characters

I'll be honest here, yandere stories are one of my guilty pleasures so my review is probably biased. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly really enjoyed this novel. It was really satisfying to see the change in the way the ML treated the FL from the beginning until the end. I'm a sucker for the "cold ML turned warm for the FL" trope. And if you're someone who also enjoys that, then I assure you, you will also enjoy this one. Thank you to the amazing translators for your work!

The age of MC (18~19) ML (25-26) was borderline uncomfy (even if MC is almost the same age soul wise). In the eyes of other people, MC just reached adulthood.

The author described ML's appearance almost every chapter so I'd say, imo, the story is 50% plot 50% praising ml.

it was really fun to read and the FL was really good until the news start to have suspicions about her birth, especially during the filming of War (the aviation movie) and the FL tells her brother that people are slandering her and they are jealous, worrying about the trust between family members! But we know that she knows and she acts like they are horrible people and like a victim, she talks to her brother and never questions the news, a normal person would at least ask questions,... more>> she hurts her finger and it’s not a problem until her brother comes and she starts crying and saying big brother my finger is hurt and looking like a rabbit if she was really weak I wouldn’t mind but she is not and really acts like a little kid when her actual personality is not like that its called acting like a white lotus and I really don’t like it, conclusion the FL is starting to pisss me off <<less

Cutie flowery little sister MC X Doting big brother.

The characters are pretty flat, not well developed. The plot could’ve been developed much better. Many problems/issues are no resolved properly, many plot points just happened (because that way the story will be interesting) but never fully utilized and just forgotten.

I personally like this kind of story premise so I finished it, but, just read it to kill time and don’t use too much brain. Not gonna reread this, but I enjoyed some brainless time I spent reading it.

The story at the start was pretty good, and I liked the premise and the brother/sister relationship however the last arc felt rushed and so very cliché. The last chapters were hard to finish.

The translation is great though, and if you want a simple fluffy story to read one afternoon this will work.

definitely nothing special, but its not too bad if you want a mindless read to pass your time. I feel like the author just forgets about side characters until they can be used again to help the MC or bring conflict, the MC is definitely a mary sue who has everything going for her and pretty much all of the characters are two dimensional. However it is fluffy and the translation is amazing (which is why I gave it two stars). On the brother/sister aspect: I think its ok, sometimes... more>> did get a bit uncomfortable, but overall ok. <<less

It was ok, typical chinese romance with handsome, cold, op ML and beautiful pretty MC. The plot is cliched but its good if you didnt want to think much and just wants to see MC go through life easily.
