In the novel “Forced Love”, the female supporting character Huo Wu was a fake princess who had occupied someone else’s position for 18 years.

And everything she possessed should have belonged to the female lead.

After an accident, Huo Wu’s real identity was completely exposed.

She and the female lead returned to their respective places but she was still regarded by the female lead as a nail in her eye and a thorn in her flesh and ultimately came to a miserable end.

After Huo Wu, a small 18th line celebrity transmigrated into the character of the same name in the book, she shivered.

If you're into in*est, you must read this. Esp for the few last chapters, I guess there will be people who clamored at the relationship style of FL & ML.

... But since it's not my cuppa tea, I am tortured by reading this novel. I swear: I finished this by skimming--such a quick read.

Squeamish, yet I finished it, what a contradiction: like user @Nokwic said is best to describe my mental state while finishing, "like watching a sordid accident... Just wanna know the end."

Time & time again, I wonder why... more>> the FL is so s*upid despite all her golden fingers, eg:

never use the recording function on phone while being bullied. Always met with an accident, and as the pinnacle damsel in distress, her white knights would appear one after another--this is repetitively happening, without much variations, my brain felt so tired

Characters: annoying (believe it or not, my sole favorite is yu xinxin).

Plot: so hole-y.

Writing: repetitive. But it helps suppress my appetite & increase my bowel movement, this novel is a weight loss helper just by skimming--imagine if I have to read in depth. <<less

My only after thought is that she was an actress from her previous life, but she gets bullied by other people. The face slapping was okay but not satisfying.

Typical Modern Day Romance Novel. Makes use of the usual tropes. You have the stubborn, hardworking, and coquettish FL who just wants to live well. And on the other side you have the stoic, talented, and handsome ML who gets hit with an FL-canonball and ends up catching all sorts of unfamiliar feelings.

I recommend it if you’re looking for a casual romance novel. Otherwise, it’s nothing too special. Just a fun, sweet read. I personally didn’t finish it, but that’s because I fell asleep and then, in the morning, I... more>> ended up losing interest *sneezing face*.

In my opinion, this novel deserves an average rating. I could have given it a better one of the characters and the developments weren’t so copy and paste. But yeah, there isn’t really anything about this novel that stands out as unique. Outside from the “almost-in*est” romance LOLOL. <<less

How to start. Well this story is definitely a uniqe taste and not for everyone. I would say this story is as close to being in*est as it can get without actually being in*est (besides the adult siblings that both fell in love before knowing they weren't related trope 🤢🤮). she is transmigrated and knows and he spent almost 0 time with her as they avoided each other as children and then he went to boarding school not seeing her pretty much at all and not developing any sibling bond. Along with the fact that he find out relatively quickly after they get close.

I still dropped this story a little after ori FL showed up. Maybe it was because she was too ridiculous and annoying maybe it was because I was having to make excuses and defend the idea of them falling in love to myself in my mind and that kinda skeezed me out I don't know but it wasn't a terrible story. Cute fluffy romance - I had fun reading it (if you're in the mood for fluffy silly affections), but neither the plot nor the characters are so great that I would want to reread it again.

The male lead is the typical Mr. Cold Perfect but is only affectionate to the female lead. Female lead is the typical beauty who needs protecting and everyone either likes her or hates her. Every other character is just coincidentally there to move the story along to its "happy ending".

A very tripical Chinese teenage love story.

Very straight story that you dont need to use your brain. This is the type of story that you can read just for past the time or when you have nothing to read.

But I still have to say this because im the type of using my brain even when reading;

Bland storyline. Like, the author mention ML beauty more than tony stark love his daughter and its all the same words! We get it! His beauty is more than god buddha and heaven so enough... more>> already!

Dumb fl. This kind of FL is actually pretty common in chinese novel so im not shock, just a little annoyed.

Cliche and boring. Honestly, I skipped almost everything. Plot hole, no proper character development and the ending kinda rush. <<less

Plot-wise is 3☆ but I enjoyed it so I gave it a 4. It's a sweet and mindless fluff but author rushed up the ending and crammed in a lot of twists. I was like wtf author? Anywho, it's a good read. But just turn your brain off.

A rather unbelievable plot line and the story developed in at times absurd directions. One minute, the FL is dealing with her unwell crazy mother the next she’s soaking in the hot pool with the ML and her 2 male cousins.

The supposed main lead of the novel she transmigrated into was ‘limply’ dealt with in the end by ‘moving out of the country to become an office worker’!

Skimped through the remaining end chapters.

Overall: 6/10 as 3/4 of the story are really good and then suddenly it is too rushed

Translation: 9/10

Plot:

... more>> + likeable and decisive FL who doesnvt look for dog blood drama but wants to ebsure herself a golden thigh to survive

+ nice ML (like really cool and sweet)

+ interesting, 3 dimentional second ML (Mo Ze) who is rational enough

+ interesting background of FL

- ending is super rushed (one moment you feel the story is gonna last for 50 more chapters and it sums ip in 5)

- not used potential (her maternal family which is funny and cute or her mom are totally omitted after an interesting intro)

- no HE for 2nd ML

- ending, ending, no satisfaction <<less

I love this story so much! It’s a perfect light hearted romance that I tend to re-read when I feel a bit down. The translation is done well but the way they cut each chapter into several parts makes the story hard to read. I’ve tried to read it but I only get impatient for some reason. I really don’t understand why the translator decided to cut the chapters into 3+ parts. The stars are for the story (in Chinese) and quality of translation. It's a solid 4.5/5 for me. A pretty good fluff to binge when you need one. The emotions were conveyed very well to me. The fluffy is fluffy and the sad made me cry. However, that may be me who just tends to empathize a lot with the MC as if I was their parent lmao.

The characters are written ok. Nothing too outstanding per sé because the novel is pretty short so we didn't go too much into details. And tbh, I'm a sucker for the "doting" tag so this... more>> is pretty biased. The romance was pretty cute tho.

I didn't feel like the writing was too bad overall, but you shouldn't trust my opinion because I read a lot of MTL (I'm impatient OK? ㅠㅠ) <<less

I love the interactions between FL and ML, it's sweet, cute, and adorable.

First, I would like to say that this is a nice light story. No deep schemes between the leads and mostly development of the ML and FL from being sibling to lover. There are fluff but for me not so fluffy that made me grin like an idiot. So let's just say.. Just alright.

The one I am mostly concerned was the plot behind the FL's parents. I don't know if the author just quicken the story but I feel like the story about her origin was narrated hastily. For me,... more>> the story about the FL's parents are quite good if the author put more depth and effort on it. If only the author put some time to tell the FL's parents story. Lol! Knowing who her father was, I literally WTF at that moment cause really I never expect that at all.

The original heroine as well, maybe because she is the ML's real sister the author just gave her a super light ending the author could think of. I am quite disappointed, not that I want a bloody ending for her. It's just that knowing what happened to the FL in the book because of her, her ending is quite light. Lots of fluff, not much face slapping, some really messy family dynamics.

Overall, an entertaining read with a fairly decent job done by the translators.

Finished reading it using a machine translator and was decently impressed that the story was able to carry itself as far as it did. Though I would like a more satisfying ending it served its purpose and came to a fairly predictable, if not rushed, end.

It was a good read. I like it when both MC and ML put genuine efforts in their relationship. I also liked the part were both the leads were trying to come over their relationship's original status from siblings to lover. Their emotional struggle and confusion and acceptance and perseverance for future. I liked the story line and it was very well executed by author. Well it's not fully translated yet so I have completed it in mtl version. Good luck to translators for their hard work and to pick... more>> up this novel. Its light read can be completed in a day.

Don't expect much from this light read. It's a very simple and has less emotional drama. <<less

3.5/5 for me.

It was really cute. This novel is filled with Huo Yusen doting Huo Wei, each interaction becoming sweeter and even questionable at times. By now, I can't even count how many times the author described how good-looking Huo Yusen is. I mean, ok I get it.

The story itself is pretty good, but at some moments, some questions popped up in my mind and also some dissatisfaction. Despite this being a dog blood novel, part of the story falls short in the second half. The climax feels underwhelming, and... more>> when it's over I was like "huh? it's over already?". Didn't quite expect that. Though, I prefer it that way rather than dragging it all the way to hundreds of chapters.

Also, I feel like Mo Ze as the original male lead of the novel should've appeared more...? Yes, he did make a lot of appearance, but I feel like he's only there just for the sake of... appearing. Especially on the second half of the novel, he's become quite impossible. I wish he could've gotten more spotlight (despite me knowing this novel clearly favors Huo Yusen).

Since it only has less than 100 chapter (and each chapter cannot be called short, but it is not long either), I MTLed all the way to the end in one sitting. The story itself was mediocre, there was no excessive dog blood drama, so it was good. The ML was the overbearing, possessive, cold president trope. The MC was okay, she won't slap people unless the bottom line was provoked. She used the novel story only as reference not as a reason to slap people. A bit of the... more>> downside was everything's over too smoothly almost like there was almost no meaning in the antagonist appearance. And, I actually like Mo Ze better than ML, really.. At least I can feel his earnestness when chasing her, while to me, the ML was just unreasonably possessive just because MC is hovering in front of him everyday. But their interaction is sweet.
