This novel has a special place in my heart 😭❤️ It may not have a mindblowing plot but the character relationships, especially between the MC and ML is *french kiss* 🤌✨

I read this 3 times and each time, I still get butterflies in my stomach and cry my heart out 😭

The love between Su Su and Fei Fei is so genuine and deep. They're literally soulmates.

✅ Would sacrifice everything, even their life, just to save the other

The only complaint I have is... there were no explicit smut scenes! And because of that, I can only let my imagination run wild. Dang it🥲

I also love that there are several types of CPs 🥰 We're blessed with a variety of delicious side dishes 💞

I appreciate the way the author narrates the surroundings. It's kind of poetic but clear at the same time. It felt like you're literally at the scene and can feel the atmosphere... something like that.

There's a tiny bit of angst in the latter part of the story but it's nothing too major. Everything will work out in the end cause this novel has a happy ending. <<less

This has to be one of the best Danmei/MM/BL/Yaoi stories I have read and believe me I have read a lot over the years. I created a profile just to comment because I cannot believe the low ratings.

This book hits for me. It starts off feeling like s*um Villian but goes its own way and the characters are closer in age. There is also a great side couple story. You get to watch the characters fall in love AND be in love for a bit not just love you the... more>> end. And you get to see what happens after they die. It feels like a complete story.

All the plot holes fixed as you read on and what transmigration story do you not have to suspend some belief and just enjoy. It has cultivation magic for goodness sake. Why do people not complete a novel and tr*sh its ratings I will never understand.

Someone please make this into a translated novel I can buy so I can put it next to my favorites! My only wish, just a bit of spice would be nice. But seeing them in love was satisfying in of itself and I get you can only do so much with the censorship. <<less

I am so glad that I decided to read it despite seeing low ratings! By far one of my favourites^^ It's cute and funny that it made me laugh outloud a couple of times. Will definitely reread it again!

At first MC wasn't on the same power level as ML, but after initial training their power level evened out which convinced me to go on reading. I love equally powerful protagonists and the characterisation proceeded smoothly enough that it carried the novel for me.

The plot picked up after the author got over their initial crack-y beginning and it developed into a proper good novel that I'd recommend.

With the introduction of the plot there's also the introduction of the past generation and it reminded me of Blood of Youth, which... more>> made me enjoy reading this story even more due to the sweet memories of Blood of Youth. I like the intricacies that the older generations of this story brings to the table. From the romance to the angst, the author didn't slack off. <<less

I really like this novel.

We have a strong couple.

- the story has a simpler plan and a more normal end goal.

- I love the main couple, they are my darlings that you would like to protect with all your heart.

- The MC is your transmigrating character who forces himself to continue the storyline but fails.

what I liked is that he is very hardworking and of course he has a heart of gold.

- The ML is a big green flag just the way you like it. I particularly like his fair side.

those who have already read would like to know when they can't leave a review without talking about the couple of dads of the MC and the ML. Their stories are so sad. Frankly they are all victims of a bad woman who is the as*hole mother of the MC's body. Yes, I consider this bit*h to be the real villain of the Book who died too early that she couldn't receive the slap she deserved : (

*MC's dad is my favorite.

the ML's entourage are the healthiest in the series. And I love the fact that the author is giving everyone the chance to have the love of their life.

All that to say that I read this book in 2 days so good to have a good time.

Truly a good book. It has a more natural progression than many, and to the point that I’ve read it, there are no major “assault” scenes that bl authors love to add. I do feel that it does get a bit boring though later on in the book once confessions have been made, although I think that’s just an issue in the fact that I love the development of a relationship, but not the being in a relationship itself.p when it comes to any book.

Very cute story between a MC that was trying his hardest to play the villain in order to return home, inadvertently causing the ML to fall in love with him. MC is a very sweet boy and it's so funny how he has to pretend to be the young master of this "evil" demonic sect. It's been a while since I've read the story but I really enjoyed how organic and wholesome the relationship was. ML is the righteous hero and protagonist of the OG novel and his... more>> personality reflects that - he tries to do good and still wants to do the right thing without sacrificing his love for the MC - who is supposed to be on opposing sides. It was a well-fleshed out story and even the side characters felt very distinct.

The history between their dads made me so sad when they finally revealed it - but also if the dads hadn't broken apart - then MC and ML wouldn't have appeared.

I'll give this 5 stars. This novel is pretty solidly written esp compared to other numerous danmei novels I've read. The progress and interactions between MC and ML are also well done and believable. They have non-toxic dynamic and the ML is always considerate towards the MC + the ML is pretty smart and perceptive. The MC is quite likeable. Overall it's quite a cohesive story.

This is a masterpiece. The thought and detail to each character and their rational is wonderful. There is no toxicity and it's not dragged out. The relationship is so full of trust and love a complete juxtaposition to a certain couple. There are many literary devices and parallels between characters which is beautiful. This is my second time reading this and it is still such a great story.

Gu Feidi was kneeling, begging Luo Yin to heel Su Yang. Su Yang couldn’t bear watching ML on his knees, so he channeled his internal energy to disarray his condition. MC was inflicted with conflicting illness.

The act caused MC to collapse, body pale and heartbeat slowing down, basically on brink of death. ML went nuts, crying and begging the doc to save him.

Anyway, I love this one. It was funny watching MC trying to stay to plot and ML basically off course. The other side characters all have a role and author did spent some time developing them.

Plotwise, it can be fast paced. Couple of loops hole here and then but can be glossed over.

Only think I’ll always wonder, not just from this novel BUT all - why do people not communicate but choose to suffer 20-30 years of silence and grief? Sigh.

I leave you with this cheesy lines from MC and ML:

I was really pleasantly surprised. The story follows up on just about all of the commitments it makes. There's a sense that the world is much larger than just what's on screen. I absolutely adore the main pairing who are deeply affectionate with each other. Despite the author's reassurances that this story has a happy ending it didn't spoil the constant tension and the very real sense of danger and fear these characters faced. There were times when I actually laughed aloud or cried! No single... more>> character matches any other and each one seems to gain a bit more dimension each time they appear - Even the supporting characters! Along with the momentum of the plot I was always compelled to read more, only really putting the story down to eat, sleep or work. I think I burned through this story in about two days and it's by far one of the most pleasant danmei-reading experiences I've ever had.

The MC is a bit dense, but that's understandable given the context and tbh the payoff for all of the romantic tension is more than worth it.

There are a few iffy bits that signify a darker turn midway through the story. Hints of dub-con unfortunately make their way in, but thankfully, the characters talk things out and irreversible harm is completely avoided. That's another thing! The communication between the couple, once they're established, is excellent. They're open and patient with one another 95% of the time and everything about their dynamic is so wonderfully gentle. <<less

Love this novel so much!! I came to it not know what to expect, and came out of it being blown away. Started off as cute and funny, then sweet, then SAD!! But still sweet sprinkled in, then a great ending. Characters (main and side) 10/10, romance 10/10, plot 9/10! It was amazing getting to explore this world with MC ^-^

I really loved this novel. It's a novel where the theme "Enemies become lover" is done very well and is an important conflict to the story. Their love story is great and I think MC's struggles were very realistic.

Sweet, super sweet, and fluffy, very fluffy, it felt like cotton candy to my brain-mouth. Littlest bit of necessary angst that is present in all sweet stories for the sake of plot and character development. MC is adorable, ML is perfect. They are perfect together, babbies in life and death. My babbies. The only regret that I have is that the author didn’t make a sequel Q^Q

Oh nooo I remember reading this a while ago and not leaving a review 😅😭

From what I remember, I liked this, it was a good plot and the development was very good.

I liked the drama it had, it made me so excited and I was fangirling for those cute moments, in the final part prepare your stomach for all the dog food

Specially now that I only have the things that are more outstanding in my head, it was a good read to pass the time.

I'm surprised at how awesome the world building in this novel. It can be regard as high fantasy, only the writer more focus on the story of the 2 people. I end up loving this novel more than I expected in the beginning. And I really love how the writer conclude the whole story. Nothing left hanging and it's really complete.

I came across this a few months ago and kept thinking it wasn't done translating, until I saw the full translation at PurpleLy Translations completed in Oct 2021. Both translators have done a great job of making it very readable. It's one of those novels where I appreciated the description of the scenery even, it helped the novel to come to life.

I enjoyed the slow burn in this (in fact I wish it burned even slower) ! I'm a sucker for the villain-protagonist trope. I love how the mysteries layer... more>> one over another and finish in a complete arc, compared to those that lurch from arc to arc and you lose a bit of steam going from arc to arc. There are a few underlying mysteries all tied up one to another, and I think the author did a great job of resolving those loose ends. You could also tell how lovingly the author planned the story, and how seemingly throwaway references brought up along the course of the story serve a bigger purpose towards the end. <<less

Hnnnggghhhh, it would be nice to have a dominant, black belly, lesbian mama try to "catch" her transmigrated lover. Lol

Honestly, this was actually one of the most healthiest BL novels I read, and everyone gets a happy ending! Although I pined for a tiny bit of a love triangle, I guess it was for the best to not include that much drama.

Another thing I love in particular about this novel is the fact that the main lead is GAY!! Probably bis**ual?? I love that there was no "conversion", no "no homo" kind of tension, and none of the "$20 is $20" kind of gay love story. Since the main lead already has an attraction towards men, it makes sooo much more sense for him to develope an attraction to the main character! The only issue is to discover if it is a sense of "falling in love", or just brotherly infatuation/admiration, or a "sense of responsibility" because it's a transmigration novel. The characters have chemistry!! Their personalities blend and work well with each other that it doesn't feel as forceful as other BL novels. I love that it's not the "exclusive" type either where they treat their love interest one way and treat outsiders another way. In short, you can see how BOTH characters fell in love with each other.

Overall, I recommend this story!! Please read it!! You won't be disappointed! It gives off such a cute "Word of Honor" vibe because of how the main character sometime openly flirts with the main lead and causes him to have gay panics inwardly. Lol <<less

I love the little plot twists found throughout this novel. Original ally I thought it would be like every other transmigration novel- BUT NO. The author does an amazing job with making sure there aren’t any plot holes and that everything has an explanation. The ending was too sweet and sad at the same time (´༎ຶོ^༎ຶོ`) Definitely give Thai novel a try! P.s.
