There are some plot holes but the ML, Gu Feidi make me read this until the end! He is so sweet and loyal. The MC sometimes annoying and unreasonable but I like his determination.

Wow the story is completed. I started this novel around last yearish when it only had 20 chapters translated and have essentially been following the updates since then. I can't believe the story is built in a way that you don't completely forget the stuff from the beginning. This story just kind of works because it has a lot of stuff happen but it is all so distinct and memorable. I genuinely love the main characters, especially the MC, he is so cute. The story is also really interesting and... more>> I do find it kind of funny that the MC is very lost due to his lack of knowledge. No one has an omniscient view throughout the plot, not even the MC who knows the drama adaptation. And I can sort of appreciate that he doesn't have all the cheats and he is also learning new things every step of the way.

I feel that the MC is very realistic, he acts very naturally to everything in the story. He views himself as a 3rd party and isn't very attached to the world he is in. He also has no real reason to suspect the true parameters of the story by going off the drama (no spoilers sorry). And in addition he is just a simple person, he isn't excessively intelligent nor is he a perfect actor. Although he can fool people, he can't disguise the kindness in his heart since he truly isn't a bad person. He also reacts very naturally to dead bodies. However the funniest thing is him getting into the House of Spirited Jade (I forget the exact name). I won't explain but it is very funny to me.

The ML is also great, I love how committed he is to Su Yang. He doesn't love Su Yang at first site either and I can appreciate that. There isn't a lot of dog blood in this story but the sad stuff more comes from the MC's sacrifices to protect the ML. Their dynamic is so cute tho haha.

Story, its great, what else can I say. A lot of distinct events happen. Although it may not seem like much but at least 7 important events happen and the story surrounds them. I can appreciate this. I'm not exactly sure why I like the plot so much, but every event seems to pull the MC and ML closer together. :) Anyways great story, 10/10 would recommend. It is simple, sad but not too sad, and cute! I has the interesting story, fun and realistic characters so its great! <<less

I love this story so far!! As a few other reviewers have pointed out, this does have a few plotholes. I was very confused as to why the MC thought he couldn't act differently. There was nothing forcing him to act as the villain in situations. I'm pretty sure he though if he fulfilled his role and got to the end of the story, he would be able to go back to his original world and go on with life.

The main CP is very cute, and you can tell that... more>> the ML cares about the MC before they get together officially.

While this story is nothing amazing with an intricate plot like MDZS or 2HA, it is still a very interesting read. Atleast for me😅. <<less

I love it. This book is absolutely hilarious and I enjoy both the MC and the ML, and I especially relish their personalities. If I do have one complaint however, it's that this book gives me a lot of second-hand embarassment, courtesy of our dear MC.

I like it! It's pretty good, sweet, and the storyline pretty light. Some plot hole and unreasonable settings, but it doesn't make the story bad. Give it a chance.

MC&ML didn't fall in love at the first sight. They have they own mind to judge each other. But after knowing each other, they honest enough with their feeling. They get along very well and fair. Rumors, illness, family, life and death, they can face it, get hurt and solve them together. I like the history about their fathers and their ending.... more>> But it's too bloody if it become independent story, I can't eat it. <<less

I love this so much! Definitely my rereading material! The MC and ML relationahip is soo good. They always hold hands, its so cute! And, I love their personalities so much, especially the ML. Hes definitely one of the best ML ever!

unlike many other OP, overbearing ML, he is honest, righteous, and he is strong for his age, but not OP. He doesnt let love blinded him from his responsibilty, but also not so weak that he'll let go of his love for that. And I love that he faced his elders seriously and honestly. I also love that he cries... A LOT, for MC. (cuz MC is sick)

instead of being wishy washy about his feelings toward the ML, I feel like he doesnt take a long time to realize that the plot is unsalvageable, so he accepts ML feeling quite early imo. He's strong, but hes definitely not OP. Hes strong because he worked hard for it, since he wants to survive in that world.

At this point, I have only read to chapter 24.

I really enjoy the characters! The story seems to be a fun one, though, I don't know exactly if there is a big conflict coming later. I like that even though this novel is BL, it doesn't make the female characters annoying or weird!

Really enjoyed this! While it starts out fairly lighthearted and funny, definitely takes a turn for more serious and intense as they deal with sect conflict and trying to save the MC. I was hooked on not just trying to figure out how they would save the MC, but also about the backstory of what happened to their parents. The romance is very sweet - ML is so devoted to taking care of MC and willing to do whatever he can to save him.

this is one of my favorite novels!! The MC is so funny and kind of embarrassment himself a lot in the beginning but the character development is immaculate so far lol. 11/10 would recommend so if your debating whether or not you should, the answer is yEs.

Very cute and fluffy, likeable characters even though I feel the side characters weren't too fleshed out.

Since it's comedic, the plot can sometimes be all over the place but there tends to be at least some logical explanation eventually. Overall, a pretty decent feel-good read!

Very funny, some quite sad moment but not realy angsty.

MC is shou and ML is gong but it "seems" it was the other way around in the og novel MC transmigrated into. But that's not confirmed is I remember correctly.

Anyway, do not doubt the hard earned happy ending. They are very happy! But gosh the journey was emotionally tiring!

A good read honestly.

I recomend.

Quite the standard trope, done in fairly good way- what shone through is their pure devotion to each other, their love.

Mc: silly, simple, stubborn: these traits of his really drive the entire novel and his actions and it's hilarious at times specially when he tries to recite his lines lmaoo

Eh it’s alright. It’s a slow burn crack. Which makes it a fun light hearted read. Very good but kind of dog blood.

Personally I thought the beginning was hilarious because this guy was desperately trying to remember his lines from the movie but his natural temperament just made the secondhand embarrassment worse.

really tho, I was not expecting to get so invested in the drama of Su papa and his past. Really want more of that old drama but alas the past is in the past.

Another great example of "well-done classic tropes." After reading the description, I was expecting something heavier on the transmigration side, but that's definitely not the case. I would describe this as a fluffy romance novel with a touch of angst, leaning more toward the characters' relationship than the wuxia/xuanhuan elements. You won't find the most intricate plot or world-building here, but you will get maximum cuteness overload from their flirting. I have to give credit to the author—the MC and ML have one of the healthiest relationships I've ever read... more>> in danmei, which brings me to the novel's downside...

As I mentioned, the story lacks in the plot department, and it often feels like the author wrote it in a "neutral" setting and then tweaked a few parts to fit it into a wuxia framework. I don’t think any of the characters in the novel had a mindset fitting for a wuxia world—they felt more like modern people playing the roles of characters in a wuxia setting. So, as a romance story, it was a lovely experience; as a wuxia/xuanhuan novel... well, it falls short in many areas. <<less

Really enjoyed it, it was very cute. I picked early on that the drama adaptation MC acted in was a straightwashed and censored adaptation of the danmei novel he transmigrated into and that's why so many things didn't turn out as he expected, and it was great fun watching him obliviously trying to get the plot 'back on track' to what he thought it was supposed to be.

Greatly enjoyed this TQ with a dense but not dumb MC who is really just trying his best. He knows so little about the world and believes he can go back by following the drama script not realizing this is a novel world 😂.

Gu Feidi and Su Yang were a very cute couple that was mainly fluff with some angst caused by several life threatening experiences but I'm glad they were able to manage. The ending was also so cute, it was a great wish to make. Glad they will... more>> be together forever.

The Dads' story was hard to read because it was so out of their controls and the person who separated them was so god awful. Like why be so vindictive and narcissistic. Glad they also got their happy ending. <<less

Ok for starters, it's a good novel. Right amount of fluff however I initially drop this cuz of how s*upid the MC is. But once you get past that phase, it was actually good. Don't be stopped by other low reviews like what happened to me, because it's actually a good read. A brainless read.

Really cute, quite honestly! It didn't blow my mind, but I do think this one is underrated. I know some people struggle with the MC early on, but trust me, things do change!
