A smut story with an actual plot, and more then 100 chapters.... Nice found a good one, was my first thought...

Thou I have a problem because after NEET changed his domain to novelstranslation. com at chapter 33 you cant read any more because the domain is not renewed.

I'm at c91 at time of this review and will most likely drop it. I give this a 1/5.

First off the translation is absolutely terrible, even for mtl. It's not cleaned up, at all. I've done a little mtl myself and it's clear to see that the person who translated most of the chapters up to what I've read, did so with little care to fix any grammatical errors, at all to the point where a lot of sentences don't even make sense, I understand that this can be a... more>> real chore, so I get why they did this, but this contrasts heavy with the 'easy story' that doesn't take info dumps, proper cultivation, etc into play, as it's a headache to go through the grammar at times but there's no real 'meat' to the story that makes it worth it.

The story itself for a smut story is very sh*t in that department as well, if you want some good smut harem novel there are tons absolutely 10/10 smut novels (go check out Dream Drive for a good example) there are other novels that flirt on the idea and don't go full smut but don't shy away (like Mushoku Tensei), but there are also many in between novels as well, especially chinese novels since they tend to do a lot of wish fulfillment type stories, however I've seen very few as poorly done as this one. <<less

Another typical Xianxia story of strong, handsome, genius and arrogant protagonist. Except this time he's a practitioner from Earth that transferred to a fantasy kingdom. Story starts with Long Yi dying while being chased and transferring into the body of a good-for-nothing noble who's in the middle of raping the country's princess. The world he gets transferred to uses a mix of magic and ki (douqi) and with knowledge from his previous world (some fantastical version of China), he manages to find a bridge between the two and fuse them.... more>> Also, for some reason, the person he transferred into has an affinity for all elements, especially the lost ones (most people of the world only has affinity for one element, and people with affinity for even two are treated as geniuses). So far so good, interesting concepts and quite a nice way to start the story. Then the story starts off by going on breakneck speed and our protagonist meets one woman after another, making each and every one fall for him within just a few moments of meeting them. Add in several deus ex machinae elements that somehow ends up with him owning two tablets from opposing light and dark gods, getting offered blood pacts by magical beasts several powerlevels over him instantly when he meets them and just rushing from objective to objective. Having several woman fall for the protagonist can be done well, but that's certainly not the case here. I feel this novel has more common traits to H novels in that the story is often rushed for "plot" (when looking at the genre tags, this should be obvious in hindsight), but in this one there are next to no explicit H scenes. Certainly it has a way better story and actually interesting elements in it. So in short, the story feels really rushed with little to no character development for anyone but our main character. But if short harem stories where the women just keep coming are your thing, this will be your series. Otherwise, there are many other much better stories out there for you to explore. <<less

I'll keep this short and simple.

WM is exactly as the name suggests; if you don’t like the title or the tags, it’s probably not for you. The story has a few glaring shortcomings that prevent it from being a 10/10.

The cultivation system is not well-developed; the protagonist has his own cultivation techniques from his past life, as well as many other techniques, with no explanation of how he learned them. The relationships are all over the place. Some are good, some are bad, but what I dislike the most is how they are handled near the end.

The major issue that drops it to a 6/10 is the ending. To put it simply, it is rushed—far too rushed. As mentioned earlier, I didn't like how the relationships were handled towards the end. It feels as though all the build-up from the start to the middle was undermined by the rushed ending, leaving you without a satisfying resolution. Some relationships don’t develop further, some are left arbitrary, and sadly, some are forgotten.

I'd still recommend reading it, but be aware that you will not get a satisfying ending. <<less

Started out good, but halfway through its completely shit. Most of the novel is purely war, barely any adventure if not none. He tolerates enemies that kills his family and tried to kill him yet didn't even try to go against his enemies. Extremely passive against forces in the dark. Too s*upid for a main character. Don't read if you want to preserve your iq.

Dropped this when women kept appearing and found out that they had s*x with the MC while I dont even remember their name.. As much as the name should have said it, this is way too ridiculous, and stop with the bs char dev and MC, MC is a hypocrite that thinks that everyone else is a hypocrite except that him, like you have a harem, there is no true love within that, afterwards the fact that everyone is evil for some reason and problems appear everywhere, MC kills everyone... more>> and badabim badaboom, turned out they were actually scheming against him, what a surprise, not like this was not the same sh*t that happened with everyone else he killed, this truly feels like a world where there is the MC and its family with friends and everyone else, everyone else is evil tho btw, the characters are simply boring, you might read this to pass time but after some chapters it cant even deal with your boredom and just add to it <<less

every woman he meets has extremely peculiar circumstances that will inevitably make them part for long periods of time, just so he can find new woman that are in the same situation. The group the MC travels with constantly changes because of this

If you are looking for cute romance and harem with less focus on power levels then this novel is for you. Just don't dive in expecting action. It is a very light-hearted novel almost giving a slice of life feel in the beginning.

The novel was good at the start and I came in expecting alot of harem but ooh boi there are like 20 harem members by the end of the story.

Its a great novel if you can stand by the title. All the girls have some depth but it is shallow from a modern perspective, the plot is fairly interesting.

First, my English is not good; second, I’m not that inclined to put too much effort here, so sorry about any errors.

Well, at least the novel doesn’t try to fool you, lol, the name says everything, Womanizing Mage, and that’s what the novel runs around: the MC finding women and a little story about magic in the background.

The MC is Long Yi (previous life name, assassin/expert (?) of some group/organization), transmigrated in the body of Ximen Yu (second and favorite son of the patriarch of the Ximen Clan). He is called as Ximen Yu by the majority, the ones that knew him as Ximen Tu, but he always presents himself as Long Yi when he has the opportunity (new city, new world, has to deceive people etc.) and the author always use Long Yi to point his dialogue, so he sees himself as Long Yi (not like some other novels, that the transmigrated eventually sees himself as a new person).

Summing up: What we have is the MC rushing to one place to another picking up girls that become in love too easily.

Almost every girl that have a little more spotlight will be added to the harem, including mother (or maternal figures, all of them), sisters, friends etc. It’s so ridiculous that we see that the author had plans to add them, you know they are already part of the harem, but the story simply forgets to add them, lol (or how the author tries to point all of them in some occasions, but forgets some of the girls, lol). I thinks it’s more than 20 and, as you might know, impossible to really develop them with so many (some you like, but...).

Power levels are messed, the MC is the best at everything and is the one that solves things even if his companion is stronger (I think at some point they justify this as “everyone tends to rely on him, cause he is their master/man/just super good”).

The ending was rushed, I think, a lot of things are forgotten and he had to speed through.

If you understand what the novel is about (and like the genre), you can enjoy, and use it to pass the time.

Toss a coin to your Witcher, Oh Valley of Plenty! (This music simply doesn’t leave my head, lol).

Hell! This novel was perfect for a pe*vert like me. But there are times when too much is TOO MUCH.

... more>> This novel is 90% Harem development 10% normal Xianxia development. is exactly the contrary of any other novel, so if you are overcharged of many Shounen like novels with poor/lack of romance and heavy in cultivation, you can read this to balance your soul.

The battles, breakthrough and tension are solved within a single chapter, and you will see yourself skimming thought many Harem developed dialog since after the 4th or 5th girl everything just repeats.

If you like to read novels while having a hard on (like me of course) , I recommend this novel. But beware... there is too much of it. <<less

It would have been a better plot of it was just s*x scenes.

The way MC is always right, always wins, and is better than anyone at anything. That's not the bad thing though.

What's bad is how absurd and disgusting his arguments are. The reasoning for his actions are so bullsh*t and unacceptable that you want him to suffer a loss. But he never does, and you're just left with this gut feeling that this world is shit.

Not worth the time spent reading this, the ratio for this novel is:

90% - Having s*x with females, willing or not - and having paragraphs upon paragraphs recording (?) the actions between the main protagonist & the harem members.

Was interesting at first until author made the novel into something where the MC tries to bed every beautiful girl he sees.

Don't read if you want seriousness because the author will ruin it, Just when you think it's getting serious a girl appears and the MC has to be a pe*vert and borderline mol*ster to them.

Found myself skimming almost the entire chapter since it's mainly pe*verted moments that are just done bad and makes it seem like delusions of a s*xual frustrated man.

Harem: Its a Chinese novel so it's done poorly, women that are strong yet when they meet MC they turn into weak willed females that turn into idiots that can't even protect themselves from ants.

Plot: To be honest there is no major plot just small minor ones that get dragged out (mainly because of all the pe*verted sentences and paragraphs that take up most chapters.)

Long review short: Read if you want a slice of mediocre plot and harem. But if you want R18 then read something decent instead of this.

Early translation needs major edits but it slowly improves to minor edits. The cultivation and fights are interesting to read, and the way he picks up girls is entertaining (in the beginning). This novel is fun to read although sometimes it's boring but then the plot is actually good. Even more so, the female characters. The only problem, is that the girls are often seperated for a long time with MC. And the ending was rushed. According to the author, the book will be continued so I recommend this for people who doesn't have any more novels to read or just for leisure time

Honestly didn't get through chapter one without being disappointed. It's quite funny how out of the thousands of Chinese authors none of them can write an original story smh. Pretty easy to summarize: Fantasy of a 14-year old guy who never interacted with women. The fighting and cultivation elements are somewhat interesting, but that's about it. Supposingly intellegent MC turns into a h**ny monkey every time he sees a pretty girl. And by violently mol*sting her she somehow falls in love with him cause he is strong and has a nice smile. This literally happens all the time. I had some hope for the story in the beginning but then the fanservice just increases and the story slows down.

It’s suppose to be light hearted but like the plot says, it starts off with him raping a girl. He feels remorse but in less than 5 chapters he forgets about it and peeps, flirts, and etc to other girls. Just not my cup of tea. But overall he starts off overly strong and gifted. There’s a haram. It’s a cultivation novel about magic and mages.

At chapter 300 I got bored. Main character was picking fights with dudes getting chicks or some other boring stuff. The conversations between individuals got boring and the world building was also boring it was interesting at the beginning and I recall being entertained during the elf village saga and some other areas but at this point im reading it to keep up hoping for something interesting to happen
