I LOVE THIS NOVEL SO MUCH!!!! AHHHHHH! They is the type of relationship you want in reality but rare to find. Also, both ML and MC balanced each other, which I love the most. I love how ML is mature.

Ah~ a good refreshing for once, tbh I always stuck on novel with less romance development, finally I got my eyes on it ~ it was very refreshing Aaaaah! This one is too damn cute 😍 modern + prof and student + good romance development, this is what a good novel should have ah~ ofc its story also very fine 👍 5 star, I'm willing to give for sure 😃

MC meets ML through a gay dating app following mc's breakup, not knowing ML was his robotics professor. He sh*t talks the prof to ml, then earns they're the same person thanks to the app's location function. Though all said and done, MC and ML hit it off and decide to date secretly despite the student teacher dynamic. ML gives MC advice, life experiences, a taste of responsbility, and spoils him rotten. At the pinnacle of the story, MC gets embroiled in a nasty family inheritance power struggle that seperates the two for a brief time. At the end of the novel, they reunite and MC goes on a soul searching journey to build a stronger foundation for himself.

this novel is comedy gold, but also chock full of poignant moments that shows ting shuang's and bai changyi's growth as individuals and how they managed to find themselves in each other. In bcy's case, hes lived his whole life fulfilling other people's expectations of him to be the perfect gentleman, but only with ting shuang does he learn to indulge himself with the small pleasures in life and begins to thoroughly enjoy himself. And as the mature older partner with more life experiences and insight (and money), he guides ting shuang to be a better version of himself.

i just absolute love the two of them. They share an amazing reciprocal relationship where they gain so much from one another and arent afraid to give. Despite the clear power imbalance on the surface, bai changyi never ab*ses his status nor his wealth, instead he uses them to give ting shuang opportunities and encouragement. Ting shuang goes through immense growth but at the core stays true to himself. In his moments of doubt, he was able to ground himself and have bai changyi as a source of strength. Their story is just so incredibly romantic and inspiring. <<less

I love matured gong! I love how indulgence and patience Bai Changyi to Ting Shuang! With a 12 year gap I love their chemistry! Its too sweet and full of fluffs! Thank u author and translator!

Maturity! Second-hand embarrassments!

There may be readers who do not like the characters especially the main, but for me—I LIKE IT (о´∀`о)

I could not relate to any fictional character more than I relate to Ting Shuang. His embarrassing moments, fast conclusions, petty attitude, flirty persona AAAA ❤️

And then we have the most perfect ML I have read! The more things uncovered about him, the more he seemed like a perfect human being.

This is the stars and the moon. This is among my favorite after Assistant Architect (AA). When I read AA, I wish I had read the book when I was just starting my adult life. But reading YD happened at the right time when I needs lots of motivation to continue my postgraduate study. As I got older I found my life goals differ greatly from when I was younger and being Asian and coming from a mixture of conservative and liberal upbringing. I was confused between climbing the corporate... more>> ladders and be one of the future leaders or go do something that I enjoyed doing. But as years go by, it is not as simple as choice A or choice B. I had tried the high flier career, the typical career and the "i thought I hate it but turns out I love it career". And in all the career choices, I had to remind myself on how fortunate I am that I have choices and that I can afford to choose. In my journey, I discovered that there endless possibilities even in places you can't imagine it to happened.

So keeping a positive mindset is important and as the story said in highschool the biggest problem we face is passing the exam and the next life stage will have another set of problem and it will continue as life goes on. And right now, I'm in the middle of another set of problem of which I had spent quite a lot of money and still struggling whether to continue or choose another easier option.

But then I read the part in the story that says:

"is it because it is difficult that I dislike it?" This was an eye opener, I realized that I really loves challenging myself the more difficult it is, the happier I get once I mastered it. That was fun. And this novel remind me that I enjoyed the whole painful process of learning difficult stuffs and applying that knowledge successfully. Maybe I am a hidden M. Hahaha...

Basically, the novel reminds me of why I choose the harder option and I should continue to remind myself that one day when I look back to those days I can say that it worth it and that it wasn't so hard after all.

I think most ppl would say the ML is their favorite but not for me. I found the MC is more to my liking.

Definitely, will re-read this novel again. Worth it. <<less

That's a very heart warming Novel.

First thanks to the author for this beautiful novel second thanks to the translator (s) for translating this novel!

Reading the story one thing I realized is how an actual love relationship be like! Really! I felt so emotional while ending this novel as it's really perfect! One may think it's all fictional so it is normal for everything tobe this romantic or beautiful but I say, if you're committed enough and loyal enough and patient and understanding and mainly commute properly then this can happen... more>> in reality too.... But alas we lack such things!

Anyways back to the novel please please read it at least once and I guarantee you won't regret! (If you're not too hardcore 🙄)

For me it's 5/5

The first ever healthy relationship I've ever read in the genre of CN danmeis. The author did a good job of writing conflict resolution to the small cute interactions. To write this sort of work, I feel, the author must be pretty mature, or either open minded, which I can get the feel from this novel- vastly different from the other danmei's I've read. This was a fresh and great read :)

Definitely worth reading.. Especially after you read some up and down novel and you want to calm you heart..

It's about growth.. MC's growth.. The MC sometimes being unreasonable but you will able to understand him as the story goes.. Because of their age gap.. They really tried to understand each other... Anyway it worth 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

man, the ML is an absolutely perfect man! An A among A! He's so perfect and a dom and an S, and just so perfect. Dang I also want a mature man as my future boyfriend. I love love love the ML, really envious of MC. I wish oh how I wish.

I just want to say, it perfectly portrays a dilemma a college student has when thinking about their future. LOVE THE ML. He helped me find answer to the question" why should I care about college and studies. I recommend it to everyone who is in their college years right now.

I spent 4 years in Germany living near the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie and this made me miss Germany and the little back alley computer shops I used to visit to buy my components and gossip with other tech enthusiasts (if you ever get to Germany please visit Karlsruhe - it is a gem of a city)

This was a fun read and I highly, highly recommend it <<less

Wholesome. Too good to be true (ML). Character development (all) may it progress or regress. A very great read actually. This is one realistic read (for me), where you can assimilate yourself to the characters as the story goes on. Their decisions and views on great and small things. The angst caught me off guard and poked a hole through my tear sacks (a big one at that).

The university part is VERY relatable, I'm gonna work on my progress so I can pass this hurdle haha.

5/5 Really sweet, pure feelings. ML was MC's support and guiding light in MC's difficult time of his life where he has a lot of decisions to make about himself and his future. ML is a steady rock, but it was amazing that he too has his flaws and he was willing to admit it. The relationship was very steadily built and progressive, and it felt pretty natural. However, technically by the timeline, they settled a little fast especially when they're so sure about each other within 6 months. Not... more>> that that's impossible irl because that definitely happens, but yeah it's pretty quick. But overall I really like this story too, very re-readable as well since it's also refreshing to see an "adult's" view of transitioning from uni student to adulthood and the choices you make in between. <<less

i have read bl stories for over 2 years now and I have never feel any romantic feeling to the main characters but this was the first time it happened. The ML is just way too good to be true. I hope I'll be able to have someone like him too. I'm in college rn and this story just makes so much sense and it has lots of wisdom words that can help you in pursuing your course. Beautiful. It felt like I also grew up with the characters. I love how straightforward and mature their relationship is despite the age and status gap. I also love how the author portrayed family relationships. It's never black and white, especially in Asian households. I also felt healed with this somehow, but also left wishing I had a Professor Bai in my life.
