I read till chapter 9, and feel so much confused.

Silly MC I can accept (but not the 12year/teenagey mindset), but silly plot with no logic to follow is not enough to make me stay to read eventho it's all fluffy and all.

I'm surprised no one plotted to steal all MC money eventho it screams schemy plot in all turn.

The book was quite nice at first but everything starts to fall apart during the second half. MC had no character development and him traveling to the future has barely to none effects to the plot it might as well might not have happened. There is a constant misunderstanding at every step of the plot, while I found it funny and endearing at first, it got repetitive and old real quick.

I thought that this would be a good fluffy novel to sink my teeth into, but it failed to live... more>> up to the expectations. <<less

There was definitely a time I like this due to novel being a what if turned reality for the protagonist.

It got to the point I ignored a lot of its flaws.

I feel like the main character never developed at all even though he says he did. Physically him and his partner did grow up physically but the emotional and mental growth feels rushed.

  • its very well written at the starting it gets a bit confusing but like aft the main plot hits the story elevates
  • the MC is a very cute innocent chtr I fr always want to put him in my pocket and pat his head cos like he is literally so fkin cute like HOW BRO no wonder the people arnd him are so protective of him and he is so empathetic too and humanely aka not like those OP MCs he is like some of us who are unambitious dont like to study and just wants to go with the flow~
  • the ML is opposite of MC even though both of them lost their moms at a young age cos of dat one is traumatised aka ML cos tht mom is an a-hole donno what she even tryna pull bro poor kid fr
  • anyways 1 day the MC accidentally timetravels then meets ML and him in relationship in the year 2028 then he transmigrates back to 2018 which was the year he OG was belonging to and starts chasin the ML which ends very well also most of the love rivals for MC ends up fallin for MC cos he is very kind hearted and loveable
  • Mr Gu the ML dad low key pissed me off at one point cos he was dictating what the ML shld do and whatnot just because his love was not a success but who is he to do that? Its not his life.
  • anyways the MC & ML duo = very loving and doting literally throwing so much dog food at us!
  • really enjoyed this story a lot its very funny cute and loving~

Interesting concept but I'm left sorely dissapointed by the lack of brain cells the MC possesses. I'll have to say that the writing, humour and translations are on point but I found it extremely difficult to like the MC's personality. If I had to put it positively, you could say he is a silly sweet character brimming with naivety and lack of common sense... And to put it bluntly, he is an entitled and incompetent second generation rich kid with no real ambition, intellect or potential. It's even more terrifying... more>> that he knows this and doesn't try to fix it. This is a person who will wither without the support of others and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. In a sense, he is the "pearl in one's palm" and perhaps you could say that he offers a sense of belonging and warmth to ML but that's about it. Seriously, ML deserves better. <<less

3/5 for the story and 4/5 for the entertainment value.

This novel is absolutely adorable ^ _ ^ The shou is a dumb baby, but with how his family and the gong spoils him it's natural for him to grow up dense. The relationship between him and the gong is the classic "husband spoils wife" dynamic, and it's super cute and funny if you like that kind of thing.

This novel is truly Unique!

MC's character is Naive Adorkable Dummy. ML is Mature, Smart, kinda Black belly. Both of them had date lots of people. MC with women, ML with men. MC has characters that when dating or/and courting someone, he like to say words of devotion, and act loving. It wasn't fake, but when MC break up with them, he forgot most of his exes' name and face. While ML known as someone who wasn't bad toward the people he date, but definitely not devoted, or Loving.

So the future... more>> timeline MC had gone through confuse him with Sweet Loving ML. So when he's back he thought it was all just a dream. But after that he was jealous toward ML's dates and confused why. When he finally try to pursue ML, and ML know, ML distance himself from MC. But MC is always special for ML, ML can't handle MC being sad. But when someone tried to get close to naive dense MC, ML being Protective.

How did they get together? The whole thing was so Epic Hilarious this novel is that Great! Lmao

Things wasn't as smooth when they finally dating though. There's misunderstanding and conflict. They make it through and things finally clear and now they're still together for so long!!!

The Supporting Characters are Great! Especially MC's Family! They're EPIC GOLD!!!!

I honestly didn't expect I would Love this Novel waaay tooo Much!!! Yes, I Love this Novel soooo much from the bottom of my heart and beyond!!! <<less

4.5/5 Funny but typical dumb x possessive-ish couple. MC is an air-head that pretty much gets taken care of by his family and ML and is very ignorant, and hence ends up being tricked by "bad" people. ML tries to protect MC while overcoming some of his own mental obstacles.

The time-travel aspect was only used as a starter and wasn't related later on as the rest of the story was mainly just about MC chasing after ML (and ML trying to protect MC from "bad" people). The situations they end... more>> up with, as well as the side characters, were funny and kept me laughing for quite a bit.

Don't take this too seriously and it would be a pretty good funny, fluffy, and brainless read. <<less

So adorable and funny! I love how the MC really embraces the naive lovable dumbass trope- usually I would be annoyed because most of the time the author would insist the MC is ‘super smart’ but oblivious or something but no, everyone acknowledges MC is dumb af and it’s hilarious. All the supporting cast is simply phenomenal as well and I love the MC’s family, especially his dad who pitifully accepts both his sons are gay now then immediately mother hens him violently. I like this story very much.

It's a good humor and enough fluffy moments. Very easy to read. After every chapter you want more and more.

I don't think that main character is too s*upid. I think, if I were borned in the rich family, I would be the same person.))

seriously silly, which make the beginning fun. The MC is undoubtedly too s*upid and vain, but it’s cute, his family is awesome, -there is no absurdly possessive relationship and somewhat it gives good standard for awesome relationships. How nice :)

there is a decent explanation for the MC s*upidity, but I would have likedto see him grow

Ahh the intro isn’t good enough for this cute and funny novel. MC, Renzi, is a silly fool. He goes into the future and finds out he’s in a romantic relationship with his childhood friend, Gu Xiaoshan. How can this be? He’s straight! Or so the thought. Hahaha!

Novel is about Renzi pursuing GX once he realizes his feelings. However, Renzi is like a silly dog who gets distracted during his pursuit and ends up in various interesting situations. ;)

I am baffled that that with his personality the MC hasn't been kidnapped several times before the story even started, it's a bit too unbelievable

Oh my god I was so afraid Shu Jingyi was going to "hunt" our MC, I know it's not that kind of story but still

it's extremely hard to like the MC a lot when the story constantly emphasizes that he isn't smart or talented at anything; it's also emphasized that he has no friends besides maybe ml

renzi, the MC, is so naive and dense. I even called him s*upid a few times. It's not in the sense of mocking or insulting him but im genuinely saying that's he's really s*upid. But he's so nice. Such a pure hearted man, I cannot find faults. I even started to love him until the end.

also u need to know, before u read, in case u misunderstood him, it's not exactly his fault for being like that.

although I had my fair shares of reading naive MC, this is actually the... more>> first time that I really read a completely well-written character setting. There are some naive MCs who's actually pretty clever, always managing to make the MC a genius.

why I wanted to recommend this is because it made me realize a lot about naive people. My thoughts about them was completely captured by the author.

just a warning that this would frustrate u, u would blame the MC then feel guilty about it then blame the people around him haha

but this is also entertaining and hilarious, especially renzi's family. I love their interactions so much !!

about the progress of the plot, it's medium paced and is lighthearted. There are scenes that would make u feel secondhand embarrasment.

Sorry I really can't go on reading it, somehow I dragged myself through all these chapters.

It's not my cup of tea to read about a spoilt, white rabbit, s*upid, impulsive, kindergarten kid with no sense of awareness, forget about self, not even of his surroundings at least. He doesn't have any goals, nor a way of living if he leads a spendthrift life. I am just amazed how his actions were cute. He is really really frustrating, I simply regret reading this novel.

Okay, so. The summary was pretty interesting. Got me into that book. Reviews were also fairly good. But.

The book. It wasnt up to my expectations. It was very boring. Like, the plot wasn't even going anywhere. Some part were pretty confusing too. The writing style was also not the one I generally prefer. Like, half the time I don't know if the conversation is happening g in the present or the character is remembering it. The author tried to cover the lack of plot with humor, but it all just... more>> became a sorry mess. The only character I felt sorry for was he something guy (sorry, I'm not good at remembering names) MC was dumb, naive which is generally not a problem for me. I love a good laugh. But this MC just pretends he doesn't see what he doesn't want to see. Plotholes.

Half the time I think he has split personalities. Like one minute he's all serious figuring out his feelings next minute he's up to some dumb sh*t again. 😒 Basically, not a good experience for me. Translator did a good job tho. 👏 It might be your cup of tea, but I don't drink tea, so sorry. <<less

Well the story started when MC transmigrated 10 yrs in the future. ML at that time is very good to Him.

Then MC was back to 10 yrs in d past (2018) after spending almost a month in that 2028. MC personality is simple and silly. He is easily fooled. He got Low Eq and IQ. MC changes gf fastly but ML changes his boylets faster🤷🏻 (they talked about it when they started dating and known they wern't sincere in their past relationships thats why it did nt end well) then... more>> he went back to timeline 2028 hahaha just read it

ML also had his past troubles well was indicated he date 1-1. He does intimate actions with others to relieve stress but well hmm. Jiayou for MC in confessing his feelings and making ML believe in true love again due to his childhood trauma. Time to see how MC change ML outlook in life. But really MC is ML's nemesis in his life hahaha a soft spot in his heart. When sometimes MC so dense can't get a clue. They started dating at chap 58? Due to certain circumstances😂 anyways gosh they are so awkward and cute on their starting point. I think they already had a special rm of each other in their hearts. They just need a situation for them to find it. For MC it's his lil bit of transmigration. ML also dotes on MC since young even he pulls tricks on MC sometimes. some points wherein love wins for ML when MC gifted him something hahah:

bro this novel is so good lmfao. At it's best, it's about an innocent and well-protected young boy who falls in love with the 'ge' he's always admired since he was young due to a transmigration, with a lovable family and minor drama. There's just enough angst to make you tear up for the characters but not tear your hair out in frustration over their incapability to communicate. At it's worst it's about an MC who is dumb and idolizes his ge and repeatedly tries to get together with him.

the... more>> villains aren't forgettable but not memorable (aside from the trouble they caused) and the gradual realization of feelings between the ML and MC are really cute to read. This is definitely a laugh out loud kind of book with the funny antics of the family that loves the MC, and the MC that really loves the ML. It's not super long either so I recommend you'd read it <<less
