I was pretty interested in the novel all the way up till they transmigrate to the real world. I thought that part was interesting still, and was hoping for a happy romantic ending where they fall in love and love each other normally. But what? They brought both of them back? The system betrayed QKY? The QKY and SFX in both worlds still exists? But like only when the other isnt in their world? (Lmao confusing, ik. If yall read it then maybe yall would know what im talking about) im still highly confused and bewildered. Really hate this ending where it isnt even an ending, its just the start of round 2 ab*se for QKY.

I also find it really interesting, that some situations are just things the MC has dreamed or imagined. So you get sometimes confused and have to think what was real and what not.

What the hell is going on in the last chapters? Is he still inside the book or is he already back in the modern world? I am really confused.

Throughout the later half of the novel, I was shipping MC with Ziyang Pei. So when I found out that MC still ended up with ML (who did some really shitty stuff to MC) in the end, I was kinda mad. It was more of a BE than HE. The end, to me, feels like the MC finally broke down and gives himself up. He never really had a choice, as ML would always find a way to force MC to return to him. The ending seems a bit tragic to me as the MC isn't able to escape the ML and the actual good characters don't really have a HE either.

Also, the ML is basically the villain of this story.

And while MC is the victim of the weird Stockholm situation. Stockholm syndrome implies that the person themself deluded themselves into thinking everything is fine. MC is clearly not because he doesnt delude himself, he gave himself up. That's how it was written.

And with the multiple endings that the author written, I kind of wanted to see what the ML would've felt if he didn't get transmigrated to MC's world. Just to even the odds.

author attributed this change to heart demons. But even after transmigration to MC world with no heart demons, he carried the same personality. Which makes no sense.

The ML and MC didn't have romantic feelings towards each other but it was more like dependence and companionship relationship, mainly from the MLs side. The MC transmigrated into the novel he wrote and has to follow the systems instructions to play the role of the villain if he wants to go back hone. However, he feels bad for abusing the ML and goes undercover as a masked man and helps the ML. The ML falls for the masked man and finds out that the MC who keeps pushing him towards death is the same masked man.

The entire relationship between the two of them is basically the ML running after the MC and finally catching him and imprisoning him. He imprisons him until they both end up dying in the novel the MC wrote. Then the MC goes back to his original life in the real world and gets a job at a company. The company belongs to the MLs father. The ML retains his memories from the novel and recognizes the MC. He starts pursuing the MC again and they start living together like roommates. After some time passes, the MLs passionate love kinda dries up and is now more of a companionate relationship where he wants to stay with the MC forever even if the MC loves him or not. Anyways, the MC grows used to having the ML around him and taking care of him for two years and when suddenly the ML disappears, he feels like he can't function. He calls the ML to come back home. The ML confessed his love but the MC doesn't give a straight answer about whether or not he lives him back cuz the ML did a lot of stuff like imprisoning him and raping him in the novel but is rlly sweet to him in the real world. In the end they end up making out without the MCs answer. The ML and MC adopt a kid. Initially the MC didn't want the kid but he ends up loving him.
