- The FL was a serious actress, that's why she's so good at acting and so cunning.
- The OFL and OML are scum, but that's because they were already s*um in the original work (the FL read the novel because of schadenfreude whenever the FL gets in trouble).
- The ML isn't just a mindless yandere, he has legitimate issues caused by his past, but he also tries to overcome his issues (with a lot of help from the FL).
- There's no love at first sight or Stockholm syndrome- they start out with FL fooling the curious ML, FL purposely charms the ML to save herself, FL ends up liking him too after getting to know him more.
- My favorite, FL's "pure innocent flower fighting against the cruel unjust world" actions are pointed out as rude, s*upid, and actually harmful.
The FL and ML are both good. FL is cunning and (relatively) proactive, who works hard to survive in the world she found herself in. There's some guilt with her cheap family, but she fully accepts her new life and there's no bullsh*t... more>>The original story tells you how the ML is a madman, always killing without thoughts or reason, but as the story unfolds, it will show that he's a valiant and fair man. The things he has done had good reasons and some of the killings weren't done by him nor has he ordered them done. He is also a hero in the eyes of the soldier and he always deploys help and is always on the frontline when the monsters attack. He is a misunderstood man, and doesn't explain his actions.
The world was destined to end and the villains will rule peacefully by willingly giving up half of the world to the demon lords. The MC and ML changed the outcome. They were supposed to die early in the story, but they didn't because the MC transmigrated before she died and was able to prevent the ML from going uber black. They fought their destiny and won against the villains and the demons.
My fave is the MC's brother who likes dressing up as a woman in overt operations (His loveline almost turned into Yuri. Lol.) The cutest and funniest are the ML's puppet and his dog. Especially the puppet. This is a very complex character. He's blackened and sinister, but at the same time, innocent because he's just a child. And the MC's family. They're against the ML at first, but gets very close to him at the end. It's also the first I read where the ML is a very poor king. And the MC's power sound like plants versus zombies.
