Novel is very tr*sh. MC and ML are so s*upid in my opinion. ML keeps complaining about eating vinegar but does not even make a single effort to even pursue. I really didn't like this Ml. He's so annoying and his character for me is extremely ridiculous.

MC is op but that's just about it. He's very dumb when it come to EQ moments which provides a negative effect when reading this romance.

tbh just reading this is enough to make me more angry and damage my brain cell. Would definitely not... more>> recommend. Regret reading this and would like to erase this from my mind. <<less

The author doesn't seem to be able to remember the MC's character profile because MC's behavior and his initial introduction doesn't match at all.

In the first two chapters, MC is introduced as a genius mecha creator from a more technically advanced society that dreams of being a great mecha fighter but couldn't because he had a genetic illness. But later on, when as the story continues, MC doesn't actually seem very competitive. Like yeah the guy wins but it's repeated a few times that he doesn't care whether he wins... more>> or loses because he just loves mecha and he wants to see more of it or something. But isn't it his dream to be a master mecha fighter... why isn't he more keen about fighting then. He seems super excited about it in the first few chapters then after that it doesn't really seem that way anymore. It's even mentioned later on he's in some mecha fighting competition for the prize money.

And somehow even though he's a mega genius in mecha tech AND he's from a more technically advanced society, he hasn't created anything super amazing with the mecha he owns. Like whenever he adds or changes his mecha, it's like on a case by case basis and it's not like super amazing changes. Which I mean... seems abit of a let down seeing as how he's supposed to be a mecha tech master and he's only fighting against students so it's not like the mecha they're using are super cutting edge and powerful? Like he does win, and his changes are innovative but I mean... it's like a physics Nobel prize winner competing against a high school student in high school physics and barely winning. what's impressive about that? I could understand if his actual skill at using the mecha was weak since he doesn't have real life experience in that. But instead he seems like a master at using his mecha and his mecha itself is just good but not like wow amaaaaaaazing. When. It. Should. Be. Since. That's. His. Character. Setting.

the way his ex fiancé lingers around him and MC just snaps at him and then ignores it only for it to repeat over and over (and I only read 38 chapters) gets pretty annoying.

also MC is kind of lame. Like... so far he's had critical issues twice, and both times, he was rescued by the ML. Even though both times it's quite solvable for anyone with some common sense.

like when he suddenly went into estrus. He ran off, collapsed in public and then was found by ML and brought to the infirmary. but... he could've just called his friend who's ALSO an omega for help immediately after he found out he was going into estrus. But noooo he has to run around and collapse.

There was another incident where he was accused of using his estrus to win his fight. But I mean... he could've just looked for the alpha he was fighting at the time for back up. Especially because he was supposedly being penalized for using his estrus to win. Of all the people, the alpha whom he fought and who shook his hand right after the battle should know whether he was releasing any pheromones or not right?? But nope, he asked some questions, he engaged in some s*upid ass pointless argument with CY and then ML swooped in and rescued him. Meh.

It was a good read. All that needed to be there was there and everything was very complete with no loose ends vibe (maybe due to the lack of plot haha). It wasn't amazing but I would still recommended it.

Generally it's the typical weak to strong using past knowledge trope (mecha being the form of genius) and face slapping those who looked down on him trope (but it wasn't very dog bloody, lowkey felt that it didn't have enough drama). Luckily the story wasnt super technical-ly (since it was mecha... more>> focused after all) and the romance was nice and simple, not overly fluffy. The competition/ counterattacks were nicely written and didn't feel too repetitive (maybe due to the perfect length of the novel, would have liked some extras though). A legit good interstellar ABO novel.

Now for the rant that's just a rant and doesn't affect the quality of the book by much and may just be a "it's-just-me" thing, like something I just feel on my end only.

For some odd reason, I felt that some the antagonists (like the ones with no redemption not the hotblooded arrogant ones) were pushined a little too severely. I don't know why but the vibes when the MC was dealing with them antagonists were so.... Self-righteous and protagonist-sy (if you know what I mean). For example,

the way the queen was dealt with. Like... I dunno man. She was just thinking what she thought was best for her son and she actually loved her son a lot but.. It was just so messed up. She wasn't that extreme and I can honestly see it from her perspective. But because of the very strong protagonist halo, things just tilt in the MC's favour (I'm usually all for protagonist halos but something just felt off for me)

I just kept thinking if the cannon fodder counterattacks trope was used on our MC, I can see so many potential areas where the MC could be attacked by the counterattacker (ya know?).

Anyways recommended if you are looking for interstellar ABO novels with mecha and omega empowerment emphasis. <<less

This novel focused on the mecha aspect which is already a plus for me. Although there are a lot of dog-blood coded antagonists, their redemption near the end is pretty well done, in addition to their character development (although there are some that still lost their IQ). The protagonist is interesting enough to keep me engaged in the story, with him being mecha-con and a bear child, but still holds maturity if needed. And him putting in real effort, AKA not being OP on the first try is very commendable.... more>> Actually, most of the side characters are, they have distinctive personalities and aren't there to just be cheerleaders or steeping stones, all have their own talents and weakness (as already said before, even the villain has some worthy development).

Though I'd rather say the ending is a bit rushed, and there's one A-hole that still hasn't got their karma. But overall, it still gives a very satisfying ending. This novel has the typical iceberg-unattainable-high achieving-tragic backstory male lead, so you can expect how flat his personality is compared to other characters. Another minor minus point is for the questionable (?) falling in love motive. Maybe it's because I have just read an amazing work with god-tier characterization, but I am genuinely confused about why they fall in love. For the male lead, it feels like he just admires MC's talent, then when he founds out about their pheromones, it turned into the cliche ABO love trope. Then for the protagonist, I also feel that it was very shallow. ML just helps him a lot (gives him a lot of money too) then he also falls in love? Though we can reason that be it in his previous world and in this world, he had never felt the mainstream type of unconditional care. (Or maybe the money buys him lol, money x MC IS the only true ship). But eh, it is an ABO, so let's just not overthink and always point finger at pheromones.

Other than that, this is pretty much great. Yeah, the ending kinda feels a bit incomplete, but no expectations are let down here sir. It even surpass my expectation quite a bit. <<less

First things first, you just gotta know what you’re dipping your toes into:

Mecha, ABO, power-up plot

If you read the story & are still insistent on MC being too OP & whatnot, you dug your own pit. Even the author put a disclaimer, so I don’t know where your expectations came from.

... more>> That being said, just throw out most of your rationality, turn off some brain cells, & read with a blank mind. It’s much more fun that way, trust.

I didn’t think I’d like the story as much as I did. Putting aside a lot of the glaring odd tidbits strewn throughout the plot, I’d say the only real damage done to my soul was the fact that there are no extras. How the heck are you gonna leave me hanging like that?! I feel betrayed—it’s currently almost 2am, I’m fighting a persistent lingering cough while sucking on ricola drops, & there’s no extra chapters... so here I am, ranting my way on NU because I have no other way to fully flesh out my thoughts at the moment.

All in all, again, a good ABO sci-fi danmei that took an interesting approach on the social & gender mistreatment that usually follows this type of world setting. Not only does it touch upon stereotypical do’s & don’ts for alphas/omegas, but it also sheds light on the idea behind pheromone matching. What happens if you really are genetically matched with a disgusting excuse of a human?? The main message: don’t be forced to do anything.

Characters are one dimensional and bland. ML is literally just there to be the main lead. He's just there to be a kuudere, there is nothing special about him and any way, shape, nor form.

MC is more interesting but so far his past life was being sick but apparently really good at building mechas. However, there is nothing else about him. And he too is uninteresting. I like the focus of mechas but honestly that gets boring too.

All the characters are honestly just cliche. The white lotus MC, the Green... more>> tea b*tch, the knight in armor ML, the arrogant Ex and so on. "Love" how the ML is allergic to every other omega but the MC, how original. Ugh. Not to mention the ABO situation, a convenient plot device to justify the attraction between the two instead of doing the hard work writing in actual romance. I've seen ABO done better and with interesting twist. This was not one of those. Instead we have the "not like other omegas" cliche paired with the "I'm not like other rapists, I mean Alphas."

It had such potential but as usual very few people are capable of writing something with realistic characters rather than copy pasting. <<less

" one of the best abo novel I read "

It had a satisfactory ending for villians as well as the story. It was funny, enjoyable and it was not completely on romance.

It showed how MC rise up and it can also been seen that, by the end MC was stronger than ml.

... more>> Also the setting for omegas was really nice. As the end came, the omegas stood up for themselves and also that invention about that flower that will help omega was something really nice and creative.

What I loved the most was the cat mecha, the supporting character's reaction and perspectives (Kaleb, Lu Ranxu, su guy omega villian who later changed, mc's brother, the competitors of other school and likes) , also our mc's fight (especially with kaleb) and obviously how MC is stronger than ML at the end (it is showed that MC surpassed ML in many ways which is what I believe to be rare in other abo stories, usually even though MC (omega) is strong but ML (alpha) is 10 times stronger)

The author has done a great job and I would recommend it to everyone who loves stories with characteristics that I have written above! ☺ Ps: even tho MC is growing from weak to strong, it can also be seen that MC is op due to his identity of his part life but the reason why MC is able to get stronger is not only caz of that but also caz of his special ability which I believes to be due to his transmigration. Anyway I love it that's the final conclusion. 😊❤ <<less

If you look for romance, its barely there. But the ML really doting on the MC and you can walk through their relationship from strangers to employee/employer to senior/junior to friends/rivals and being a perfect match as a partner. Its mutual, understanding and respect. Or some may find it boring too because ML is too cold, quiet and closed-off while the MC oftentime lost in his mecha maniac brain.

This novel totally span around the MC. He's given a 2nd chance in life and he lived it up to the fullest.... more>> Making use of all his past intelligences and technologies to improve omegas social status and changes the law even changes their discrimination between genders. Its too OP, obviously because he originally came from somewhere more advance than this timeline.

His drastic action to cut off his glands is not irrational at all. It was the best time to make his point heard and seen by the world. If you can put yourself in his place maybe you can understand and feel it better. Well, I dont deny that there is a better and safer way but that was what the MC chosed.

Romance is a subplot, not a main genre, it's clickbait.

The protagonist is dense, acts very childish, is ignorant of his situation, and is arrogant on top.

His entirety radiates a white lotus aura.

... more>> Give an inch and he'll take a mile, the white lotus look is what makes people resign themselves to him.

Generally displeasing to the eye. Minus the white lotus act, he'd be an entitled brat.

The biggest flaw has to be self-harm.

MC ironically gets a second chance at life, he knows how precious health is, has taken a lot of care of his former body, but goes to push his new body over the edge again and again.

Completely unnecessarily so too, there's no rush in the things he's doing yet he's risking his neck every time... for his greedy self-satisfaction.

There were multiple signs of his not-self-loving habits exhibited throughout the story as well and those signs already started showing themselves mere 5 chapters in.

The biggest dangers this guy will ever be in are the ones he's directly responsible for.

Development doesn't feel natural, everything's forced. From transmigration to romance, all in all just there because it has to be. MC can approach from the worst angles and still come out on top every single time. We're merely going from one point to another, clearing one obstacle after another without a clear aim or thought process on said non-existent goal. Whatever his whimsical self desires, shall be.

No main plot as it's given all away in the short synopsis, so we don't even have a plot. The story curve status: Dead, deceased, flat-lined, and ready to be cremated.

Transmigrated to elevate an Alpha-Star-Struck domestic little omega into a Mecha nerdy guru. Everyone who offends him is an ass, those who kiss up to him are spared. Consequences? The author parent got his back. Need something like money and a charitable opportunity? The author parent got his back. The author's not doing him any favors by dumping all essentials into his lap, making the protagonist seem more incompetent than he is. Glaring protagonist halo with a gigantic intelligence debuff field that affects user, the protagonist, himself. OG plotline hardly is relevant.

It's not like I do not enjoy shuangwens but simply despise low-quality content, there are well-written ones out there despite the cliches and tropes. Depends on the author's writing style and execution. This one fell too flat. A good comparison would be 'rebirth of the evil mother in law', same cliches, flat cannon foddery, OP protagonist but the difference: the protagonist doesn't function like a single cell organism.

This is terribly boringly forgettably bad. Not the type of trainwreck bad that you can't look away from. Working through these paragraphs and chapters feels like being stuck in a never-ending field of mud. <<less

One of the better "cool-fic/feel-good fic" (shuangwen) ABOs out there where the MC confronts the prejudices of society and seeks to overturn them, as well as blazing a new trail for equality in the future.

Super strong OP MC (who is possibly more OP than the ML).

there was actually redemption for the ex-love-rival as well as the mom. Typically in most BL, it's difficult to find any admirable female or female-oriented cast of characters, but in this case we have several cases of strong ones.

This might be one of the first instance where I've seen the OG omega lead getting his own redemption after being face-slapped by the MC.

Your standard entertainment novel, but due to a positive and wholesome worldview, I give the author kudos.

I feel both disgust and also felt bad for him tbh (of course, its only when ignoring the original novel) He did regret breaking off with MC and was always proud of how high their pheromones compatible are, but of course, ML was higher. Even after MC cut off his glands he still loved him, but he was too disgusting I felt schadenfreude.

Ah. By the way, just came back to reread this again.

Not to be rude to the other readers who wrote a review but the review they wrote are just nonsense, it's like telling the opposite of what happened instead of telling the shortcomings of the novel itself.

It's mentioned in the description that Mecha is the main genre, and romance it's just next to it.

The protagonist may be dense, but he isn't childish and knows how to calculate things and deal with it himself. What white lotus aura? Do you even know what white lotus mean. He believes in himself and protects everyone close to him, like his classmate and his best friend.

He does care for his second life, besides, the things he does aren't really that dangerous, in the competitions, even if he lose, killing players aren't allowed. Cutting his glands are just him copying Eugene so he could become beta, besides the reason why the OG YXZ died is because of the infection after he cut his glands while in estrus. "for greedy satisfaction" You've forgotten, you've forgotten how Chi Yi is. He does want someone who can fight with him but also want them to depend on him, he isn't even that strong tf.

The romance clearly developed normally. ML found him and realized that he can smell his pheromones, while chi yi is just being delusional that they're still dating even though he's just forcing himself into MC with both their families in his side. ML treated him nicely and gave things he needed, even cheering YXZ and watching over him so he can practice carefully.

Pretty sure you've forgotten that OG YXZ already died and how he was humiliated, it is shown to MC what clearly happened to og yxz, he just transmigrated at the start but everything already happened to OG YXZ. Og host died. Not because he was pushed (how the f*ck did you even came up with that) but because he was humiliated and after he cut his glands while in estrus. What plot are you talking about, even MC leave the 'relationship' with chi yi, he can still be together with that omega. The original plot was chi yi and su Zinan falling in-love but they destroyed it themselves, Su Zinan was too jealous and shows his real personality, Chi Yi is still being delusional that MC working himself to become strong is for him.
  2. How the f*ck is og host and MC being a f*cking prick, og host is just doing what he should really do, it's not like he and chi yi had broken up the marriage, chi yi is just being a f*cking sh*t and clearly flirting with Su Zinan and su Zinan and aware of him being with the og host, he even started rumors and humiliated him anonymously. And MC just broke things of after he transmigrated so Chi Yi can be with Su Zinan and so he can avoid that f*cked up death of the og host.
  3. Og ML does care for him, giving him cake and explaining that him and szn are just friends, too bad he's a f*cking tr*sh, not admitting he is wrong and just wanted anyone who can fight with him.
  4. For businesses, og host just doesn't know how to fight, it's not like og host came from the same place szn came from, szn learned how to fight to survive while og MC is an OMEGA came from a rich family, meaning that he doesn't really need to fight.
  5. The f*ck do you mean og host doesn't care for anyone, the only person he is rude at was at su Zinan who was aware of what's going on, he just had a bad reputation because of him targeting szn, and because of that anonymous rumors made by szn.
  6. So you're telling me you wanted YXZ to repeat what happened to og host? Breaking it of means MC being free and staying away at of host's death and chi Yi pursuing szn openly.
  7. Other than him losing contact with his family and not having money, he successfully avoided og host's demise.
  8. Og ML did snitched, not only he was flirting with szn while being in a relationship, he told MC's parents about this but not how he openly chases szn, he also have the guts to tell everyone he dumped MC.

  10. After MC and chi yi broke up, it is mentioned that MC will be kicked out of the school if he didn't do well on the competition since he already doesn't have connections with chi yi.

It's mentioned that it is Mary sueish. The main plot is him becoming the well known omega that could fight and control Mecha, while the romance is the subplot.

It's f*cking mentioned in the first chapter that it's smooth sailing, IN. THE. FIRST. CHAPTER. It's not like they offended MC, he just defeated anyone who he needs to fight, and it's just him proving how strong he is even if he's an omega. Mostly, his enemy looks down on him for an omega and he just proves that they're wrong. Most of his enemy are arrogant, you're telling me that MC is in the wrong for proving he can fight?

I haven't finished it yet, since I don't want to MTL the rest. Overall, it's an okay novel.

Story Notes:

  • The ABO aspect is minority. Unlike other ABO danmei (which I'm sure half of us read for the romance between the ABO couple), the ABO here is mainly to point out the discrimination against omega in the mecha/interstellar world.
  • The main point of the story might as well be mecha modifying and fighting. More than half of the novel is about MC remodifying his 2nd hand mecha, and about 2/3 of the novel covers a mecha competition from picking a team, to preliminaries, to finals.
  • The Romantic/Romance Aspect is kind of an extra. Because, as I said, more than half of the novel is just showcasing the OPness of our MC. The interactions between MC/ML are sweet but it feels lacking, like there's no actual chemistry that we feel between them unlike other romance novels.
  • The actually romance only progresses (if there are any) during the latter, latter half of the novel (yes, latter of the latter half)
Character Notes:

  • I'm sure you all have heard, the MC is overpowered. A Gary Stu. No weaknesses at all, only OP.
  • The ML is a bank. Literally. He just throws his money at MC.
  • Family relatives mentioned in this story are tr*sh (both sides of MC and ML, as well as MC's fiance's family).
  • Side characters on the MC's side are cute, especially LRX (MC's omega roommate in the beginning) 💜
  • Side characters against MC are tr*sh (not even kidding).

  • The plot in the beginning of the story shows MC trying to break off his engagement with CY, who was with another omega SZN, while they were at the mecha academy:
  • Now, this SZN has character growth. You can see that his tr*sh personality represents the discrimination against omegas and their inferiority complex against the alphas. Eventually, MC showed him (and the world, actually) that omegas are not inferior to alphas. SZN actually, for all his flaws and mistakes, is not that bad.
  • CY, MC's fiance, is not likeable at all. If anything, he's like a pest. I feel like I'm seeing a fly everytime he is mentioned. He's just, simply put, delusional.
  • The MC cuts off his omega glands as a last resort when he was pushed to marry someone who was engaged to him because their pheromones were a high match. This happens in the latter half of the story.
  • Turns out MC and ML, the second prince of the Imperial City, were an even higher match, but it was only discovered after MC cut off his gland.
  • As of Chapter 91, MC is a beta with no chance of recovering his omega gland. (However, another spoiler note here tells me MC will get back his omega gland).

if you like face slapping and fairly predictable storylines (which, oh boy, I do) this story is for you! MC is a sickly genius who transmigrated over from an alternate universe with slightly more advanced mecha and who finally got to realize his dream of driving some! the "original owner" of the body was a rich kid who entered the academy through the back door, and that combined with the fact that hes an omega means that he's wildly underestimated in the arena. hes DEF op so you could argue... more>> that theres not a lot of tension to his fights (which, for me there was bc the chapters got rly long so the tl would split it up into two or three parts) but what I liked about it was that he had a lot of fun and creative ways to fight people stronger than him.

the reason I ended up taking off a star honestly was mostly because of the ml. he's a fairly typical overly cold school grass/kaolin flower who dotes HEAVILY on MC (which I do love!) but idk I felt that there was something... missing for a lot of the story. idk I cant really put it into words.

there was one review under a spoiler tag about the MC and mls relationship that I was fully prepared to agree with, but surprisingly didn't (and thats the main reason why I decided to write this review) and I think its because the person reviewing it was thinking more about the romance side rather than the mecha side of this (which is interesting considering that this story is heavier on the mecha side rather than the romance but whatever)

obv in the summary, we know MC cuts his glands, and as this is a fairly predictable story, we know that MC is able to get his glands back. the reviewer argued that it felt like it cheapened the storyline -- whats the point of coming to the realization that if you fall in love an individual, them "changing" their gender doesn't matter when MC didnt end up changing his gender at all? normally i'd agree with this point but a) MC didnt REALLY want to turn into a beta, he was forced into a corner and b) its actually quite explicit that ML didnt care about his gender, it was all the cannon fodder characters that did. yes, he was sad about it but that was mainly bc MC was in a lot of pain, fell into a coma and could have died, and he was also afraid that MC would be upset upon waking

in fact, in this case I feel as though MC turning into a beta would have cheapened the storyline. some of the characters mention that "oh it could be a good thing that hes turning into a beta because now he'll be stronger and can fight better! questionable physiology aside, MC did spend some time doing research specifically because he wanted to help omegas be able to drive mecha, and that combined with the fact that so much of the story focused on how people underestimated him because he was an omega, him turning into a beta would have just straight up s**ked. but hey, thats just my two cents.

I love this novel, overall is 4.5/5, - 0.5 because its only a bit rush, like kind of summary.. Maybe author rushing to finish the story 🤷‍♂️

I hate it when the MC is suddenly OCC and suddenly very overpowered without any reasonable expectation! This book is sh*t upon shit. People saying this book is great, have not read great books. You don't know what is a great book if you deem this great. The plot is just pure garbage

Mediocre story tbh.

I've followed it during its' initial publishing, since I was attracted by the strong protagonist setting. But when it was over I was too disappointed in how the author handled it at the end. My biggest disappointment was the fact that author just spilled the beans in the synopsis and it was the only dramatic point in the entire novel, nothing as big as this ever happens in the novel, so I conteplated on how impactful it might have been if author made a "surprise" in the novel... more>> instead of saying outloud. Secondly, when you read this moment sure it's all drama and look at how strong MC is, but the thought that "he could have acted differently" never left me while reading (simply because by that time he was a cherished scientist and usually those are protected and people could have been sent, but of course it's not as dramatic as MC who never contacted for help just slashed his gland and was carried out by the prince). Also the setting behind the situation: MC is forced because a new bill was just admitted and everyone hurried to marry him. It's all convenient to justify.

The romance of MC and ML was so BACKGROUND. Like it was very background if you look back after reading. Sure thing the romantic stuff like being a perfect match and meeting early, and only MC can fit ML and ML's care for MC with everything etc. But I still felt with the amount of mentioned fights/competitions just made their romance become distant.

And yeah, those competitions. A lot of time is spent on describing fights and matches, first in their academy, next when they compete with other schools. Everyone is making fun of MC who basically collected his first mecha from scraps, not to mention his accompanying cat robot. But later they couldn't underestimate the power of MC's modifications etc. Of course MC gets the glory of winning, later he is also cherished as a scienstist who made great contributions, later when he was rescued and recovered everyone found his identity, thus the fiance's family got quite a backlash. Anyway, all glory to MC in the end, but what surprised me the most was how MC aquired the business of his father who basically pushed him to marry, but he acted so vile in it, like so sinister it really lacked style. I really didn't feel the need to end things like that.

And that's that. He just gets known, last chapters look rushed and we're done.

Tbh, I also read another novel from this author, about a guy who after an accident acquired an ability to see how close a person is to death and some secret information about them, which I found way-way-way-way more interesting. It's called 我靠算命成为万人迷. <<less

Cute romance between MC and ML, but slow. ML is your typical quiet + SSS spiritual strength + mecha genius ML with a bit of darkness mixed in. I found it really interesting that MC had come from a world more advanced than the one he transmigrated into. This was fresh and an interesting concept.

s*um gong deserved what he got. I thought he was finally learning to treat MC properly, but his reaction to

finding out that he could force MC to marry him was when I realised there was no hope. S*um gong then being forcibly engaged to someone else when he didn't want to and realising what MC had felt was karmic justice.

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS STORY!!!

If you want a good interstellar, ABO, Mecha story with BL and all the pampering you can have then read this story!

I'm the type that usually quit reading the story halfway through, and it's very rare for me to stick to the story till the end if it's not engaging enough. So, the fact that I finished this story is a pretty good indication that it's good.

The MC and ML are very loveable. They're sticky to each other but knows not to restrict one another. They... more>> help when the other needs help and when the other don't, they take a step back and don't meddle. Basically they respect each others wishes.

I also love the face slapping and how the protagonist don't go around and forgive the people that hurt him, and MC won't hesitate to take revenge. It's very satisfying.

And the message in this story is really good. Just because someone is an omega doesn't mean you get to dictate their lives. The ABO world had the tendency to restrict the characters through this rules, but this story had the desire to break it. <<less
