Gu Wen Zhu: I’ll help.

Xia Yi: I don’t want to have a child.

Gu Wen Zhu: Yes, you want to.

As the worlds mixed up, the characters in the cultivation novel frequently appeared beside him.

The whole thing was a mess, traveling between two worlds. Claiming to be relatives with people, arranging a marriage, becoming sworn brothers with others…

Why not let his dog at home join the party too!

Same author of General Vampire's Omega and The Virtuous Omega Disguise as A Colonel, Little Baldy's novel is quite unique, an unexpected twist of event that leads to ML and MC quite beautiful love story.. Just like this story of Xia Yi and Gu Wen Zhu.. Gu wen zhu is a very doting husband! Love it!

Very fun read, though MC is a bit annoying/dumb at times. Like leaving fire unattended levels of dumb. There wasn't as much farming as I'd like but their domestic life was really sweet. ML is honestly too sweet and hardworking. I liked how it looked a bit of fun at common drama tropes. The interaction between the MC and the system were very funny, and the flashbacks could be a little sad and heavy (a bit gore-ish with the torture.

Everyone and their mother (quite literally) are transmigrating in this novel.... more>> For the most part it was fine, it's a short novel so it has a small cast and most characters are fleshed out. There are some I'd have liked to see more of, heck i'd have loved to see more farming & cultivation but they really glossed over both. It's just enough to brush the basics but I'm used to more details.

I think the only thing I had a problem with was a side CP,

with the OCD cultivator and the village guy. The cultivator was a bit of a snob using the guy but the village guy kinda schemed him to knock him up, telling him to lock up the herb that would have delayed his heat and then proceeding to [redacted] him. Also MC kept the whole ger pregnancy thing not exactly a secret but left things vague and didn't explain much to the OCD cultivator bc of the guy's snobbish attitude. TBH I don't always like the kids in extras bc they're so limited you don't get to know much and the things they do aren't as endearing bc of the time limited appearance.

There are quite a mixed plot here but it a good short read. Of course with a cliche plot spoiling your wife rotten is a must. Lol, I think many ppl don’t like MC, cus he is really spoiled by ppl around him and sometimes he a bit bratty. But this because of his circumstances is kinda quite normal. ML is typical serious, cool type but only spoil MC, there’s a little mystery and twist with their story, which is kinda interesting. The system is quite funny, can be considered... more>> very helpful with all the cheats and yet not very powerful. And sometimes it’s very human and act like a gossipy aunty too. Lol

Even it’s a short story it’s kinda have everything in it, the mysteries, the twists, the fluff and wholesome ends. Thank q. <<less

This story is on comedic side especially the converstaion between MC and his system. There is fluffy dog food scattering too... worth reading.😂😍😂😍😂😍

Is this novel worth your time? Is this novel interesting? The simple answer is yes, the long answer is I am worried but still invested. At the half way point I am still not too sure how this novel will end (which maybe a pro and not a con). The MC and ML are cute together and they work. They kind of the classic doting ML and silly spoiled kitten MC on paper, but they are more. They play off each other and do challenge their respective tropes well. The... more>> side characters are transient, but you can infer personality and story by how they act and what they do which is more than I expected but it is nice. I am look forward to how this story end. <<less

Just super cute. The epitome of fluffiness (so far anyway). It's what I'm in the mood for and if it's what you're in the mood for too it will hit the spot. I really enjoy the tr*sh system and its inability to get anything meaningful done, its commentary on the ML/MC relationship is great. If it wasn't a spoiler I'd share some choice lines.
