In short MC can be said to be the true definition of the son of god (Pragonist).

He is handsome, He is full of luck, everyone loves him, He has strong support. He is perfect, without any flaws.

The story itself is light, funny and fun to read. I don't think there is any plot that too heavy at all.

Totally love it!!

Though the story is sweet but kinda plain, it got me hooked up to finished the novel in a day.

... more>> I love how the story had some connection with the past life incidents...... although I saw that coming, it was still pretty nice.

The whole story is focused more on MC God Luck (I also want some of that luck). Everything pretty much went too smooth for MC after his Rebirth. It was kinda comedy as at first MC was trying so hard to be low-key but his luck foil his plan.

Love our puppy maiden heart but wolf at bed ML. I am all soft for pure maiden gongs. His action were pretty adorable in the first half of the story. I love how he was able to change into better, although it actually totally doesn't make sense in reality aspects anyways who cares since this is fictional.

I especially love the Friendship between QingYuan and MC. Their interaction and moment really lit me up while reading. He was such a good friends.

Overall, I really enjoyed this novel but it also kind of left me with BitterSweet taste. Sweetness from MC life and bitterness as not everyone has god Luck.

As much as I love MC coming out and confessing his love...... fans reaction and support, it was only possible because of MC God Damn luck or else if it was replaced by another celebrity, the outcome would have been totally different. It's really sad to see that.

I love that the author connect the past life and current life, how the ML has been in love with the MC since past life until now and what connected them.

I love that they both grew up and decided to come out of their own world. They overcame everything together and because of each other.

There is also not much conflict as the MC is basically full of luck (which will be explain later too).

It's a story that is deep but not too deep and is full of fluff.

Believe every single 5/5 and nothing less. I have continuously read Danmei for the past 3 years and this is definitely the top 5 most sweetest and beautiful stories I’ve read yet.

Having finished this just now, I am feeling regretful because I don’t believe I will find something like this again.

If you’re someone who wants to read a sweet and touching love story, please don’t leave this behind.

This is basically a second chance in life where the world revolves around the male leads, 100% (more than others, because it seems even the God gone incognito in world as cosplayer to guard the ship lol. I am talking about that Cosplayer that is Yu QingHuan university junior).

that not only Yu QingHuan got his past memories. Hou Qu is hinted to also had his past memories triggered by Qin Zheng. But as a special human, his savant syndrome made him unable to understand the concept of rebirth and just took what he understood only which is, "can't lose QingHuan again", thus keeping tight hold of QingHuan.

For me, the plot or the author writing is borderline 3.5-4. At first like 10 chapters in, I had to force myself to continue reading. Because the writing is a bit weird, making it seems the characterization of characters as "forced to appear appealing". It gets better though as the characters are established and interacted more with the world the author build.

The translation though..... I am tempted to give it 1.5, but lets say it is 2. It makes the total score of the story 3 which is majorly due to translation. Let me give examples:

    • A polite actor like Yu QingHuan won't call his agent "Dude". This is the first Chinese story het/homo that I saw the word "Dude" is ever used in translation.
    • Zhao QingYuan: Are you jealous? Huo Qu: I had chicken braised as lunch. (I don't remember the exact menu, but more importantly, the joke was lost completely in the translation. QingYuan was teasing Qu with "Are you eating vinegar aka being jealous". Our special Qu didn't understand the slang/jargon of vinegar, so he answered seriously of what he ate at lunch prio). It makes me feel I had missed/lost many other puns and jokes during the read.
    • Translator always always said "Huo Qu sipped his lips". Until now I don't know what is it that the translator wanted to convey actually. Did Qu lifted his lips as in about to smile? Or is it twitched, trying to contain his smile? Or slipped his lips, about to smile but his lips slipped down? There are also many other awkward choice of words. Some I know the more appropriate alternative, some I don't even know which makes me pondering the meaning of the sentence.
    • There are way too many wrong names used, like QingHuan talking QingHuan (-_-), Yu Xin become Yu Qing or Yu QingHuan. Huos siblings - Huo Rong, Huo Zheng, Huo Ro big mess of jumbled.
    • There is also Maine Coons cat is said to weight max 30kg. I believe it should be lbs instead, ~14kg.
There, if you can persist like me (I am those that always had to finish what I picked, or else it bothers me even when I picked a new book), then you can find the small joy author trying to deliver with this story. Live the life the way you want it because there is no real manual on 'how to live your life correctly'. And be kind and compassionate in your life. You may never get the recognition of your good deeds now, but someday you will get rewarded, believe it.

Long rant: To those saying ML is dumb and can't comprehend how he is a genius but can't even cross the road, I feel you gave yourself away as someone that can't empathy and sympathised with other living being (like not only human, but animals).

Author had said, he had a branch of scholarly syndrome. Author used branched because they wanted to show the "miracle" of him getting better. Face it, in real life, the change in Huo Qu is nearly impossible to happen in 2 years time for a real patient of the same syndrome. After all, if author modelled it according to real patient, it will become a documentary and the romance will be gone, like Huo Qu said. There are so many patience needed to let them function like normal. I never saw a savant syndrome patient, but I had saw a friend's child that is marvelous in memorizing (like the toddler can sing the whole song hearing it once word by word, even good in remembering people so he isn't shy meeting them a second time), but he had poor control of his motor skill. He can't hold spoons, picking things up (like fallen toys is very hard). Her mother had complain how testing it is teaching him with patience about the same thing over and over again. He loved books and TV more (sitting on a spot like a statue), didn't actively exploring. He never get tested (I think my friend is afraid to hear the result) but I believe there are so many wanders in this world and you should never say something as impossibly dumb, just because you are lucky enough to never encounter it or ignorant enough to never observed it. Huo Qu in the past life ending is close to what a mental disability patient had in real life. If they aren't abandoned instead being loved deeply, there are still many chances for accident to occur. As they are more vulnerable.

A wonderful story! Very heart-warming, sweet but not cloying. It will be a waste if you don't give it a try. It’s not easy for me to remember another story that had so many chapters, in which both MC and ML were so decent, caring and kind, in which there were no villains, intrigues, misfortunes, but at the same time it is extremely interesting to read, follow the characters, worry about them, be happy for them and with them.

In addition, I want to say something else... I sincerely do not... more>> understand why some people gave this piece of work one star. I tried to find their reviews. One person wrote that this is absurd, that the hero is a genius, but at the same time cannot do elementary things, it is not plausible. And he/she gives one star. Do you really need to be so principled here to such extent? Can't you make allowances for the fact that this is still fiction? A genius who can't do simple things (by the way, because of an autism spectrum disorder) confuses you, because it's not natural and rebirth does not confuse you at the same time? Can’t you see any contradiction in your conclusion?

I do not get it! There is nothing here that people usually take off their stars for: there is no racism, no violence. Bored, because there is no much action here? Can’t stand the genre? To such extent? I think we need to take voting very seriously. Especially if you give one or two stars. For example, I do not get it when people remove stars for the things written in the description or there is a corresponding tag. If you can't stand this particular thing, why read it? or if you started reading despite the warning, why vote and drown a good story? <<less

I really recommend this novel! There are no repeated or annoying unnecessary drama and very ENJOYABLE to read.

This novel is very heart warming. The way the author potray the MC and ML is very unique. I really love how each character have steady and reasonable development, and the development didn't change the characters' true nature. The MC still the same low-key, caring, and humble MC in the beginning. The ML still the pure, loyal, determined ML in the beginning.

It's also very amusing how the MC is VERY LUCKY INDEED!! Hahaha... more>> sometimes his luckines really made people dumbstruck. But, no matter how lucky he was he never used it to gain instant wealth or fame, very amiable character indeed.

Truthfully, I am very sad to have to part with this story ಥ_ಥ <<less

A very light and heartwarming entertainment BL. It had a lot of fluff for anyone who's looking for a sugar overload. If you've read a lot of entertainment BLs then the plot wouldn't be new to you, it has the usual rebirth and rise to fame formula, however unlike other entertainment BLs (not to take away anything from the other entertainment BLs out there), although this has drama it's not as heavy, it focuses more on the love plot between the MC and the ML - who by the way... more>> are both lovely and three-dimensional - and the villains were not as vicious and met their just desserts right away thereby lessening the usually complicated drama typical of entertainment rebirth BLs. It's a well-balanced novel. It had great pacing and the characters were easy to appreciate. So if you're looking for a fluffy light read this is definitely one to consider. The translation was good too but could use more proofreading owing to the missing letters, and sometimes misplaced names, but otherwise very good.

Regarding the one-star review, the MLs condition of being a genius and lacking the usual common sense and general behavior (when it comes to interactions and treatment) of regular individuals is actually realistic.

The author also mentioned in passing and implied that the ML did go through some events in his childhood that contributed to his condition. The author was probably trying to portray ML as an autistic savant and was quite successful in doing so at least to the extent that was enough for the length of the novel and the story she was trying to tell.

Just finished reading the entire story from MTL and I... just can't describe how I feel.

This story is wonderful. Cute, fluffy and funny. I think every part is good, and the author tied up every loose ends nicely.

At first, I thought our MC is too lucky that it was OP, but then, the story told us

This novel was extremely sweet. The story is about two people being forced apart in a previous lifetime and then reunited in the next. I also adore the fact that the ML is on the spectrum, and that he's still being loved because of his personality and such sweet things. ARGhhh that makes me so happy.

Another good thing! This story had like 1 chapter of angst before it came back to the tooth rotting FLUFF.

Actually the Previous Life extras had me crying..... literally sobbing.......

the MC and ML are both likeable and special, I love Huo Qu with my whole heart and his interactions with Yu Qinghuan are so so cute. Totally recommend and will probably reread in the future!!! :)

I enjoyed this book, especially how the slow fostering of love helped two people grow and become better people. I've interacted a bit with autistic people, and to me, the main character's mannerisms (and the way the parents treat him) actually seem fairly realistic. There's ways to help the autistic person learn to communicate better with others, express themselves better, and be more independent, but it requires a lot of work and not everyone will have the time, ability, or resources to do that work. The story is very sweet... more>> and a wonderful way to while away a weekend. My favorite part is towards the end, where the author explicitly explains the connection between the two lives. <<less

This is really such a nice and light-hearted read. The MC and ML are very harmonious and loving. I especially like how they both revealed their sexuality and relationship, and how much preparation the MC did.

The ML is also very lovely and charming, one of the most unique ML I've ever encountered. His loyalty and love to the MC is simply heartwarming, especially with his condition. The MC however is also very nice, his personality is also very unique, I really love them so much. And the side characters are... more>> also quite nice, especially Yu Xin and ZQY, ZQY is very hilarious HAHA I love him.

Regarding to the rebirth and goodluck of the MC,

To me this story is pretty average. But I'll give it 3.5* for having a unique ML

I enjoy the MCs charachter and his happyness every time his luck seems to be going poorly on the fame front. The ML goes through quite a bit of charachter development though it looks like he's taking into the typical yandere super compitent ML route.

Having the ML struggle with his shortcomings is one of the strong points of this story, the autistic qualeties of his are pretty well written but do not always feel... more>> consistent. But it's still better than how it usually is portrayed in MC or MLs in other stories.

Thing's I don't really appreciate is how some of developments or qualities feel a bit forced like:

    • the ML has a fit eye-candy body even though he never works out and doesn't exercise on a regular basis (???, okay I can suspend my disbelief because this is pretty common for Garry Stew)
    • Spoiler

      MC explain to ML at one point that sometimes people say 'no' when they actually mean 'yes'. Cue for ML to use this on MC in bed. That's pretty dangerous since it is a typical trait for autistic people perceive things in only black or white. But so far it only plays into allowing the MC to play the hard to get game. Though he sometimes needs to break this and take the initiative when the ML innocently doesn't know what the next step is (that's a bit more refreshing)

[5/5] [THIS BOOK IS VERY GOOD AND ADDICTIVE!!!!!]

Lately I get bored more easily when reading books, until I finally came across this book. At first I didn't think this book would be that good. But soon, I got slapped by its amazing story. In each chapter I am always amazed by the kindness that QH does and how sincere he is in helping others.

This book is focused in warmth of friendship, the warmth of family, and also the process of self-healing. Hence, this book may not only give the sweet... more>> taste of falling in love but also give feeling of comfort and warmth.

Don't look at the low rating *Some* people have given. Like yes not everyone loves what you or I love, but the reasons for low rating are kinda silly. This novel is pure fluff and no angst tbh. Like it was sugary from beginning, but it wasn't too much, jusy tiny tiny. But as it crossed chapter 50 or 60, it was so much sugar. Really SO. MUCH. SUGAR. (I don't like too much fluff) . I only have one complaint, and that is, the author didn't write what happened... more>> to the evanxi ship. Really I was extremely invested into their 2 minutes of appearance in the book, and when nothing else was written more about them, I felt little angry??? Whatever. This book in a nutshell is : soft wolf cub (really a puppy without a sense of direction) x the Little idiot koi running away from his fate <<less
