They made it seem like a huge deal and that she had to wear a mask, but I remember the author saying that it wasn't a huge scar? It was just an 'imperfection' on her perfect face even though it was just a spot on her face. Later on, it got cured with the power of luck and now everybody is worshipping her. I thought the author would make some commentary on this, but I guess not. I feel like the scar thing could've just not been there in the first place and it would've made no difference to the plot. It was just a moment to show off how beautiful the MC was.

- The occasional scenes of angst that plague Mingxi and FYX.

I'm so happy they were so in love they married abroad right out of high school and were a rare married university couple. Though I'm sad Yuning was unable to have a close relationship with Mingxi again, I'm glad he talks to Mingxi now and then. Plus Mingxi and Fu Yangxi had an adorable son!

I was f*cking pissed about their confrontation between the oriFL and her adoptive family and it got me laughing.

The ORIFL pointed out that it was the family's fault why the FL became like that and I totally agree! The audacity of the family! When the FL was found, rather than loving her, they pushed her around and around and I do think that oriFL is not at fault but rather the family's education!

On another hand, ML's background was so sad like I just wanna slap his mother but I do kind of understand her but it's still not justified. When he was a child, he and his brother got kidnapped and the kidnappers demanded the father to give them the ransom personally which ended in a tragedy of the father and the brother's horrifying and mutilated end. While the ML got chased around by dogs and almost end like them. So the mother lost her mind and blame the ML, she hated the ML because he looks like them, when he dyed his hair red, she hated him more because he do not look like them anymore. Yes, I just wanna hit someone.

Back to the oriFL family, when I was reading their guilt and sadness about losing FL, it kinda dawn to me that rather than being guilty and wanting her to come back because they do see their faults, it more like they want FL because she's still their family and blood is thickest. I was triggered by their notion, they should repent and want her back because of what they did and not just because they're family.

The end is kinda rushed for me but the journey was damn good. It was so f*cking cool when FL cornered her bullies in their training camp.

The ML and FL's relationship is so wholesome, makes me want to love someone. About their relationship, the ML found out that FL doesn't like him and he cried, cried and cried yet he still didn't forget to care for the FL. At the same time, the disappearance and change of mood of the ML made her realize the things she did not see before like how handsome he is, or his presence gave her calmness. They both blushed and blushed with each other.

Just a thought, I disagree with other comments saying MC could've said something. Its easier said than done. She actually doesnt have to, I mean its basic decency is for them to learn what she likes, what she dislikes. Theyre her family. She just came back. MC was the one out of her comfort zone. She was on their home base. Also, few days later her adopted grandma who took care of her passed away, they didnt seemed to have compensated her for raising MC (Im really pissed off with this).

They should have taken the first step to get to know her. And if she did say something, it could even backfire, like..

I've read another novel like this, the bio mom also said, 'She shouldve said something', but the adopted mom countered, 'If she said something, would you believe it? Didnt you always thought she was wrong? If she says she's allergic, maybe you wouldve still thought she was squeamish. If she says the skirt you brought cant be worn to work you would've still thought she was being picky, or high maintenance'

I dont know what would be the best ending for them. But I think this slightly open ending for them is a better ending than having reconciliation just for plot sake.

I like how MC was still (very) slightly soft hearted with 3rd bro at one part in the bit near end. He was still young, naive and immature. Though he made a mistake, I cant stop feeling bad about how miserable he was after his kinda bestfriend/sis left. So I really like the part were she felt soften by his helpless appearance that she kinda agree at visiting the cat he had taken in, though it was not put out that she really visited. For him its still a kind of salvation.

When MC is drunk and cry missing her deceased grandma, he directly call a private jet and take her to her hometown overnight (rich boy xD)

even though everyone suspect MC of using him as a tool to make Shen Liyao jealous, ML never think so. I absolutely like how he trust MC's personality even after going through such a bitter heartbreak
