The witch, Eleonora Asil, has fifteen previous convictions.

And the transmigrator, Noah Park, had no intentions of being involved in the novel’s original plot of the dragon beheading the villainess. With that thought in mind, she abandoned her title as The Wicked Witch and sought to live a long and peaceful life.

So she heads down to the countryside wrought with deep remorse for all her misdeeds. And all should be happy… or she thought.

“Please raise me!”

And so it would seem that she stumbled upon the heroine’s pet dragon — the black-haired kid that would turn ballistic and obsessive later on — imprinted the villainess as his mother. And to make matters worse, the male lead suspects her as the prime culprit of stealing the dragon.

“How long should I keep up with you?”

She thought he’d arrest her right away, but seems like the male lead was slowly becoming the dragon’s butler.

“Can I hug you?”

“No.”

“Then… can you hold me?”

The villainess believes that the dragon needs a bit of taming.

Such a wholesome, beautiful, awesome novel!

It was sooo heartwarming at times, and so thrilling at the others.

If you just started reading it, you expect a slice of life somehow, with a depressed girl from the 21st century who died due to oveworking. But there's so much more underneath, and as you go further and got to know more about the backstories of the characters, you get more immersed in the plot, and especially the mystery. A well thought of case with an interesting world, and the change of the characters... more>> are also something to look forward to. They feel like real people with real problems.

All in all, I recommend it for those who like slow romance between 3d people, and an interesting mystery which will slowly unfold. <<less

I haven't read it yet but leaving a review because of other people hating on the female lead saying she's unrealistic..

First of all it's a fantasy novel and dragons doesn't even "exist" in real life..

Second I do relate to the MC of not actually eating properly.. I'm the same I won't eat anything no matter how hungry I am if I don't like the food, I don't feel like cooking and washing the dishes after or I don't want to go to the store just to buy some food.. There... more>> was even a time I just had 1 meal a day for 3 months. So yeah, I'm malnourished. I prefer bread, but bread are expensive so I just settle with noodles most of the time.. <<less

I don't really like these kind of characters where they claim they are 'lazy' and show how bothersome certain actions are, and then in another scene they are doing the complete opposite. Yes, they are in danger and their life is threaten, so those are reasonable actions to take when that happens, but the example above shows in the latter half of the story.

The first half of the story is okay. Enjoyable enough to read the story as a usual "I got to defy those death flags" but as the... more>> story drags itself to the second half, it becomes less interesting story. The main character goes from "lazy" to "I do whatever the hell I want" mood and the reasons the character listed doesn't justify the random personality change.

One could say: the black dragon is the reason. But that point is kind of weak since the baby dragon is a baby and her personality is affecting him more than her.

It may be months since I last read this story, but I remember being bothered by the rapid choices the main character made. It is like the author themselves wants to finish this story quickly and forced this change in the most boring way possible. <<less

Well this is my first time reviewing a novel.

Story was really interesting in the beginning but towards the end it goes downwards.

The MC was lazy. Yes, but it’s ok, because me being the most lazy person I know so far😝. And ML also so caring of MC. But what I can’t stand was her s*upidity and stubbornness. When they confess their feelings and kiss then she’s like BRO NO! We are platonic friends. Then she says it’s ok to hug in platonic relationships and bury her head in his chest... more>> and inhale deeply his scent that calm her. Duh!

Another she think she solved everything in the factory in actuality she’s just damsel in distress who need ML and dragon to save her ass. She even forgot the fact that she have this so called dragon power that’s beyond the world.😵‍💫

”Noah scoffed. After all she had done, going into the so-called hotel and solving the problem by herself, even going as far as to find Adrian and rescue Lenia... Kyle did not trust her in the slightest”

MC just ended up there then just ended up inside the factory and saw. She even forgot about Lenia just after.

“Outside the hotel, Noah took a brief look around. The towering building that masqueraded as a hotel hid so many dark secrets, and she was the one who managed to uncover it all. Pride was swelling inside of her as she stepped inside with Kyle”

ML was perfect. Sometimes I think that he should have pretended to ignore her so MC will learn her lesson but she may still think that Oh! This is platonic.🙄 Even villian was more interesting than her towards the end. <<less

The story started strong but deteriorated near the end. MC is super stubborn and kinda has Mary Sue halo in the sense that she gets into trouble but seems to get saved in the nick of time. Villain cronies are kinda s*upid since they aren't suspicious of her at all and will answer her when she asks questions. This plot device irritates me so much. The romance part is just being stretched by the author, ML seems to be teasing her but she seems to be dense hence they don't... more>> get anywhere. So them being together is something that just took too long. Overall flow of story is straighforward but some sentences seems redundant or incomplete. This is one of the best k-novels I have read. (Also thank you to Sweet Escape for an excellent translation!) This novel is the most realistic out of the ones I have read too.

-A lot of people give the MC sh*t for people lazy, but to me it is a very realistic situation given the cause of her death (overworking). She was most likely still depressed over her death and a. She isn't able to use the magic of the body and b. In this era of time period, cooking... more>> would be really hard work. I mean, cooking in modern times also takes so much time.

-ML is also a well written character. No "he is so smart, so strong" without actions. No, the ML's qualities are actually proven and shown through his actions, how he handles a difficult situation. Also, he is somewhat of a tsundere but he is a very sweet tsundere. His "coldness" actually isn't really cold--he's just very rational and gets things done. He isn't overly simpy too. The way the MC and ML's relationship progresses is very natural. It's the only couple that gives me butterflies--perhaps because the characters and relationship are well fleshed out.

-The plot flows well, and the villains aren't some green tea or white lotus characters--the villain has a backstory and reasons and is also has a fleshed out character.

-I wish there was more fluff with the dragon (Muelle) and MC, but its ok. :D The slow-burn romance is nice too, also I do wish they would have gotten together sooner. Well, it is slow-burn for a reason haha.

I think the MC constantly trying to send Mu back to the capital was a bit harsh, but she's just met him--and only thinks of him as a obstacle to a peaceful life in the countryside. Also, MC was raised by a neglectful family, so she doesn't trust herself to take care of a child.

First of all, the translation is beautiful, I haven't read this kind of quality in a long long time. Great choice of wording to keep the atmosphere consistent.

I really enjoyed reading this novel, I love the slow burn and the natural transition between detective-suspect to butler-lazy young lady to family/friends then to lovers 🙃

I feel FL is so relatable sometimes 😂 and I like that the ML is not so perfect but he's perfect for her.

I really like the world building a lot, it's a mixture of industrial era... more>> but with magic 🪄 and it blends so well!

There is a social strata but not so obvious probably cuz both ML & FL are equally (in) famous and powerful?

The pace is very nice, not too slow, not too fast, not too wordy just enough to draw the picture. I really appreciate how the author described the cuteness of Mu, it's not just saying he's cute but by his actions, if u get what I mean. Also, like when describing how cool and skillful the ML (as the best detective/police officer) by his actions and his natural deductions, not by narration saying how cool he is. Moreover, the background details like the ML's job/skill has been used consistently and not just as a background info like many other novels that just gloss over it and focus on the romance only.

I know that the ML is not exactly the sweetest at first, but it's more consistent with his personality, he's very professional and he's very good with his job which makes it extra sweet when he fell for her. For the FL, I know that some of the reviews said that she's extremely lazy that it doesn't make sense 😂. I feel that she's very relatable tho especially if u live alone. For food, she actually really enjoyed the butler treatment, it's just sometimes she has different priorities 🤷‍♀️ I feel like she does enjoy eating, it's just that compared to sleeping or not washing dishes, not as much.

The mystery is gripping. I really didn't expect that quality from a novel with this kind of click bait tittle type 😂. Surprisingly have lots of substance, really good 👍

Overall, what I enjoy the most about this novel is just how wholesome everything is. The characters were all well developed and relatable, even the villains. The world building is rich, lots of scene variety

Man, writing this review takes me back, I'm still enjoying the aftertaste although it's not finished yet but it's enough to tell that this novel is great, reminds me of the novels I used to read when I was in school, before I know all of those toxic relationships novels, before those CEO ML craze, before those brain rotting reverse harem novels, before I know what yandere is... Simpler times when I still think love is not so hopeless afterall, simpler times when I wasn't so desperate to read MTL quality translations 🥲 <<less

honestly, i've loved this story from the first chapter, the author's writing is perfect, and the translation is amazing in a way that doesn't get in the way of the original author's message and feelings.

The plot of being reborn into a novel and changing the entire original script may just seem cliché, but the cliché ends at just this point.

there is no such thing as stalling to get to the center of the story, the 'villain' doesn't really try to change her behavior or stays at the center of the... more>> story, She just turns the f*ck on and disappears from the map. Confusion (the dragon) is the one who searches for it. But many points leave something to be desired, such as the simple fact of considering the soul of another person in the LF body as if it were something normal.

An even more irritating thing is that everything around the minister and the woman who actually stole the dragon's egg is too suspicious, BUT NO ONE DOES ANYTHING. Adrian just starts manipulating noah As he finds it convenient and she just accepts, FORGETTING THE FACT THAT HE WAS ACCUSEDING HER DURING THE JUDGMENT AND THAT HE BROKE INTO HER f*ckING ROOM WHILE SHE WAS SLEEPING

Imo there are way too many 1 star reviews for this haha.

The characters in this novel are all super interesting, in my opinion, and their overall characterization and development are well thought-out and not far fetched at all. MC is a lazy person, sure, but man it is absolutely not to the extent that these reviews would have you think lol. If she was, there wouldn't be a story. Rather than that, MC's laziness is used as some sort of comic relief when coupled with ML, who's a bit of... more>> a clean freak.

The enemies to lovers is absolutely phenomenal!!!!! The characters start off on a bad foot, and slowly (it's very slow paced so don't expect too much! This novel is more action based and the plot doesn't revolve around the romance to begin with) grow to tolerate, care for and like each other. There's not too much angst so this novel is absolutely not a heavy thing to read, and I'm usually a person to drop long novels because they become repetitive/boring after the first 30 chapters, but somehow this had me completely hooked.

The fantasy and world building is compelling, and the dragon's magic and its effects on MC have me on the edge of my seat every time I catch up to the current release. I'm so happy this is translated again, since a while ago it was taken down.

The translation's quality is superb as well, super coherent and natural sounding! Thank you so much for translating ♥ <<less

To be honest, I don't really like both FL and ML.

FL didn't learn any magic at all for 2 years, she didn't even eat properly and became malnutrition. I know that she is lazy, but that's another level. She is almost suicidal.

I can't being myself to like ML either. He nearly shot her and kept pointing a gun at her. At that point, I was like "That's it, I'm outta here".

After reading a lot of isekai and transmigrated novels full of romance and revenge, this one was like a breeze of fresh air with all the action and comedy that it holds. Obviously the topic of "I don't want to die" is there but, contrary to all the rest, she doesn't depend on the power of the former owner of the body and the angst that comes with "I'm not able to tell anybody that I'm a transmigrated soul" was a burden lifted from the FL.

Only thing I'm not very... more>> happy about: it seems the author forgets about the dragon's existence quite often, as if he was a mob or something like that because, in some cases, he's there but he doesn't talk nor act... As if he were a doll (?)

But the translators are doing a great job: yes, I noticed some mistakes with the genders here and there but, otherwise, it's a really smooth read. <<less

Im in love! The translator is doing such an amazing job! I relate to the FL on a spiritual level. Even though she rather be lazy and relax (like who wouldn't? Lol) she overcomes any challenges that comes her way. People are complaining that she's to much of a sloth but that's her personality and I love it! I can't wait to read more of the cute interactions between her, her baby dragon and the ML (ꈍᴗꈍ) <3

Thank you for the translators. ❤️ The reason I dropped this is because of the MC — she wants a peaceful life away from the main characters; okay I get it, she’s lazy; okay I somehow accepted it, but her decision to remain as how she is without any improvement for two years is just illogical. It’s like she lost her will to live, and just want to wake up and then sleep. Noah didn’t even try to learn magic even though she knows that... more>> Eleanor has a lot of potential (not even when she decided she’ll take the responsibility of Mu). Also, it’s like ML is always the one who figures and tells what they’re going to do. Idk, may be seclusion can lose one’s common sense. It is a refreshing story for me. I personally like reading stories with young child involved. I like how the interaction between Noah and Muell are as well as Kyle's role in their lives. I also like how the mysteries are laid and I am just waiting for it to unfold with every update. Waiting for updates just grows my curiosity and eagerness to immediately have the answers to these mysteries as well as the progress between the main characters. With that, I'm really excited to read the rest.

This novel is such a pleasant surprise! I pretty much picked it randomly because of the cover, not expecting much, and ended up falling head over heels in love with Noah, Kyle, and little Mu! I love the found family dynamic between them, the chemistry between Kyle and Noah is off the charts, Mu is an adorable baby dragon, and the mystery surrounding everything just makes it all the more delicious! I'm eagerly awaiting more chapters!

I started reading this with low expectations so maybe that's why I have such a high opinion. Typically these stories that involve a character being a mother to a young child are kind of annoying to me because that's my stage in real life and I don't want to read about badly written fake kids after mine have gone to bed. I think the ML and MC have pretty cute repartee and the dragon is NOT a saccharine little toddler. Translations are so awesome too! Big kudos to the translator!... more>> My only negative to this is that MC is so lazy and dumb it's annoying. I give it a pass since she died of overwork in her past life, but currently I am struggling to find her likable. Hope it changes! <<less

The plot is good. The leads are wonderful, and the child is such a cinnamonroll (灬♥ω♥灬)

My complaint isn't her being lazy. It's the MC being retrded af sometimes. She's got no self preservation, she just uses plot armor and prefers to just charge in with no plan, too lazy to use her head a lot of times. Why? Because she got a convenient man who does everything for her, an almighty dragon, and conveniently magic items. Mary Sue basically.

I second WartimerSloth, they hit the nail on the head with the pros and cons of this work. Ultimately I dropped it over the ML's undermining of the FL who slowly loses any and all of her proactive traits in favor of being moved around and trampled by the "protective urges" of Kyle. If this had 100% less romance, 70% more cute dragon baby + mom shenanigans, and Kyle showed up occasionally, I would have read it all the way through.

i enjoyed this novel and I recommended anyone who is interested by the novels themes to start reading, probably wont regret it. The author and translators work is amazing, the plot is interesting and the romance is good but I personally didnt end up finishing it bc I remember it getting a bit confusing and frustrating which kinda got tiring to read.
