Ok, wait for me to recover from this novel. I've officially melted from the amount of fluff in this novel.

I literally have no complaints. The comedy was cute but hit the right spot everytime, the plot was tooth-achingly sweet and every character in this novel is adorable.

I have a confession to make, the most annoying trope in the world is the misunderstandings trope. Really cute and I actually laughed out loud a couple of times. Not a huge fan of the format and the story is very superficial, but the fluff is worth it.

I read this 2 years ago but never finished, since the translation stopped. I went ahead and MTL'd the last few chapters this time and it doesn't MTL well. It was really hard to understand, probably because of the slang translating wrong, but I got the gist of it.

After MTLing the end I went to find the manhua and honestly... more>> I liked the manhua better. The format works way better in picture form and the art is really cute. I highly suggest looking it up after reading the story. I think someone translated it to English until chapter 36 or 37. <<less

It starts really well, the interactions are fun and sweet. However, the misunderstanding drags on too much. I can't enjoy the sweetness when I'm all the time feeling bad for the ML, thinking MC doesn't like him. So every interaction turn a bit ashy.

But maybe that's just me, so if you're interested, have a good read.

God, thank you for this story. It has made me laugh out loud and spit my drink. I can imagine it's even funnier in Chinese but the BlackBox TL is great. I have actually read this twice and it's just as funny the second time. The characters are sweet and differently well defined and completely hilarious together, the view of shipland is so funny and open, the internal monologue is delicious, delicious fluff. Came and checked it out since its pretty popular in the Chinese community, and the theme song of the audio drama has been bothering me in the Chinese tiktok for ages. The niangzi is rio is annoying as f*ck and my head is brainwashed whenever I hear one freaking sentence of it. Reminds me of PPAP with how annoying it is.

I've been watching the untamed (live action of the grandmaster of demonic cultivation - also a BL novel here).. and I keep thinking that the two main actors are the MC and the ML in this novel, LOL...

Unfortunately, the chemistry between the leads just didn't grab my attention because they got very close too suddenly and most of their interactions were paragraphs glossing over what they did and what they talked about rather than the actual dialogue. I don't like this type of writing very much, I prefer "show, don't tell"

For example, a lot of the time the author would get lazy and write, "We talked about X" instead of writing out the conversation.

It's not a novel with a big plot, or anguish, or script twists, but it has something, something that makes you feel good.

A love story based on a misunderstanding.

A talented actor surrounded by the comments of the fans who treat him as his son and those who ridicule him, accusing him of wanting to steal the resources of his adversary; however one day he finds another type of fan, the CP and not just any one, no, between him and his adversary.

The MC finds a place of peace among the... more>> fanfics where he and his adversary are the protagonists, knowing that everything is in the minds of his beloved fans.

Of course, one day he meets the ML in a shoot where they recorded together and between misunderstandings they begin to develop a relationship.

Only, this relationship may not be on the same page, nor place, nor galaxy for both protagonists. Each with his own idea and thoughts about what is happening they decide to get closer.

It is hilarious to see the situations from the point of view of the MC and then read what the ML writes in its diary about this same situation. As the protagonist is posing a romance or how this will affect his fans or as they will see it while, his "adversary" is dragged to the typical clichés of the BL following a completely different route.

I really had a lot of fun with this story, without OP characters or paragraphs describing the perfection of the protagonist. Just a romance story between a second-rate actor and a clueless actor. <<less

Short, cute and lots of funny moments because of MC's POV. There's a lso a bit of ML's POV because of his diary.

There's so much fluff in this one and there's no drama. The only thing that really annoys me is the misunderstanding that the author drags until the very end of the story. The extra is not so NSFW, at least for me. Lol

Let me tell u, this is not shonen ai!How pleasantly surprised I was I even had to rub my eyes wen I saw the NSFW tag. Aside fr this, the story is quite unique cos its told fr a 1st person perspective. The characters are cute, and wen u can see their inner monologues it's pretty funny.I hope the translation will cont soon!

I loved reading the translation from BlackBox!! This is the first one that I've read with a first person POV and it's just hilarious! The MC is one of the most adorable character I've encountered among the many translations I've read so far. The build up is just so funny, all their misunderstandings and how they react to all of the resulting events because of their misunderstanding is so cute, and the fluff!! don't even get me started...I guess when you read this be prepared to laugh until your cheeks... more>> and your sides hurt, oh and make sure you store a lot of anti-cavity toothpaste and anti-diabetic medicine because of all the sweetness... this is a refreshing, light, and really enjoyable read. This novel is so entertaining and Sweet and ML POV make it even more interesting and Hilarious. I can't help but fall in love with MC and ML.

I found this novel after seeing one of the YiZhan MV and because of then my imagination of MC and ML is Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo.

It would be so great if this was made into movie or drama but it won't happen........ [Sh*t (´ Ａ ｀ 。) ]

Things I enjoy:

  • The MC's hilarious inner monologue. I laughed at the MC's embarassing situations that he falls into and I like that he just rolls with it naturally even if he is internally screaming
  • The writing style with first person POV + cutting the MC's inner monologue when he's in Situation into small pieces. It has the effect of seeming like MC is startled/brain freeze at the Embarassing Situation or Thought and is trying to recover/rolls with the punches. It works well with the story!!
Things that don't work for me:
