I love the novels where the couple meet by gaming and are a lot of misunderstanding! This is one of those but really one of my favorites!! Is pretty well writen and both characters are so charismatic and funny!

This novel was so much fun to read! I laughed out loud multiple times, and I absolutely adored the relationship between the MC and ML It was refreshing to see a couple free from toxic gender roles where most of danmei have when they treat the shou as he was women, Their coming-out to their parents was also handled beautifully. Overall, I had a fantastic time reading this book

The relationship between the leads is SO cute, they are both really fun characters to follow in this. And honestly props to the author for not making the gaming segments unbearable, to me usually in this kind of novel it's hard to make gameplay descriptions feel genuine but they did. I think the esports plotting outside the romance was pretty underdeveloped, but if you take this as just a slice of life school romance - honestly, it's perfect, flawless.

Personal enjoyment: 5/5! MC and ML aren’t your typical gong x shou. I would love to read this for the first time again. Just a sucker for when secrets/ true identities unravel and there are just peak comedy moments in here because of that, but also because the MC refrains from speaking and hiding his cute voice from everyone. It’s been a while since I’ve read it but I still remember sooo many scenes from this novel and that’s how you know when a novel is good. Can’t say enough... more>> about this!! <<less

Rlly cute and wholesome. Couldnt imagine the couple in my head but thats my fault (my bad imagination). I would ve liked the MC to be a little bit more emotional and I d like him to change a bit more throughout the story.

How they got together could have been a bit different or at least the time they needed to establish a clear understanding could have been shorter, however eyerything is good as is as well so this minimal criticism isnt that relevant. It was still very enjoyable to... more>> read.

It bored me with all those chapters about gaming. Although it makes me laugh I just dont feel like it for now. I read many gaming themed bl series its just that this bored me. So I skim through the chapters until I find them interacting. And in the middle I dont like how it was prolonged.

shou could have said that he was an A uni student when they having dinner but he didn't. He said it'll be more fun to see the gong's reaction. Okay I get it. But before that he had a chance to say that his sister is this celeb again he didn't. Also those gaming chaps with gong streaming and interacting with fans, I find some of that unnecessary. Also I almost forgot at the beginning Liang siblings was mentioned, Idk if they will be mentioned again later but if it wasn't that Liang bro and sis really unnecessary. For what to annoy me?

I dont have problem with their personalities. Different from the usual shou and gong. I just wish it was a 'switch' I meant both dont have problem in either gong and shou. It'll be more fun. I would like to see the overbearing ceo top the huge golden retriever 😂

A fun read but not spectacular.

Lots of fluff although they only meet in like the sixtieth chapter. The concepts for the characters stand apart from the other books I've read; the author seems high-key obsessed with heights, practically listed the heights of all the characters, and probably has a voice fetish.

I think the game parts might a bit too hard to follow for people who've never played a MOBA game. The mechanics and how fast the MC learned it was a bit unrealistic--it's impossible to know how a hero works... more>> from just reading their skills, you have to test them to see how big their range is and whether there's a casting delay. Idkk, they also seem to have won every match (except one) even when they solo queue. Not possible.

One thing I wasn't a big fan of was how the MC kept hitting the ML, even accidentally knocked out a tooth. Violence is not cute. Is having a talent for taking beatings and a delayed reaction to pain even a thing?

Overall it's quite engaging though, I binged it in 3 days. It's a good read if you want nothing serious and no big drama. <<less

Soo fluffy and a realistic setting. The feelings were nicely portrayed. Really liked ml's shameless nature (very refreshing from typical cold ml's). I was not bored at all and finished it in two readings.

I'm still adjusting in the genre of esports so I don't appreciate it too much but I still really enjoy it.

I really love this couple and how smooth their relationship develop, and how natural it progress.

Just kinda sad cuz there's no development about Liao Su and Liang Chulin, its a pity as I love their dynamics.

It's an ok read. It's good enough but it won't blow your mind.

The start seems fine. The pace is too slow and very much like a slice of life. It's just, everything seems so perfect from the MC to the ML. There is not much character growth towards the end.

It doesn't show a realistic depiction on how society works and how relationships develop. There's no struggle. Everything is just meant to be solved because MC and ML are OP.

This novel is the best and I love this so much! Though I read this a long time ago and already read countless of BL novels after this, I can still vividly recall their personalities and my favourite scenes here :3 Its hard to reread because of that haha They suit each other and also so cute~~~

Though I kinda wish theres more chapters cause it feels tiny 👌 bit incomplete but nonetheless it was very good read and this was one of my favourites.

Just like what JaniePup said, this has been on my mind for a while: domestic violence. It was a good story and it was only a few chapters but it really left a mark. For real people who will read this, please take a therapy or calming routine if you exhibit these tendency towards anyone. Loving a person and then hurting them is not good.

KK has been a famous streamer, no one has seen it from their school? He even made several hot topics on whatever platform that was. No one got curious and happened to see what the news are all about?

I won't further comment on the Mary Sue because it's a known loved trope.

This novel is fantastic. The translation was done extremely well and the book itself is fun and keeps you wanting to keep reading. I wasn't expecting to like it so much since there are so many gaming terms, and yet here we are.

There's only one thing that I don't like very much, and it's that the MC is violent when he gets irritated. I don't appreciate how the author tries to play off the fact that he literally gave the ML a black eye just because he was a little... more>> angry at his teasing. The ML laughs it off, makes a joke, and we're reminded of his high pain tolerance (as if that'll make it ok). This is just one instance, and that's not to mention all of his threatening to beat the sh*t out of the people who are supposed to be his friends. It's overall kinda off putting.

But I'm still giving it 5 stars because the rest of the book has been excellent. Only halfway through though so I might update the rating <<less

So GOOD!! This MC might be one of my favorite MCs ever, he is strong, smart, and very different from the usual MC in danmei novels, The ML too, both of them have such fun personalities, super likeable and great chemistry. The side characters are also fun and help characterize the main CP in different ways. I love the ML, he is so cute and very relatable. Its very light hearted so dont expect anything dramatic or deep. The romance parts were fluffy and cute and exactly what I like.

An entertaining read! I laughed out loud multiple times, and was terribly, terribly temped to stay up and read just a few more chapters at night when I was reading it. It is very cute, and low stress.

The translator here is fantastic, also. I appreciate them. I have never even heard of the game being referenced, and I'm not great at keeping track of a lot of names for people that aren't characters - but the translator's notes and explanations in each chapter were so great and helpful and thorough.

For... more>> a mild critique - sometimes the author got so very into their description that I ended up having no idea what they were saying, hah. Especially when they were describing the ML's voice in the first half of the book. So many different words were used that didn't seem cohesive to me. It made it a little hard to take those sections seriously - I kept picturing the ML's voice as the angry squeaking frog.

But that's really the most minor of things. It's not a story that asks you to take it seriously in the first place. It's like a tasty snack. It wasn't a full course meal, but I enjoyed consuming it. <<less

The novel is wonderful. It is very fluffy and has little major conflicts but I still enjoyed the character's interactions with one another. The misunderstanding of the characters and also the audience is very fun as the reader since you know the whole story and the pace and the ways each fact was slowly being revealed to form the big picture was quite satisfying even though you already know all of it. The humor is spot on and the amount of times I was laughing my head was too many... more>> to count. My most favorite character was the ML, his shamelessness really makes me treasure every scene and his chemistry with the MC is so delightful and together, they make such sweet yet funny love story.

10/10 would reccomend others to read it. <<less

Ive read this story a long time ago...

This story is unique. Cause the MC acts like the ML.. And vice versa.. You know? You'll discover soon if you read this.

The story is sweet. The kind of sweetness everytime you remember Taylor Swift's innocent songs of her debut Era.. Hehe I'm a swiftie and just a while ago, I watch a swiftie fan-made video.

This is sooo good! Definitely on gonna be shelved under my 'favorites'. This is pure fluff. The amount of dog food this novel shoves down readers' throats is surreal. There are some aspects of "drama" but it doesn't seem bothersome or out of place, and in fact the drama serves a purpose to get the 2 together. The CP is a big golden retriever type gong x tsundere kitten that land a mean punch– no seriously, he can land a mean punch that knocked out a teeth (which is also... more>> a trigger warning! Because the shou is such a tsundere and he practices boxing, he's kinda like a kitten with very sharp claws and there are some cases of punching and hitting). Other than that, it's a HUGE kudos on my part for this novel! <<less
