I liked the antagonist Lin at the start, but the latter antagonist feels like I just stumbled into a block that I knew was there, but then moved several paces so that I tripped over it. I guess the ending was satisfying, if only they didn't have to waste more words on the 'true antagonist', because he was too much like a Sue. Skilled in everything but still suffering at the hands of ML. ML's schemes were justified, the antagonist's hype was not.

how early on, everything was already laid bare from his feelings towards the ML and vice versa, how he needed to properly sort out his feelings and how they move forward based on this. It's not those (sometimes) annoying MCs who is clueless about the MLs blatantly obvious feelings for them and causes misunderstandings althroughout.

the villain wow I don’t know if I like him or not, he was a good actor that at time I did doubt his intentions and believed he was good but he was too OP at time with a low IQ. Such a dangerous combo. By the end I was fed up with him sure I’ll believe he has good acting skill but to have the skill of a mercenary in the body of a rich second gen? It was too easy for him that sly fox.

i am curious about the OG body if his soul really did replace another or if he was just sent into reincarnation cycle because they weren’t really clear. If the petal made it so every version of you experienced that jump into a new world one of them would be dead bc MC was dead so would an innocent soul just be sent into the cycle for no reason or what? I did think it was cute how ML and MC were more or less fated to always meet even if the versions of each other were different.

The original female love interest isn’t a terrible person. And the same goes for the mc’s actual family. There is no “real vs fake young master drama”

I was a bit disappointed with the kidnap scene that he fake stabbed himself. I genuinely would have found it logical if he actually stabbed himself after he dislocated his own ankle earlier in the novel. A big part of me wishes that he had stabbed himself...
