It was a passing wish to the weary and tired Eugene and she’d not think it’d ever come to pass… but it did.

Queen Jin only sought and desired to see the destruction of this world — the villainess who met her untimely and miserable end at the hands of her husband, Kasser, the reigning king of the Fourth Kingdom.

While struggling to survive in the unknown world, King Kasser visited Eugene and demanded that a contract be fulfilled and come to fruition.

I had high hopes for this novel since the author was the same as Lucia. I can't help but compare the two books if you want to read a similar book to Lucia, then you're in for a disappointment

whereas Lucia is cool headed, intelligent and wise, this MC seemed so fickle. She had spent so many days in the castle and she still hasn't adjusted. She kept wondering why it was different from her novel and just when she had concluded that what was happening was different from her novel,... more>> she will once again wonder why it was different from the one she wrote. Like gurl haven't you noticed a pattern already?? Instead of sitting there wondering what will happen, how bout you do something to figure out what is exactly going on? Or do something about your position? She knows she will get killed but instead of doing something about it, she's just waiting for it to happen. I read somewhere that the MC was allegedly determined to change the Villainess' fate but so far, nope. She doesn't seemed so commited nor determined to do anything

eventually she decided to actually be a good queen and help out her husband while he was risking his life. But then again returned to the indifferent why is my novel not like how I wrote it dilemma over and over again. Why cant you make up your mind?

ML was pretty good since he is a hardworking individual with a good sense of responsibility plus the usual ML package. The slowly falling in love was promising but it is only the ML who is actually progressing. The plot seemed nice and interesting initially, but with the MC, I began wondering if this plot was indeed good or not. Idk if it will eventually become good, but I feel like it won't. It really thinned out my patience. I wish I had enjoyed this as much as the others but for the life of me I cannot comprehend how they enjoyed this

just read this as a smut and not for the plot. Unlike Lucia where it had a good plot with many twists and turns despite a slow and gentle pace. This one is just about an annoying mary sue character who had the luck of landing herself a yummy husband and a great s*x life. I wish there's more snusnu moments since it is the only redeeming character of this kind of novel. <<less

It's really a slow burn and every chapter just adds many questions instead of answers regarding the story plot.

Story wise, it's not that well engaging. But the smut chapters is, like the Lucia novel, on-point. Maybe because at this point in the novel the MC and ML still don't have a decent conversation where we can get that "oooh I can see the sparks flying" scene. Still looking for that oomph factor to get the hooked 100%. The characters of the ML and MC are a little too bland for... more>> me.

Kudos to the translators tho, they are doing a great job translating the chapters. You can get a clear picture of what's happening.

So far, the story is pretty good and interesting. As of now, the chapters are just focusing on the MC just getting used to the new world and the ML is still in the process of warming up to the MC so there's not much romance going on.

What irks me is that the MC transmigrated as villainess in a novel she wrote herself yet there's not much information regarding the villainess before she transmigrated. Also the story doesn't give off the "transmigration" vibes?? I guess since there's no significant character... more>> in the book that makes an appearance yet. The story is probably gonna get better as more chapters get translated tho.

okay I read the newest chapter and I now understand why she doesnt remember anything about stuff. So I now understand and like the story more. Lmao guess it was wrong of me to speculate that early on ?

anyhow, I notice that the MC doesnt actually have a plan?? Like at this point in the story she still hasnt done anything notable and the direction shes going with isnt clear. Like sure theres some progress with the ML and the people around her but not that much with the mystery around the original owners identity (and its already chapter 62). So I kinda expect that the story is going to probably reach 150 chapters.

i still like the story though and im waiting for more chapters to get translated. (Also props to the translator (s) ? Theyre doing a great job) <<less

This story remembers me the world of dune. There is desert and big worm who try to eat you. Also humans here use them as resources in dry season. The pace of the story is low but the smut ? Definitely happen. The female lead transmigrated to that world into the villaines' body so it difficult for her at first. The heroine is smart she take his time to figure it out what to do. In the mid time de male lead fall in love whit her. So is a... more>> interesting reading. Give a try you are not going to dissapoint.

I should say... That photo + R-18 tag got me hooked

But more than that, I really liked the author's literary style. Altho as Loosergirl's comment said, we get less plot each chapter but for me, it's not a problem as the style suits my taste and the quality is guaranteed. ?

And as a thirsty h0e and novel enthusiast, I appreciate the style specially in the steamy parts as it doesn't leave me feeling like a sc*m of the earth for enjoying this meal

As for the plot, theres not much... more>> shown yet so I can't really write a review for now. But, the curiosity of the past queen sure piques my interest and serves just right to be a driving force to continue on reading (plus the smut and dad*eherm* king Kasser)

Its because of the steamy prologue I got hooked I didnt know it was from the same autor of Lucia... now im dying to finish this story...I've read Lucia 3x LoL... so im looking forward for the development of the story

the plot was sure slow, but trust me. The more you read it the more it become interesting. The truth and mystery was starting to reveal itself and I presume it wont long to reach the ending now. Ah ofc, big applause for the translator, it was such an exquisite translation.

I was disgusted on that part where when the king is yelling and being angry with her, all she did was to be mesmerized by it's eyes. My gosh? Is it one of those oggly girls who sees only the physical thing of the ML and not the attitude. I seriously considered dropping it. Like her character is very bland. There's nothing special to her and I find her s*upid and acting like she knows what she's doing but she's only making it worse. If any sane person was in... more>> her place, her act should not be like what she acted.

I'm starting to dislike it but for Lucia's sake which is one of the best read I've had, I'm still willing to give this another chance. We'll I'm still in the early chapters and there seems to be a mystery with the MC past. I hope it will not disgust me again. <<less

As I am a very impatient potato, I couldn't resist. I just went ahead and read the spoilers for this.

And I just wanna say, 'Reading the spoilers was both a Blessing and a Curse!'

Honestly, no matter how much I already know how it's gonna end, it just doesn't, DOESN'T fail to surprise me every. freaking. time! I know this author had a knack for foreshadowing with their work Lucia. And I'm telling y'all that Lucia was one of the greats for me. But hear me out. I can't believe I'm... more>> saying this, but Living As The Villainess Queen is much better than Lucia. The foreshadowing, the interactions, the mysteries, every characters, even the extras have depth and the. freaking. world. building. is just *mwah!* The tiniest bit of details set up in the earliest chapters are being paid off bit by bit throughout the story, that details that didn't make sense at first start to fit the bigger puzzle perfectly! And I think I'mma just cry... It's so beautiful~

I actually wanna buy the hard copy. In fact, I'm trying to seriously learn Korean now because I wanna read it in its original form...

Every chapter updated always makes my day, and I can't thank the translators enough for being such godsend angels for impatient and poor potatoes like me. 😌 <<less

I liked the whole idea of the story and the smut is AMAZING!!! I love itttttt

... more>> however I hate the way she acts so clueless to everything, like she supposedly wrote the novel why she does not know ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!! It’s so annoying and it makes no sense

I mean she does not need to know EVERYTHING but at least she should know 90 or 80% of the story and the plot since she wrote it

I also read someone comment saying that she she gave her child custody to the King,

Some might think that this just another "Reincarnated/Isekai" thing wanting for revenge or to live a peaceful life, or another "Lucia" novel again (because it was written by the same author) but you're WRONG!

This is a whole different spectrum. Most were confused at first but I think so otherwise, it was probably set that way to arouse the curiousity of the readers in different way.

The characters and plot have no such resemblance to the author's previous works. The only thing that remained the same is the author's values that mirror... more>> the characters, a strong minded FL and a wise ML. <<less

Riveting! The characters aren't one-dimensional as in many other novels about rebirth and reincarnation. They adapt to the situation and make reading extremely enjoyable. Kudos to the translators and editors :)

Very interesting and very sexy.

MC is quick witted and has amazing chemistry with ML but the story progresses pretty slow, at least there be more happy MC and ML moments.

Also annoying that she is very forgetful of a story she wrote.

some of the characters are different from what she wrote because she not inside a book story but because she's in a different world that she happened to write about. How you may ask she wrote about it? Well it's because she's the original bodies owner so shes linked to it, when she was a kid someone stole her body and she grew up in modern-day but now shes back into her old body which she finds out when she meets heard real parents (didn't have a good relationship with her modern-day parents)

One of the best novels I've read. The plot and characters are both so interesting you'll not get bored. Lucia fans will especially like it. The translation's also top notch. I'm especially looking forward to our two lead characters' development since they had a rather rough start. I'm also really looking forward to knowing more about Jin Anika. Despite being a villain she looks like quite an interesting character.

If you think the cover is hot, then wait until you've read the prologue. Whew.

As of chapter 24, there's still not much going on yet, but we're definitely getting the smut very soon lol.

So far, the plot and characters are all good. I still have a lot of questions about the story but I think they'll be answered soon enough. I'm looking forward to this.
