Xie Yang struggled in the post-apocalyptic world for many years until he was too tired to go on. Then he transmigrated into a young adult entertainment circle novel where the protagonists have easy, sweet, and satisfying lives.

The male protagonist of the novel is not just handsome and smart, he’s also reborn. The female protagonist of the novel is not only beautiful and works hard towards her dreams, she also has a cheat in her hands.

There’s a lot of male and female supporting roles, each having pretty face, nice figures and someone strong behind them. Get into any one of their bodies, and he could close his eyes and just enjoy life. But he didn’t. Instead he transmigrated into a young idol secretly married to the biggest villain of all — the male protagonist’s maternal uncle.

His title is husband but it’s more like a nurse. Because this novel’s biggest villain is a terminally ill patient who is gloomy and sick in the head (actually sick). Their marriage was to counter the bad luck (illness).

Cute story with loads of dog blood and great translation.

This story is for those who don't mind drama with a super OP protagonist (to the point it's illogical), so OP that everything is a smooth ride, that is also covered in sugar (relationship between MC and ML is very sweet).

That part was honestly a con for me, but I really enjoyed the relationship between the MC and ML, their dogfood was delicious so I was able to continue.

I might even re-read this story for the dogfood in the future.

this was my second bl novel after reading the first one nd not liking it at all.... but this novel was surprisingly good, I really loved how they dealt wid each situation and all the face-slapping and revenge was really satisful and they had a bit of realism in it and was not overbearing at all. haha the character of the ML was so cute and the MC nd mls interactions are really fluffy and not cringey at all 8.5/10

If there's one thing I don't like, it will be the ability core phenomenon. I actually don't quite understand what happened on the love system at the end. It's quite confusing.

Aside from that, I like how MC didn't overly involved his supernatural ability in his career because he's already competent himself. I'm glad that the author/s didn't pave the path in that way.

This story is really really good. They are the power couple. And I think it is refreshing and different from other similarly genre novels. They learn how to love, how to live, how to cherish. And I love how both of them complete each other, and the gong is not the typical overbearing CEO This is seriously one of the best novels I've ever read ❤️.

I really liked the novel. MC and ML's relationship was enviable. What I liked the most about this novel was the ML, he wasn't the typical overbearing CEO with hardly any emotions. He was insecure, afraid and timid cause he was going to die but after being stimulated he finally confessed to MC. Their emotional journey was so beautiful. Although here are a few plot holes and MC is to op I still liked it.❤️❤️

This was one of the best novel I have read. There was substance, life lessons and happy ending.

Xie Yang was a clever, brilliant and loveable MC. He's the perfect combination of smarts and dedication.

On the other hand, Qiu Xing our ML was the perfect example of a person who struggled to live but was still able to love to his heart's content.

The author and translator did a great job with this novel. Thank you very much.

Didn't read this for quite awhile because I thought it would be another typical thigh-hugging comedic relationship that is fun to read but nothing special. Instead, I got a passive aggressive care and love for each other which was such a different type of sweetness that the moment their feelings started to change, I was hooked. Their feelings for each other was really subtle but progressively increasing with sweetness each time. The playful teasing was even sweeter. It was really so sweet that I wanted to cry. MC was... more>> super cheeky while being competent and skillful. ML wasn't quite your typical big bossman who spoilt MC unconditionally either. He's a slight tsundere, but not in the typical over-exaggerated way. Instead, it felt like a man who was afraid to love, and who was loved for the first time and too awkward and shy to know what to do. Gosh, the sweetest cuties, the two of them. The angst was predictable (about ML's illness) but it was still equally heart-breaking. I cried quite a bit at the end. This story is really the showcase of the wedding vow "to continue to love each other in sickness and in health". There were no coercion, nor were they forced together by the plot. The plot gave them the chance to get together, but they had the choice to leave at any time if they wished. Instead, they got to know and understand each other, and fall in love with each other.

Theoretically, the family drama is pretty back-stabby, but the plot didn't dwell on it and it was just used to progress the timeline, so for me, it didn't feel very dogblood, so I had no issues with it. In fact, I thought the way it was written was pretty clean and refreshing.

Overall, freaking beautiful story, definitely one of my favourites and I'll be back to read it again. Please read it! <<less

Couple of months later and I'm back to read all over again. Going through their conversations and interactions, I always found it obscure. At first I thought it was sad because they were just because they're both convenient. Now I realise, the author may have never blatantly said what the characters were feeling behind their words, but each sentences and phrases they exchanged were full of feelings for the other, albeit kinda odd and tsundere-ish. It was sad because they both cared but still tried to maintain distance. Of course... more>> it wasn't so at first, but I loved seeing the change with their interactions.

Speaking of tsundere, I was never a fan of tsunderes as shown in animes. Bluntly, I hated anime tsunderes. But assuming (I'm not entirely sure) that tsundere does mean having a harsh mouth but a marshmallow heart, then both MC and ML are the only tsunderes I'll ever accept in my heart. UwU

MC and ML are definitely what appealed to me the most in this novel. It's like they found the epitome of perfect balance with logic and emotions. I love them.

Sacrificed my sleep just to binge read this novel within 2 days. The face slapping’s a bit repetitive but it’s still addicting to read about it. I’m so happy with how the story ended. They’ve been through a lot.

It's really well-written and the concept was good.

But I think the main highlight of this novel is how the main protagonists gradually fell in love with each other and supported each other all the way.

It seems really sincere and just more true.

To be honest I don't normally write reviews but I saw a lot of negative reviews on this novel that are misinforming. This is mostly due to the reviewer not finishing the novel yet before reviewing which is normal and understandable.

The key part I want to mention is that all the things you will probably get confused about in the novel is explained completely by the end of the novel. It is a HE (happy ending) novel as the author explains so you dont need to be scared to pick... more>> up this novel.

There is loads of fluff and also a lot of background psychological thriller type stuff. I say background because although it is a decently large part of the plot it doesnt focus heavily on it in a very good way that leaves the novel both fluffy and heart pumpingly captivating. There are loads of face slapping events and as some reviewers said it can feel repetitive but it has a reason as to why it is like this and I suggest reading to the end to find out.

I think the author of this novel is amazing and that this novel is well thought out and well paced. Both the plot and the love aspects are paced perfectly.

The love is semi-slow burn but filled with enough fluff in between to keep your undivided interest in it.

10 out of 10 I will definitely reccomend. <<less

It's a very fluffy story, their interactions are very natural and cute. It was gradual and not something that happened in an instant.

I love both MC and Ml, it's one of the mature relationship where they have their own flaws, but willing to tolerate and discuss, there is no toxic relationship here.

I also like the fact that some characters might seemed like the usual Cannon Fodders, but they grew a brain and they have their own agenda that is not entirely pure even though they are on the MC's side.

What I seek in fantasy is escapism and fun. This novel has plenty but it is also a fantasy that's grounded and not exaggerated. For e.g. abilities are not your magical solve-all tricks. In fact, author likes to contrast real talent v/s ability-enhanced talent as demonstrated by MC v/s Mu Zhouyi. MC had to rely on his talents, skills, hard work and a lot of scheming to achieve anything. I liked that MC is as manipulative and harsh as the villains in order to progress. He is certainly not an... more>> innocent or naive person... after all, he is an apocalypse survivor. He is a hardened, smart individual with many talents, and it shows. The author goes into a lot of details about the setting, the abilities, the business matters, the family complications, the entertainment industry and also character and relationship development.

What I loved the most in this novel was the interactions between the 2 protags.

I think Qiu Xing can be awarded the title of "Cutest Tsundere of the year". Sometimes tsundere characters can annoy readers but not Qiu Xing. The beauty of this novel is in the little details... the funny bickering between the 2 protags... their little interactions that betray their real feelings and emotions... the subtle behaviours and dialogues... the teasing words between them... Qiu Xing being a timid, sneaky and adorable little 'mouse'... how they help each other out in so many ways... how they protect each other... you feel all that love between them, especially once Qiu Xing got over his 'coward' attitude, decides to undergo surgery and reciprocates Xie Yang's love 100%. <<less

It's really sweet once they are finally together they are such an amazing couple and I love how they take care of Qiu Xing's mother together haha I'm not crying

Edit: I just finished it. It's a really good novel and I love the way that their relationship develops and the way they grew up, especially Qiu Xing, from being really "tsundere" to finally being a little more open and brave with their relationship, it's really sweet, easy and quick to read, I finished it in like 2 days.

Compared to other... more>> relationships in BL I would say they have a healthy relationship (?), it took some time for them to be together, but they love, respect and want to protect each other. <<less

This novel became one if my favorite....

I really enjoyed their sweet relationship and plot a lot...

I really like MC boldness here lol, and he is cunning like fox. So clever and cute..

And ML is such a tsundere, and he was so cold and rude at first but later he becomes soft bean for MC.

Seriously this novel deserves lot of appreciation..

Highly recommend to read.. It is really worthy of time..

It's not bad but neither is it good. I think someone commented 'it's average'. In other words it's a lower quality version of other novels.

No lie I did get drawn but a major factor in that was nostalgia and boredom.

The premise was promising we have a character......

for those who want to read this. I'm about to tear it ups little.

    • A hypocrite by all means> regarding the nephew in earlier chapters> he says something about not being able to do a thing without the uncle. Whilst he's in no position to talk.
    • His past is basically never brought up~How can we relate his random behaviour to his character. A know it all, with a taste for humiliating others.~he's in league with the Fl

      -Since when does being in the apocalypse give good business skills or make you a pro at piano. If u were a past pro, then practicing would make sense. ~but lazy writing
    • Being sold at the beginning is brushed off> and why him or the person he embodies??
    • His character is wooden~ no drive, no depth, no charm, not relatable. AND NO GROWTH for anyone in that matter... only changed opinions?
    • He doesn't have friends (only useful people)
    • He knows too much about the so called 'villains' family and that fact is brushed off~lazy writing
    • He gets involved in family arguments, which shouldn't be his business, but it's seen as charming.
    • In a better novel his character would no different than the female lead
    • Thanks to his lack of depth we don't know who our main character truly is. We Only know what he wants. How can I root for that? Greed is a sin too?? ~ Now if he was a villain by all means continue - but a problem comes when he thinks he's ('more noble'-my words) than FL who lacks the same depth.
Then again I haven't finished it but almost half way through and I just see a wooden character who moves and talks

Alsoooo how can you fail> face slapping, even that is subpar. ~~

With a rewrite it's has potential. But like someone said previously. "Meh" If anything read it for the ML~whose probably going to be miraculously healed.

A saving grace would be I don't think it's trying to be pretentious at all. It set its limits from the beginning. It's a casual read>on purpose. It's good for passing time. There's no true threat nor a over the top story scale. A sprinkle of imagination and you could probably get through it.

I loved this novel. Read it again for 5 times already. The MC is smart and has the will to survive so he can get many things done the original couldn't. ML is very cute but sick in the head literally and need treatment. They get better in their interactions cause MC wants a fulfilling life in this new world and takes the initiative to have everything he missed in his Apocalyptic previous world.

As always there are problem s too with sone part, but nit to the point you would... more>> rewrite it. Maybe the 2nd novel I gave 5stars.

Very good. The MC is one of my faves in a BL novel as he is very calm and rational. Loved him. The ML was also written very good and was adorable at times. This is one of my favorite BL novels I've read and I hope to find more like this because this the kinda novel I enjoy reading. Lots of face slaps, no misunderstandings but a lil bit of drama to keep things spicy.

Very good! Both the MC and the ML were likeable characters, even the extras were well written!

I loved the band mates and other friends but I wish they got more screen time. After the beginning we hardly heard from the other bandmates. I would have liked more interactions between the MCs friends and the ML. The secretary was quite funny tho.

The ML is a bit tsundere at times but its quite cute, and the MC can show a cute side even though he acts strong.

I actually mtled the novel when... more>> it was only halfway translated and just finished rereading it again after it got translated and I honestly I would probably read it again after. The story doesnt get boring and is definitely something you can read more than once.

The MC isnt overly OP but he was able to get through his problems quite easily.

I liked the interactions between the main couple, , , very good dog food! I also liked how neither of the characters hid the relationship even though they were celebrities, and I also liked how ML always supported the MC, even though the MC didnt need help most of the time.

Overall a very good read! This is probably in my top 10 reads. <<less

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! One of my top 5 favourites.

Wow, this story was sooo unexpectedly great. A true gem.

... more>> Of course, it has such high rating but it wouldn't be the first time I came across a 4.5+ rated story that I personally thought it was only worth a 3/5 or even 1/5.

A few things in reviews that first made me reluctant to read this story were:

1) Tsundere ML

I like the strong and confident type. And often dislike tsundere MLs as 95% of the times they are just unreasonably immature and deep down insecure considering their position and age. But wow... Totally loved the ML here!! In this story it does makes sense and the tsundere trope actually worked well here.

2) Weak, timid ML

I was afraid ML was weak (due to sickness) and I wasn't sure it sounded appealing as MC was a super strong character. But rest assured... ML is as much OP as ML was, but just when it came to romance he was shy, timid because he lost hope and belief he could survive. He basically was prepared to wait for death and that was also the realistic outcome if it wasn't for the MC and his 'tricks'. Character development was so good. ML's transformation was like of a butterfly. The sickly, physically weak, closed off man that was so well depicted in first part became a strong, handsome, adorable henpecked hubby!

3) Slowburn.... Like the tsundere trope I really disliked the slowburn trope, because 8 out of 10 times it isn't executed well and used by author just to artificially drag the chapters and unnecessarily frustrate the reader (my humble opinion). I really didn't feel like reading a story where 2 people dance around eachother whilst most of times a good conservation does the trick.

But in this story the slowburn just works so well and makes sense!! Also, MC is always very clear what he wanted, so it wasn't those kind of draggy slowburn stories. Plus, the author offers plenty plot development to keep it interesting. In the 1st part of the story, the slowburn part, the focus was also less on romance. The author did this really well. A slowburn romance story when there is nothing more than the romance to read about is truly terrible.

I'm sooo glad my curiosity won and started this story! I read the final chapters very slowly, because I didn't want it to end. I will definately reread!

PS: only 1 thing that I found pity...
