Xie Yang struggled in the post-apocalyptic world for many years until he was too tired to go on. Then he transmigrated into a young adult entertainment circle novel where the protagonists have easy, sweet, and satisfying lives.

The male protagonist of the novel is not just handsome and smart, he’s also reborn. The female protagonist of the novel is not only beautiful and works hard towards her dreams, she also has a cheat in her hands.

There’s a lot of male and female supporting roles, each having pretty face, nice figures and someone strong behind them. Get into any one of their bodies, and he could close his eyes and just enjoy life. But he didn’t. Instead he transmigrated into a young idol secretly married to the biggest villain of all — the male protagonist’s maternal uncle.

His title is husband but it’s more like a nurse. Because this novel’s biggest villain is a terminally ill patient who is gloomy and sick in the head (actually sick). Their marriage was to counter the bad luck (illness).

I wanted to rate 4.5 stars, but no halfs it seems, so 5 it is.

It's a cute story. Slow-ish burn romance, as the first part of their relationship is a contract marriage type. But once it's a real relationship, it's so cute!

CUTE CUTE CUUUTE~ 💕💞💕💞 I absolutely adore the interactions between the ML and MC, they're interactions arent just the boring old doting and the male lead isn't only made for loving the male lead, no offense to any story that is like that, but the male lead actually has personality and feels the repercussions when he does something the MC doesn't like besides from not having s*x. In fact, the Male lead is so shy and cute he can barely even hold the MC's hand lmao and while the MC... more>> doesn't seem to actually like the male lead and seems kind of indifferent, you can tell he likes him by the little things like pouring food for the Male lead first and always texting a and answering him even before answering anyone else (unless the Male lead is being a coward and pissed him off lmao) and mind you, they do get jealous of other people and the male lead is a pure tsun-tsun~ which is pretty funny and cute haha <<less

Really liked the novel. The ML Qiu xing is really cute. The interaction between QX and XY is really lovely (specially the way XY teased QX ;))

Also XY is not cruel like other leads. He didn’t destroy his rivals directly. He gave all of them a chance to correct themselves. This alone makes this novel different from other face slapping novels. There are no cannon fodders, only protagonists and antagonists in this novel. ^_^

Oh my god my heart is full of fluffs! The story is so amazing with a solid plot. The MC is so shameless and op but he never give me a 2nd hand embarrassment moment. The ML is an absolute tsundere cinnamon roll little mouse. They both deserve to be happy and have an easy life after all of the shits that they came through!

I love that not everyone is brain dead and dumb cannon fodders. The main villain is a true psychopath because damn, really cunning and calculating! The... more>> greedy relatives and business rivals aren't the type too to think about mu*dering them even tho they are evil in their own ways. The supposed to be mini villains aren't bad at all and even have a character development, aside to some who are inborn scums.

Mu Zhouyi also doesn't seems like born evil and b*tchy. She may have some bad thoughts but not to the extent of doing it. But the moment she obtained the system, she started doing evil things. Proves that the system do corrupt her mind because when MC purify her mind with still has the mark of the system, she finally became clear minded and cared about her father that she basically abandoned when the system took her over.

Feng Qinglin is really cute too haha. He's just like his timid uncle. He also basically became Qiu Xing and Xie Yang's child lmao. Too bad he's single 'til the end.

It's just regretful that Mother Qiu didn't get to witness their wedding but relief because she said goodbye happy and comfortable. If not because of her, Qiu Xing and Xie Yang will not meet each other.

It's really amazing too that the author also somehow show us the reason of apocalypse in the MC's previous world and why he's reborn inside the novel. The system is like a parasite destroying worlds that it goes through if being continually used. MC basically saved the current world he's in when he destroyed the system that occupied Mu Zhouyi.

Wow. This is a very heart-warming novel. Here, we have a very smart and OP MC and a tsundere and kind-hearted ML. I just love these 2. Their dynamic is one of the best out there. Definitely recommended!

Xie Yang transmigrated from an apocalyptic world to a peaceful modern world where he met Qiu Xing. Though their relationship started off as a transactional one, they slowly fell in love with each other. XY was always there for QX, especially during his treatment where XY played a huge role in getting the ML back to health. They shared both hardship and happiness together. Their love is so wholesome that I can't help but cry a little at the end where they finally get their sweet ending. With that said, the novel is not heavy with angst and there are many cute and sweet moments.

Really enjoyable story for those who want romance without dog blood drama but want some plot that develops during the story while enjoying the romance.

The only disclaimer is that MC is really OP and some might not like it right off the bat. I also don't like ridiculously OP MCs but the writing and the use of his incrdible powers wasn't really annoying at the end. It just made you worry less about the drama and focus more about the relationship between the MC and ML.

They of course start with... more>> slow romance since MC is more focused on setting himself and make money in a new world after suffering the apocalyse previously.

Our ML is just a big tsundere overbearing president lol. So he's a bit slow to be honest with his feelings. I'm also not attracted to tsundere's being a tsundere myself but what made it work for me was how the relationship between these two worked out and I just ended up learning to love ML witnessing how MC just started to care and understand him.

The balance between drama and fluff is just right for me. The right amount of fluff not to make it boring sweetness but also the right touch of drama that it isn't dog blood with misunderstandings all over the place.

The ending is really satisfying. There's time to digest the ending and you fill so soft reading it. I hate rushed ending right after everything is solved so having these extras without also making it long finishes the story nicely.

There're some things I found unseloved about the background of the MC and how he obtained his powers or his past life because they only mention he was a composer/producer? It might irk some people but I just ignored some of those because it didn't bother me while reading

Recommended to read! It's sweet and nice and has light angst in it but not to make you suffer. This is HE (happy ending) so don't worry about the future and read it comfortably. <<less

You are missing out on a Good Story. I really put a review but felt I should write it after reading the story.

it is a sweet story filled with fluff. it is really sweet the way the chemistry of both ML & MC is shown. just remembering makes my heart beat fast...

One of the few books which I have reread so many billions of times. Both ML and MC are awesome and their chemistry is over the roof.

Loved it.

Although there are not many big plot twists, the world building was very well done and the translation was good too.

A true gem in the BL novels.

I was immediately fascinated by the storyline. The MC's background when he was still in the apocalyptic world was not explored deeply. This world is more focused on the present and the antagonists are something. (Especially once the origin of the original female lead's system is learned)

I adore this novel, specifically the two main leads. The MC is smart, calculating but not ruthless despite coming from a apocalypse world where killing should be normal. He is also very caring and supportive towards the ML, working until exhaustion just to make the recovery process easier for the ML. The ML in turn, despite being a tsundere, loves and cares for the MC just as much. This is a refreshing one showing the main character take charge for once and be proactive about the romance once he figured out that he was interested in the male lead.

Okay into the downside: Now, the downside is that the plot loses shape the more it goes on. In the beginning it was mostly MC starting up his music career which is fine, then changes to foiling the heroine and her system which is still fine, but after that came a "love rival" of sorts and loses touch with it's original "music industry" plot. <<less

I've just finished reading and I'm really in love with this job! I have so many emotions. This story has won my heart once and for all! I will definitely re-read it in the future ^^ There are very smart main characters here, there is logic here, there is a backstory here, there is moderate sugar here. It is such a bittersweet ride to witness how our leads' relationship grows from stranger to lover, especially when they were still in their subtle ambiguous stage. Qiu Xing's struggle to be brave enough to love hidden beneath his seemingly half-hearted attitude and Xie Yang's own desperate need for his lover recognition concealed by his pride and harsh words. Sometimes I wish for Xie Yang to be a little bit soft-spoken and Qiu Xing to be more honest with his feelings. But then maybe it won't be the Xie Yang... more>> and Qiu Xing we know anymore.

The relationship between the leads and power struggle among the riches are written quiet well. But I think it can be tightened up to be more impactful. Such as choosing one image to represent Xie Yang, just like how Qiu Xing's brand is Rongding's chairman from the top of the top Qiu family. An idol young master turns musician turns actor that's also the chairman of entertainment agency and acting chairman of Rongding is really too much, even for someone who's survived through apocalypses.

For the villain, rather than adding Tao Yang, I think it might works better to somehow makes Mu Zhou Yi come back stronger as the final enemy. She has a better villain character building than Tao Yang.

There's one more character that makes me feel Super Annoyed: Xie Yang's new agent, Qin Cheng. I kind of hate the way he keeps forcing Xie Yang to work. You might say that's what agents do, but Xie Yang's legal husband is going to have a brain surgery (I repeat, Brain Surgery) and what his agent worried about is Xie Yang's fame and career plan. I was really disgusted. With some twist, this hateful guy (ha!) would actually make a decent obstruction between Xie Yang and Qiu Xing's relationship. (Imo, he already did. Hmph!)

One thing I struggled with is the way Xie Yang keeps lying to not impact Qiu Xing's condition. I can't handle lies in relationship, not even a white lie. But because Xie Yang repeated distress and worries for Qiu Xing, I'd make myself tolerate it.

And because this included many of my favorite tropes (arranged marriage, fake/pretend relationship, age difference) and well written, there goes my five stars. Wish our mices happiness! <<less

I avoided reading this novel many times because I don't like overbearing president type and I though ML would be one when I read a few first chapters but I was wrong. ML is a tsundere who is being teased by MC all the time. He's so cute!!! I give 5/5 for his cuteness.

It's long but doesn't overstay it's welcome. And I honestly feel like there is so much here I could find more on rereading which I find very uncommon for me in danmei.

This story is about a face slap to the dog blood story of a female MC who uses a system to retrieve the value of love. The reason the female MC is turned into a villain is because of the system, the love value system is actually a system that takes life values ​​for from its host to feed the main system. This is my personal theory, because the system can cause side effects and affect other people's subconscious mind.

About MC and ML, MC is like most face slap novel... more>> MCs, too talented, too OP, at first I didn't like ML because he was too passive in relationships, but then I understood that because he was insecure about his situation and didn't dare to take steps to be happy because he thought he was will die.

What doesn't make sense is how the system can move from female MCs to male MCs. Also the ending, I don't understand why the designer became obsessed with ML, the background of the story is not clear.

I enjoyed this novel even more than I thought I would.

The system idea ended up being pretty cool, but not overwhelming. I liked it.

I also liked the gradual change in the relationship between the two. Afterwards I went looking for what else the author has written and I can't believe that this 'from an unbalanced dynamic to supporting each other on equal terms' relationship is written by the same author as Guardian. I found Guardian very uncomfortable to read, so I never considered reading any of their other works.

This novel is funny and cute! It was very entertaining and it had me on my seat for two days. ML's tsundere and MC teased him a lot. Their relationship is so fluffy! The plot is also nice!

This novel was overall great but there are two things that I want to point out. First is that no one was really surprised that Xie Yang was suddenly not like 'Xie Yang' at all (I'm talking about the original owner of the body). Second, the system, abilities, apocalypse, etc., wasn't really explained... more>> very well. Nevertheless, it entertained me and I love it very much! <<less

This has been in my 'to be read' list for a long time and I only read it now. Wished that I had read it sooner. I loved it. I am not speaking for everyone but to me this was a masterpiece. And the ML was so different from the typical 'rich, handsome and domineering' types. Then there was only a reasonable amount of faceslapping. The ability thing also had a satisfying ending.

I hope the author produces more works.

Saw this on a recommendation post. It’s just that I need some fluffy novels to read after reading YuWu. I can say, this is one of my favorites from now on. The gutsy shou and tsun tsun gong. I love them both.
