Xie Yang does get revenge when people wronged him or do something to him but if those people regret what they did or realized their place then he lets them go and even help them if he really wants them. He was a really nice MC and I liked him for that. He holds grudge but he also knows when to let it go. Even Mu Zhouyi, the female lead, he didn't go near her on purpose? Like he just goes with the flow but because of the power of Mu Zhouyi, he at least had to be cautious around her and not really be good to her, but he only did that cause she affects his own circle of friends/family. I just really like his attitude. It was kinda sad to not have an idea of how he honestly fell in love with Qiu Xing, he just did cause of how he was the first light he had when he transmigrated, it was nice but I wanted more from him that is deeper, I know that's pretty much deep but still, love is still a bit different from that.. U know what, I think he slowly fell in love with Qiu Xing during the times when Qiu Xing was being a coward, and I think it was just the right time when they did the deed. I like how his power was only used for his own personal agenda, like no needless hero time and all, he just used it cause he didn't want Mu Zhouyi to bother his life with her cheat and let people be used by her, and he only used it to help cure Qiu Xing and give comfort to mama Qiu. It was nice that his power wasn't a cheat that can treat the untreatable in one swoop. I liked it, and I like him. The only thing I didn't like was probably the fact that Xie Yang had no trouble going back to normal life? I mean how long did he even live in a apocalyptic world.. I always don't appreciate it when the authors just use sad backgrounds but doesn't let it affect the present cause they do, in reality. It always say that Xie Yang had dreamless night, , but why, isn't he scared that all of those were just a dream? That he would go back to that world someday? It's just to unrealistic how indifferent he was about the world he came from. It made him feel less real.. I still love him tho, him teasing Qiu Xing, how talented he is and all 🥰

He's lovable, not overly overbearing, he's the one who feels the most realistic -except for the fact that he doesn't want to eat Xie Yang everytime, like why don't you want it LOLL- although Xie Yang was really talented, he didn't let useless pride to affect their relationship, even though he seems powerless at times, he just accepts it and doesn't have any bad feeling about it, cause others do u know. I feel really happy for him in this life and feel so bad for him in the original novel, how wronged he made himself to be. It's nice that Feng Qinglin got his sh*t together (probably cause MZY is gone in his life). Qiu Xing is such a tsundere to others but so cute with Xie Yang, tho he always says words that are repetitive fr like, be obedient~ and I forgot the other hahaha, still love him tho.
