It's good but I think that it's rated to high. The novel itself is intriguing and endearing but some tropes that are used are plain awful and at other times you can only think to yourself the author is really feeling himself huh so it takes from the immersion overall I definitely reccomend this

To be honest, I was disappointed since I expected his character to be a little bit similar to Shunsui Kyoraku from Bleach.

It wasn't long before I realized he's 2D and that the world didn't feel alive.

The MC's character development? Nonexistent completely skipped not even a backstory nor reason for it.

Also, the fact he can easily accept things his "character" did in the past as if it was his own responsibility is pretty dumb tbh.

Furthermore, the fights are pretty boring and are just straightforward sword clashes like they don't even know the concept of fighting.

What about dodging, judging distance, using longer reach against your opponent, deflecting or even justcreating a fake opening to fool your opponent and im pretty sure what I'm saying are just basics in fighting. Considering like noone has proper footwork in this novel a Muhammed Ali would completely dominate this world (If you don't know Muhammed Ali's style completely changed boxing and showed how important footwork was in it).

Honestly, it's better than alot of Korean novels. Of course, it's not on the same level as ToCF or SSS-su*cide, but it has decent writing, decent fight scenes and decent plot so far. MC isn't cruel, but he isn't kind either. He doesn't kill people randomly but he doesn't save them either, like he just stands by as child is killed in the first chapter and then contemplates killing a child in the next chapter (for his power) since he's supposed to die anyway, then changes his mind when he he gets a prick of consciousness. From what I can tell, the reason for this is because he still sees the world as the game he created, he doesn't see people, only characters. Even recent chapters he wonders whether the world is real or if it's a game. The entire reason he is on his journey is so he can resurrect this god in hopes that they can tell him why he was brought to this world.

Overall, it's a good way to pass time if you have it, but it's not a plot that makes you wonder and theorize over. <<less

I don't get why everybody praises this for originality. It's pretty much the same premise as villain wants to live. Dude gets summoned inside the game he designed as a character with many many death flags. As for main character, it's the korean MC. Still dead people turning into swords sounds fresh.

I dislike it for two reasons. First Bard's Blessing is bullshit. It's a musical talent skill. Yet his supposed musical talent let's him cheat in dice games, listen far away conversations and translate intent of foreign languages.
