One of the best I've read, the MC is quite enjoyable even though very dense haha.

The story is has a very unique perspective which makes it very interesting to read.

But I stopped around chapter 55 as I couldn't handle the sudden serious psychological twistedness the story was taking, as it is not my cup of tea.

regardless the story, the pacing and development, everything is well put together.

if I had to say one thing that I found a little tiny insy binsy bit annoying, it was how the MC handled certain things like when he had to throw ML into the abyss he could've explained certain things (even if he said survive or live the message would've been given) to lessen the amount of hurt as it was clearly within his capabilities. I know it would've gone against the story setting but I couldn't think of any reason for him not to do so as he wanted to maintain a good relationship with ML. Even when he came back if the MC would've just mentioned the special sword's name, it would've have hinted towards that he had other reasons to throw ML into the abyss rather than hate. Again I know I'm being nitpicky, it just annoyed me a little bit.

Telling an addictive tale of a mentor, who, at the start of the novel is an unsuspecting reader that was transmigrated into a novel he was reading, and the protagonist.

The protagonist, Luo Binghe, was ab*sed by the original Shen Qing Qiu, the body the reader now possesses, and it was no wonder that he died by Luo's hand. Shen Qing Qiu, the reader, his mission, in addition to prevent his death, is to set the plot into motion so the things that happen in the novel still do, only in... more>> a different way.

The premise it's built on is a trope explored by many, but the mentor-disciple relationship here, in addition to the setting and the supporting characters, is brilliantly executed, as are all the others I'm sure, but they don't really call to me as much as TSVSSS does, of this trope I mean.

The comedic undertone present is infectious, as do all her stories make me laugh, and the development between the two is also real. As Shen Qing Qiu goes to painstaking lengths to protect the protagonist and is kind to him due to the paternal deprivation he experienced early on, naturally he would open up to Shen Qing Qiu. Though he would be a lot nicer if it weren't for the damn system interfering in the moments he (Luo) invites Shen to tell him what he really believes. This, naturally, makes Luo very angry, (who wouldn't be?) and so many misunderstandings occur.

The pacing is slow, sort of Slice of Life-ish, though there is action present, and drama and the time skips were necessary, who wasn't waiting for the moment Luo surfaces all handsome and grown, but although it is still too early to tell whether or not it would keep it up, based on what I've already read, I am very much loving it.

Also, hats off to the translators for meeting the deadlines and fast tracking it, I almost would've dropped it since I couldn't find any raws but I guess I could look forward to this each week. Thank you!

Again, if your not really sure whether or not you should read it's up to you, really, but if even one percent of your fibre says you should, go for it, see it through, and you might not really regret it. <<less

Definitely one of my favorite bl stories, so sad that it's going to end soon...

The characters are multidimensional, the plot twists are actually unexpected, the whole story is original! If you read bl but not this, then I don't know what you're doing with your life.
