A mature novel with twisted MC. Inside the MC reside two thought, a Korean civilian and the original villain who has severe symmetrical OCD. Both are influencing the action of the MC with the OCD as an absolute factor.

I personally don't like the MC. I also don't like how the story goes. But, the translator made a superb translation to get me hooked at the story.

I mean, objectively speaking, this story is so elaborate about the struggle in mental illness within that kind of society. Should I blame the translator... more>> for making the story interesting? I mean, if this is MTL, I can read and get bored. But, the translation does convey the story well.

Lol. I don't know anymore. <<less

This is one of the best novels with villain MC that I have ever read.

The MC is an absolute Chad villain. And even the heroines are great with real emotions. They add a certain depth to the story.

And as other comments have mentioned this novel is not for the faint of the heart as MC commits a lot of disgusting evil deeds.

I definitely recommend this novel to everyone who loves a villain MC.

This a very well written story.

The MC is smart, rational and kinda insane. He is restricted by the old characters condition of being perfect.

It's a little similar to The villain wants to live. If you liked that you'll also like this novel.

The characters aren't one dimensional bafoons. They're thinking for themselves what's in their best interest or to their characteristics. The world and story is slowly being set. Let's see where it takes us.

Basically what this novel boils down to is a Korean man's mind being dragged into a villain's body and essentially forced to watch a nobleman with mental illness reap the consequences of his past actions while striving for his own bit of happiness.

The "MC, " if you can call him that, doesn't really take an active part in the story.

As in- If the body of Ferzen is a ship, Seo-jin Lee is the Navigator, Ferzen himself is the Captain, and the mixture of the two is the Helmsman.

The most Seo-jin... more>> Lee can do is provide subtle or vague knowledge, of both the novel and Earth, to Ferzen so that he can change course by a few degrees, which over a long enough period of time can make the ship end up somewhere completely different.

Overall, the plot itself is a bit of a skim- Not quite like a summary-level of bad, but not very detailed/in-depth either.

And this novel is going to have a lot of s*x scenes.

A lot of s*x scenes that have more details than the story lmao.

So if you can't cope with the fact that you are going to be reading about a villain's life or you don't like s*x, then perhaps try another novel.

Otherwise, this is an alright read. <<less

A very good story you going to enjoy despite author focus in last arc on one girl and make her unbearable and ending is very unsatisfactory because of her, idk why all this bullsh*t about her when it's not MC fault her life sucks, author really done her badly and focus on her too much when there's other girls nonetheless it's enjoyable read

It’s a deeper dense drama than you probably expect, mixed with typical power fantasy tropes, with a constant melodramatic feel to everything. Complex characters, fairly simple plot arcs, good story telling.

Lot of bloat and filler, but that’s just part of the genre I suppose. Consistent above average quality, and a interesting story make me give it a 4/5.

Very interesting and compelling, but more of a moody, intellectual, type read. Not a instant gratification type you’d expect from the title. Adjust your expectations and be rewarded.

I've probably given it a generous score but wouldn't really recommend it. I guess if wanting a simple summary it's a messed up story with characters making very illogical decisions. It's never a ringing endorsement of a logical plot when you see people posting in chapter comments that they have no idea what's going on.

I think the OCD that some people isn't well applied. If anything it's just used as a plot device to attract hate to the MC. Thing that annoys me most is that MC apparently has Symmetry... more>> OCD but measures he takes to get to symmetry don't lead to a symmetrical outcome. It's also not applied universally with many unsymmetrical situations ignored so it's only used when author wants to make MC do something cruel to a heroine.

There's also a lot of self destructive behaviour from a lot of the characters. It's filled with toxic relationships with relationship with Lizzy being the worst.

It's a shame since at first it had potential with a villain facing off against protagonist. However once that was resolved I think it nosedived as it ended up being filled with abusive H scenes and interactions with the heroines that is a combination of stockholm syndrome and just needless cruelty/sadism. It's not even all one way as heroines are quite messed up too. <<less

The beginning is amazing, if you like evil MC! He's very well done, with believable reasons for the horrible stuff he does (which includes r*pe / mu*der / etc of innocents including his harem). He's also a proper noble, looking down on his lessers while taking care of his appearance.

Starting from the middle, it kinda loses focus and has way too much bad-anatomy smut imo... the real problems start to show from then, but still great until around the 200s. His OCD often just disappears until it would be comedic... more>> (wtf happened to only first girl not triggering??? Lots of other stuff too), and the general setting issues (one example: warlocks could be nukes, but are only used as necromancers for cannon fodder) get more and more noticeable as you go. <<less

Note that this novel has a lot of fkd up stuff, so if they may be triggering towards u, best to stay away. If u can read these with an open mind though, it was surprisingly good. The plots were all interesting, and characters are dynamic. This isn't to say there aren't caveats though.

The novel takes place with a Korean getting soul merged into the main Villain of a story he read. Their habits merged, and the original character's extreme ocd tendencies makes him screwed over into a eternal "villain".... more>> By the time he was Reincarnated, he already committed the hanous deeds and it is too late to fix / prevent them beforehand. He stands as a character which no1 would be able to understand due to his mental illness except with his brother. Though of course some plotholes could be spotted in these ocd behaviours as sometimes it's not triggered.

The biggest drawback of this novel is the amount of smut. I honestly thought I would never say this for a smut novel, but the main plot is so interesting it makes me stick here, but the amount of smut is horrendous, so much you'll find it repetitive and start skimming through it. Prob 35-40% of the content I read was R18 smut scenes. Lots which I skimmed heavily towards latter half.

One could also complain on lack of teaching / student side character content. As it is a smut novel, the author doesn't go into content about other side chars in his class other than 2 significant Female Leads in it. The only central male character we have constant interactions with is really just the MC's brother.

Despite wishing to know how the plot/story would end up, I decided to drop as smut content was too much. At times u could go through multiple chapters of one R18 scene... <<less

As someone who loves complex, morally gray protagonists, The Villain Who Robbed the Heroines has been an absolute treat to read so far. The story follows Ferzen, a nobleman who becomes possessed by a modern-day Korean after a freak occurrence. What ensues is a fascinating exploration of identity, morality, and the blurring of lines between good and evil.

One of the novel's greatest strengths is Ferzen's characterization and portrayal of his severe OCD centered around symmetry. Based on the author's own experiences, these depictions feel authentic and add remarkable depth to... more>> Ferzen's psyche and motivations. His cold, aristocratic demeanor coupled with his compulsions make for an utterly compelling protagonist who keeps you glued to the pages.

The world-building is also quite immersive, presenting a richly-realized feudal fantasy setting that feels grounded and believable. Ferzen's status as a magic professor adds an intriguing dimension, leaving you eager to learn more about the novel's magic system.

That said, the novel can be quite dark and disturbing at times, dealing with mature themes like r*pe and violence in an unflinching manner. While some may find this off-putting, I appreciated the gritty realism it brought to the story. The translation by Genesis Translations is also excellent, capturing the nuances of the original Korean prose.

All in all, for readers seeking something different from typical fantasy/isekai fare, The Villain Who Robbed the Heroines delivers in spades. With an enthralling antihero at its core and a rich, morally-gray narrative, it's a novel that keeps you thinking long after putting it down. I'm thoroughly enjoying this unique reading experience so far and can't wait to see where Ferzen's journey takes him next. <<less

This novel's author really doesn't care about the females at all. The MC of this novel is just a ho**y bas***d and just forces on his wife everyday to change her mind and author just justifies that every action done by him is right and it's really boring the long way as after wards it mainly focuses on the smut scenes rather than the actual plot and this novel really depicts female as nothing more than a breeding tools and they also doesn't play a big part in the story... more>> their only worth is to satisfy the MC and spice the readers which makes me think instead of a badass villain he is just a h***y man trying to satisfy all his desires in a male dominated world <<less

The Villain Who Robbed the Heroines depicts deeply problematic and unethical relationships. The main character is an abusive, controlling villain who blackmails and degrades the female lead. His behavior is inexcusable, even if partially explained by his OCD and motives of self preservation.

The so-called "romance" in this story appeals only to a minority that find ab*se entertaining. The way the female lead is treated is disgusting and turns her into a victim unable to escape. The main character gaslights her into thinking she deserves this treatment.

While the premise had potential... more>> to explore interesting psychological concepts like OCD, the MC has no redeeming qualities and it's impossible to empathize with someone so cruel. This novel romanticizes ab*se, misogyny, and coercion. The female lead is robbed of her agency and self-worth. Even if she consents, the power imbalance strips any notion of a loving partnership.

For these reasons, I cannot recommend this novel to any readers looking for a deep story filled with rich characters. At best, this is a guilty pleasure for degenerates. <<less

First and foremost this is not the type of novel where the main character reincarnated into the body of a villain and is actually a good guy who try to survive the misdeeds of the villain he ended as. No, this is a novel that takes that idea and makes it a good one.

If U r the type of person so morally just and righteous that U r unable to stand a fictional character doing morally questionable or bad things then best leave this novel immediately.

This novel explores villainy and... more>> the villain and its counterpart heroism. It's a fun read about Frezen and his little adventure as a villain

The translation is very good and consistent. The translators notes are also pretty fun read at every chapters end. Overall the novel got a very good translation and I would rate it 5/5 even compared to other good stuffs

The characters are the main focus of the story. First the MC is the villain (obviously) but not necessarily evil. He doesn't have misunderstanding tropes or hiding his true personality trope. He is blunt, eloquent, and true to his words. The way he has to hide his odc while trying to live like a normal person is the most entertaining aspect of the story (for me)

There are a total of 4 heroines as of now. The Princess he stole on first chapter, the busty cutie, the pisser, and the doggy.

I'm not gonna say a lot about heroines but they are all Hella fun in different ways. The way they interact with the MC is the main plot point (for now) and they are the main triggers that move the story. Their interaction with the MC is a pity minefield. They have their circumstances and the MC try His best to equalise, neutralise, or imbalance them so that he wouldn't end up like in the novel. For the MC it's like solving math problems one after the other and their conclusion is neither good or bad and is subjective and readers are free to interpret. Rn the TL is at the pisser arc.

Overall the characters all serve their purpose and the dynamic between them is nth but pure fun. 5/5

The story is well built. Follow typical set up with typical world building, not necessarily an interesting world or has interesting politics. One word to describe it would be " decent". It neither stands out nor hold Back the story so its overall okay. The way the powers are handled is pretty cool, especially the warlocks probably because of Frezen. It's has a lot of h-scenes, like a lot. These h scenes can be quite overbearing sometimes and well U wouldn't miss anything from skipping them anyway so it's fine to skip. 3/5 for story since it's rather mediocre.

This is a very character driven story. If U don't like the characters this novel is an instance turn off for most people, even if U like the characters the novel has lots of graphic description about r*pe, ab*se, mental breakdown and other uncomfortable stuffs.

If U r into dark and fun novels then give it a try. It doesn't have the tragic Story or force the dark elements of the story upon reader. Overall a very good novel that's worth a read even if U ended up not liking it as much.

Also the MC is definitely not a puppet made to fulfill the fetishes of the few. Try not to judge the book by cover I would say. <<less

Honestly came because of the synopsis, but after reading, this is genuinely one of my favorite fictional works. Personally I don't think it starts strong within the first 10 or so chapters but afterwards I'm drawn to the world and especially the characters and want to see what happens. I wouldn't however recommend this to most as many would still find much of what happens uncomfortable to read. The MC isn't a good guy, I don't mean "ends justify the means" or he's just rude to people. I mean that... more>> it's the morality and ego of a "average model citizen" mixed with the habits, tendencies, and nature of a villain. At best I would describe the MC as an anti villain. There's also a lot more s*x than I thought there would be and think that it does put the story on hold and wish they spent that time doing more world building instead. When the story is being shown however the characters and there dynamics is much more unique than past things I have read and make me hope that there would be more stories like this. But you know, with more story.

also the TL posts about her life in the end and honestly I've been enjoying her saga, but recently she's apparently being replaced. <<less

Hello there,

it narrates the story of a person who transmigrated into the body of a man who have some peculiarities (sadistic tendencies). The protagnist is not a good guy but he is brilliant, and the way he acts and behaves show a magnific development of character. How he interacts with the story and other characters is also extraordinary, every character in the story feels coherent and logical. I also have to praise the translator since the writing is nothing short of magnific.

The only downside I would probably point out... more>> is the enviroment which feels gray a times and with no much effort put into it, but since the forte of the author is by the development of characters this can easily be dismissed.

I will keep reading this novel for a while since it just keeps delivering, I give it without a doubg 5/5. I can only praise it.

he is a person who has some saddist tendencies and can kill without blinking. The protagnist is <<less

I recently stumbled upon this novel, and I must say, it has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. The story revolves around a villainous main character with a twisted personality, which is so brilliantly portrayed that you can't help but be drawn in. The protagonist is smart, rational, and even a bit insane, but his actions and decisions are shaped by the circumstances he finds himself in, and I find that aspect truly fascinating.

The world-building and character development are top-notch, making this novel stand out from others in the... more>> genre. The side characters, especially the heroines, are well-developed and have real emotions, adding depth and complexity to the story. As someone who enjoys dark, mature content, I appreciate the author's unflinching exploration of the darker aspects of human nature, even though it may be unsuitable for some readers.

While the novel contains explicit and disturbing content, such as the complicated relationship between the main character and his wife, the historical context and setting provide a unique perspective that makes these elements feel more authentic. The novel has been compared to "The Villain Wants to Live" in terms of its themes and character development, so fans of that novel may also find this one enjoyable.

One thing I particularly like about this novel is how the characters are multidimensional, with their own motivations and individual characteristics. They don't feel like one-dimensional caricatures, and their actions and decisions are shaped by their own self-interest, which makes the story even more engaging.

I recommend this novel to someone who enjoys adult, psychological, and smut genres, as well as dark storylines and villainous protagonists. It's a thrilling and captivating read that has left me eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Just be warned that it may not be suitable for those with a weak heart or who are sensitive to explicit or disturbing content. <<less

First, this is a mature novel (ofc) look at those h*rny tags. So this is not a novel for kid or weak heart, I warned.

MC:

Spoiler

Meet our protagonist, he's smart, rational, and a little bit insane. He inherited a body that belonged to a troubled individual suffering from OCD. However, after he becomes the new owner, his soul is merged with that of a Korean civilian and a fantasy villain. As he struggles with his mental illness, we see one of the most accurate depictions of OCD in literature. Beware, dear readers, the MC's ego dominates him from time to time, which may leave some feeling frustrated. This story is not for the faint-hearted.. This MC is likes Deculein from "The Villiain want to live", but this guy he wont ever change his way of life or his will, he will do anything to chase the thing he want by all cost.

[collapse]

Harem:

Spoiler

This is the downhill of this story. They hardly interact with each other, just badmouth in their head. But who cares, the smut is pretty good, the translator know how to do their work perfectly, they used fancy words to describe the snu snu (LMAO). They are girls with real emotions, you will like them.

[collapse]

World building :

One word, FANTASTIC.

Stories:

This novel is not shy to show the dark and unmoral things.

Last but not least, highly recommend. <<less

A very interesting take on a similar concept as "The Villain Wants to Live". Basically, bad guy is forced to act like a bad guy, but the way it's implemented is different:

Spoiler

In villain wants to live, the system actively discourages certain actions, and prevents MC from doing things, while here, he inherited memories and OCD, but isn't forced to act according to the system. Both MCs are also weak, yet strong thanks to their knowledge. I prefer Villain Robbed's MC way more than Deculein because of the system, which is more relatable. After all, a lot of people cannot fight their OCD.

[collapse]

Novel has very interesting character building rather than worldbuilding. We haven't seen much of the outside world, just the academy and wherever MC is headed to, and so far, a little hint of political plot, but all the characters have interesting backstories.

My favorite is definitely
Spoiler

when it's revealed that Yuriel was literally groomed to become his wife, but he rejected her, which explains a lot of their earlier interactions.

[collapse]
. I really like the feeling of "reverse foreshadowing (?) " where an interaction isn't explained at first, and then later on we discover the truth and everything that was originally mysterious suddenly makes sense: this novel does that very well.

All in all, highly recommend. <<less

This is in my opinion one of the most unique novel that I have ever read. Since, the MC genuinely is a crazy bastard. He does everything for his survival and for his deranged obsession with Euphemia. He is indifferent towards everyone he does not find useful. This novel also has one of the most correct depictions of OCD. This novel dark, so, I would absolutely not recommend this to people of an weak heart. This novel is not shy to have immoral and unethical things in it. But, these... more>> immoral topics are what makes this novel interesting. <<less

First of all, English is not my native language. I'm not confident to say I'm great at it, but I think my English is good enough to be understandable.

Now, the novel is GREAT and a MASTERPIECE. The genre is not my likes but for this novel it is the only exception. A villain MC with OCD is a great combination. I'm not gonna talk more about how great the novel. Read it and find about it yourself.
