Hahaha I love the hypocritical comment! We have tags, why did you read it in the first place ? And even finish the whole novel hahaha

the story was funny, spicy and fluffy. For me the overall rating it's 4 but I going to rate this 5. let me tell you my POV:

1. There's no in*est, they are not Blood related siblings

2. Is more of an in*est when they are cousins, even if is from maternal side, but when this plot happen in another CN novels nobody raise any kind of moral condemnation (double moral standard)

3. She transmigate at the age of 10, and thats when the attraction between them start, and they know already there's not Blood relation between them.

4. The beginning of the story it's kind of misleading, but it's obvious that the ML isn't her past life twin brother, the twin brother just help her to reincarnate and have a blissful life, they have a sort of connection like what she had with her former twin brother, but I feel it's more like a soulmate connection, because she transmigate with the help of the monk with 300 hundred years worth of spiritual cultivation and the brother still alive in the OG world.

I tried my hardest to finish this, but I couldn't do it at all. This story is bland at best. The FL is beautiful but crippled, ruthless and whips people she doesn't like. She's described as good at everything and have very good luck, like everything she touches turns into gold. In summary: OP MC. The ML is also cold and ruthless, elegant in bearing, very tyrannical, etc. Typical male lead.

Basically they were blood-related siblings in a past life and because FL donated her heart to ML, she died and ML did everything to make her reincarnate safely. Then FL got transmigrated into a novel, where her stepbrother is so much like her blood-related brother. Almost in*est, but not.

To be honest, I barely remember anything from the past chapters I've read, it was so bland. FL transmigrates into cannon fodder's body and impresses everyone, a Shu daughter that is always having one braincell and offsets the 'intelligent' FL (thankfully, it was only one), and the oriFL becoming just like this braindead villain with the exception of a little bit of luck in beauty and skills. Everyone was a flat one-dimensional character. Nothing stood out to me. And I can barely tolerate the FL, as her actions could sometimes even be deemed as petty, getting revenge on other people with the tiniest of grievances. And the selling point of the novel for me, the 'yandere' in the title (as I greatly love yandere MLs) weren't even fulfilled. ML is protective of FL, but not to the point of being called yandere. Just your typical cold ML falling in love. <<less

Not that good but I finished it. As always, chinese historical novels leave a bitter taste in my mouth with the pe*ophilia and sexualizing minors. How remorseful! Also, FL is very cringe ngl. On the surface, the novel makes you think woa she's cool and badass. But in reality, she's just another petty teenager.

The best doting ever!!

The FL is spoiled when it comes to her brother but is fierce towards others. The ML is very doting towards this spoiled FL. He was the one who taught her how to be fierce also.

Thanking the translators for translating it. Waiting for upcoming chapter.

Something is sloppy about this book, eotger it's the translation or the story. It has a lot of nice ideas from the get go but reading it leaves a person confused (with the intense need to scratch their head with a scraper and check if its the brain cells going dull or the book being sloppy).

Solid writing and translation. Eventhough the MC is a cripple, she is not bitter about it and the brother empowers her so she doesn't get bullied. The grandma also treasures her eventhough she's not their blood kin. She's actually spoiled by a lot of people, her grandma, brother, even by the royal family, but she's not rotten, just a little unruly and very frank..

It's an awesome story. The fluff is not icky at all even with the fakecest. Maybe because you know she's not with him since birth, and they... more>> both know they'renot really sibling. It's just that the ML is so intimate with the FL for an ancient man. She's very touchy towards him too. The poor maid, thinking they have in*est. Lmao.

I just wanna add that the og FL of the novel is delusional and greedy, the maonk already warned her she needs to be virtuois to get riď of her bad jinx but she still went on to do more sinister plot <<less

There's a lot of mixed reviews about this novel, especially towards the idea of in*est but I really love this story.

I know people are annoyed with the FL being too open and whiny towards her "brother" but she did say she was like that in her 1st life. Also, twins have a deeper connection than regular siblings, so her neediness is understandable (to me at least)

And the ML looking at her romantically is understandable because 1) the women get married young 2) other than his grandmother, she's the only... more>> one to care for him so much 3) she's always always had his back, even to the point of others having more respect for her (begrudgingly) & 4) he has known for awhile she's not actually related to him, so who wouldn't want to keep someone like that on their side?

Having said all that, there are a few things I personally wished were different.

1) she had closure with her twin she left behind

2) there was more of her amazing green thumb. It's a really cool "superpower" and I just want to see more of it.

3) (this may or may not happen) but I want her to have a good relationship with her actual brother. He's pitiful and has no one but still loves her dearly from afar.

4) the MLs mom to hurry up and get divorced/banished. I really can't stand her or her daughter.

This is Mango approved.

I went into this series with the very basic expectations but oh boy has it surprised me! For starters, the MC is a female with disabled feet who is used to them. And most importantly, she stays that way! So many series have disabled characters who manage to cure themselves some 30 chapters later. But here, we have the MC who has managed to stay a badass character while continuing to be disabled.

But why does this disability improve this series? For starts, the D R A M... more>> A !!! The stakes are now very new, very real, and very permanent. Everything happens for a good reason. Yes, there is a lot of focus on the looks of the characters and there could be a little bit of criticism of villains being villainous cuz why not, but I disagree to it.

Are there empty villains? To an extent, yes. But the age groups of the characters are apt for this type of petty disputes, and the story setting is apt for the kind of real consequences that follow up.

The male lead is basically a greek god, and he is kinda manipulated into loving her. BUT! It is more of a wooing by the female lead. More importantly, it is a very heart-warming relationship where he really cares for her. He is capable, and while he might seem one-dimensional at times, he is a good enough support for the female MC to storm all over the series.

When I talk about drama in the period setup, the characters themselves breathe new life into this tried and tested format. There is a very interesting reversal of ordinary troupes regarding the "real" leads, and in that regard, I have issue giving this series a good 4 out of 5. <<less

Speechless...I have been reading all historical novels with mostly FL... and I cannot not write something about this novel. What a great story. I was a little bored first several chapters but after that.... the story is so well written. The characters are all so well portrayed especially the FL and ML. The story itself is ingenious. It’s so different than what I’ve read so far. I adore the FL. One of the things I enjoy in this Novel is the unconditional love between our two protagonists. Despite their very deep attachment and scary love, as long as the two mutually reciprocated it will turn to be a fluffy one.

It just that, I kind of wanted to know about our mc's elder brother from her past life. And this reader was waiting for the author to explain the truth about MC and ml's soul connection.

Like maybe, mc's twin brother died immediately after their mother ripped out mc'd heart. Like they... more>> trully regretted their decision about killing MC in the end and their whole family ended up being destroyed by their own hands.

I wanted to know about that.

Well, anyway, over all. This novel is great.

Worth spending a whole day and night of reading!!!

Ahhhh this novel gave me diabetes lol

I looooove how not only the main characters have a happy ending, but also Yu Siyu and the Ninth Princess. Yu Siyu's character development was so goood. Also the Ninth Princess and Brother Shen were so cute together hehe

I wish I could have a love like Yu Xiang and Brother Yu. The progress from having a sibling-type of affection to a romantic type of affection was slow but beautiful. I also liked how the main heroine was so open-minded and brave that she fits... more>> the male lead perfectly.

Anyway, the villains deserved their end. It is better to redeem their sins by suffering a hellish life... <<less

I love the intricate plot details in this novel. The character setting and development is so-so, but the amount of details the author took to craft some arcs are quite noteworthy. The pacing is good and comfortable to read. Overall a very interesting light novel that can definitely picque your interest, but no yandere here.

Not too bad.

Considering the title, I expected the ML to showcase being an extreme yandere, however, both leads had fallen in love with each other long ago so the crazy possessiveness is diluted just a little bit.

The plot is pretty good but it's a shame that it had to be moved along by 2 extremely idiotic antagonists.

As for character developement, 2 side characters have improved but as the story centers around the "fake siblings" drama, the other side characters are more to serve as "interaction" to show their connections in... more>> the capitol.

Next, there's nothing to say about both the Leads relationship other than they die for each other and live for each other. Also, its fluffy.

However, the story does have it's flaws but they were pretty miniscule and didnt have much impact.

The first is the beginning bit. The author never addressed that again. The second is the translation. I don't know if it's the original author's mistake but it affected the world building quite a bit. Nonethless, as you continue to read it gets fixed up.

Aside from that it's pretty decent but not too outstanding.

The mtl is easy to read only if you are an avid reader of ancient Chinese stories and cultivation novels and recognize similar lines used in these stories.

If not then the terms will be confusing and it'll be a struggle.

First, this synopsis is a bit misleading because the MC didn't want to leave ML. I was hooked on this part of synopsis but then there's none of I-want-to_leave-but-you-don't-allow-me-to.

But this story is still good. I love the family. At first they didn't get along, but then the grandma start to turn around and even the shu sister. I love how MC is a strong and fierce girl even on wheelchair.

I don't really like how the transition on MC and ML relationship went. I thought MC think of ML as her... more>> twin brother in real life. I expect an inner conflict and the like, but there was only a little bit of inner conflict because MC didn' want to lose ML if one day their relationship as lovers don't work.

But yeah overall still a good read <<less

The title is deceiving.

First of all, the male lead is NOT a yandere. A yandere is someone who appears sweet and loving but whose affection is borderline destructive, possessive, brutal. Its either he/she switches personalities when triggered (one moment sweet, one moment ready to cut off your legs for trying to run away) or he/she is secretly psycho (e.g. Sweet to you but actually causes your problems so that you rely on him/her more.) That kinda crazy.

It is not someone who is loving only to one person and cold to... more>> the rest like what the male lead here is. The male lead here is pretty HEALTHY. He is not a yandere.

MTL is a bit hard to understand. I suggest waiting for translations. But if you do read MTL, its still bearable. <<less

A cute story with a good balance between plot and romance. The fake siblings romance is well done, rest assured both parties know they are not blood-related relatively early in the story. I appreciate how they developed a familial relationship first when she was younger, and how that slowly changed (for the ML first) as they grew older.

The characters are well-developed. The MC is intelligent and has no qualms about being in a wheel chair. She doesn't let her disability stop her from living the life she wants to, which... more>> is very admirable. The ML has a proper backstory and had to go through some suffering which added some depth. It starts off with him being the pursuer, but once the relationship is "established", we see the MC being proactive.

It's nice to how she seduces him on multiple occasions, and is always asking for hugs and kisses. Compared to usual shy/cold MCs, this was refreshing.

I decided to read this story on a whim. I was pretty interested after reading the summary, and I was looking for something that was relatively short and bite-sized. This story perfectly fit that description.

I gotta say. I really, really enjoyed this story.

The length of the story was the perfect amount, and our MC is extremely clever. She is straight forward, has a bad temper and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Her clear attitude is refreshing for those around her, who are so used to being entrenched in schemes... more>> and people wearing masks in society. In my opinion, it's not too surprising that she is able to garner the good attention of people like the Emperor and Empress, etc. Despite being transmigrated into an unfavorable position with her crippled legs, she is still able to turn an unfavorable situation around into something good that can benefit her.

Furthermore, the ability she has isn't really anything overpowering - it's just that she can grow rare plants really easily, a hobby she had in her previous life. She can has dreams of the future, but it's only related to her "big brother" which she also utilizes to her advantage. Everything else is just based on her own brains and hard work.

Furthermore, it's a rather quick read, which in my opinion gives it another bonus point because it doesn't drag things out for the sake of dragging them out.

Anyways all in all, it was fun to read for me! I am quite satisfied and binge read the entire story in a night haha. <<less

I like this story. The plot was developing in moderate speed but in the middle there was a little bit drag and a few fillers.

The MC on wheelchair but she is a strong girl and mask her weaknesses with arrogance and spicy mouth. She will easily forgive people who show sincere remorse.

The ML is a great man and know how to spoil the MC without limit.

... more>> I like the grandmother, she is a wise old lady. She can see the big picture and treat everyone fairly.

The MC has a little bit struggle when she know that her brother's hope to become her lover. She just afraid that the romantic relationship will not last longer than family love. Which is understandable because she is in ancient time, where the love is dispensable.

It was a nice story without too many schemes. A happy reading journey. <<less

I dropped this 3/4 of the way through and finally powered through and finished the rest. The start was strong, but the MC never really matured, so what was a bit cute and precocious for her to do when she was 10 became unbearable when she was older. It is what it says on the tin, re: total dogblood story. Those who should be punished are punished and those who shouldn't be punished but are standing in the splash zone also get punished. Very much a story where the only... more>> ones allowed to hold the brain cell are the main couple and the royal family members they're aligned with, and there's no greater crime than being an idiot (Aka, following your own self interests instead of falling in line to only support the main pairing and co.)

Also... they made the siblings thing so so weird. I get that it's like, The Bit, but ohhhh, my god, do they bend over backwards to indulge the in*est kink. Every time there's an opportunity to make it less weird they go "no, you're my sister AND the person I fantasize about, and nobody is allowed to forget it!" They both know early on that they're not related, but hammer in "adopted siblings are real siblings too" at Every Single Opportunity, and create new ones for any who might not get the message that just because they're not bio siblings does not make it not in*est, but YOU'RE the problem if you question them on it! Any who question if it is Maybe Weird are either divinely punished or "enlightened" that what REALLY matters is that these two crazy kids are happy!

He is hands down one of the most ridiculous ML's I've seen in a while, but at least they're Weirdos together??? Silver linings, I guess.

If you like this kind of story and don't want very complex characters, you'll like this. What you expect to happen will happen, it follows the standard formula without bucking conventions. I will say that the two love interests are a very good fit for each other, I just found both of them to be Ridiculous, so it took some of the shine off of their chemistry. It's very silly story, but I did find it to be a very fun read for the first part; it just felt like a slog to finish it. <<less

It might be just me, but it has a similar vibe to the danmei webnovel 'The Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish'. The low rating isn't because of the in*est part (ermmm you come in here, knowing the premise and basically being aware of the implications further down the plot all the while seeing the tags, you have no right to bit*h about it if you know this isn't your cup of tea but still tortured yourself to read it while giving it a shitty rating because it's not your pick... more>> of poison), but more so on the execution? First of all, the cut/time-skip is fine if the latter part still gives way to show the actual development bit by bit, how it gets stuck at certain awkward moral angles jutting right out at their faces (but then again I feel like the main character pairing have no compunctions for these lol), and how certain developments allow the blood to slick over the path to their shared pseudo-degeneration (because, you know, even if people aren't related by blood, they're still technically siblings by virtue if reared so since they were young). So the satisfying development was cut out, and we immediately get thrown to the part where they're both sticky and (un) subtly all over each other. That may be others' cup of tea who want to cut to the chase though, so you do you (that's just not my thing). This is a lesser complaint, since it technically has an in-story explanation behind it, but Yu Xiang's ridiculous luck at all points just made it boring to watch, seeing her win again, and again, and again, curb-stomping anybody who dares to cross her (though most of them deserve it, it does get old real fast since you just know that she'll get what she wants in the end and it's Heaven's Luck aiding her anyway). It dragged at some points but it's not too terribad, but it just felt... lackluster to me, even if some of the sticky parts were written adequately, so it's lower than the average since I feel less than lukewarm to it, oof. <<less
