Pros :

Mature ML who treats MC extremely well. ML and MC have one of the best relationship IMO. They complement eachother. Whenever they have a disagreement, ML will calmly discuss w MC. (We stan realtionships w good communication). The MC is lively and I'm living for him clowning himself. The MC has an affinity w awkward situations.

The enjoyment from reading this is through the roof. It relieved my burnout. The first half of the chapters are sooo funny. I enjoy each and every single chapter.

It's a light kinda slice of... more>> life story but it's not boring at all. There isn't much drama, only like for the last 10 chapters.

Cons :

The side characters and villains aren't well developed. I'm used to it but tired of it. Overall, it's a fresh read and I love it very much. <<less

I am glad that I chose this novels out of my 'waiting to read' list in my depressed days.

Well-built structure, with 'strongly highlighted' two protagonists and no overly dramatic scenes at all, make this novel undeniably one of the 'best' among the danmeis.

Tho it is 'slice-of-life', it's not boring at all from the start to the end and I really thank alot translators for bringing this amazing novel to us.

I strongly recommend you this novel y'all!

I enjoyed so much reading this. Every chapter is really fun. Unlike some other novels that will give you fluctuating moods while reading them, this one is all soft and fun with enough feels that will make you teary. Just enough emotion to invest while reading this so I really liked it even if I haven't read all the chapters. (Still waiting for updates)

I really love Changyi. Where do we get a Changyi in our life?

Ting's growth depicted in the novel is naturally flowing as the chapters go by.... more>> Not forced and no sudden conflict just to make that character development happen.

In short, it's really a good read. One of the best heartwarming genre novel.

So far very good! Much much better than I expected. Translation is well done too!

Only bémol so far, around ch.75 to 80, the part when Ting went himself to the company impromptu shareholders meeting, he suddenly had capacity as if he'd been an special agent in an action movie! So unbelievably resolved all obstacles! Hahaha!

Update: Finally reading completed as novel's translation has just completed as well. The extras are not interesting in my opinion. Recommended.

wow I don't usually comment, but this novel is wonderful I need to give my opinion about it. I just loved their relationship dynamics, they have dialogue when they encounter a problem in their relationship, I can only say that they are very cute, especially the MC he can seem a little immature at times but when he realizes his mistake he is honest about it, ML is mature stable and respects MC as his equal in relationship despite of the age difference between them, he is patient with the... more>> MC and listens to his problems and tries to help find a solution for that.I really envy a relationship like theirs it's very healthy and comforting, of course they also had conflicts but they quickly resolved it by chatting without too many problems.

About their families, I found it very interesting that ML's father went to a psychiatrist to be able to understand his son, ML's mother didn't have many problems accepting him either.I would like to know more about ML's ex-wife she seems to be a good person, I hope to have an extra of her....

Now about MC's family, I found him a bit impulsive as he came out of the closet to his family and of course I understand he was young and things like that happen I found MC's father particularly tragic, of course he could try to understand his son but neither of them could have a proper conversation on this subject. MC's mother is good she didn't participate in his growth and also didn't interfere in MC's life she accepted him more quickly too.I didn't like the way MC's stepmother treated him she was really gross sometimes

MC's brother was the one I found most miserable in the family, of course he wasn't to blame for what happened I liked him, although he's a bit s*upid in the end but I hope he has a good ending.

Last and least the ex boyfriend of MC he was ridiculous despite so many years together he cheated on the MC and wanted to come back after that I really think he's a hypocrite. If I was an MC I would also break up with him, as the MC said he loved his ex boyfriend but he loved himself more and he wouldn't be in a relationship that wouldn't end well. He had to be very strong to end a 17 year relationship like this and I totally support his decision it would be ridiculous to continue in a relationship without mutual respect.

To end my comment I wanted to say that I really admire MC I don't know if I could be okay after all this happened to me, and ML was an important role that helped MC change his view and to mature, it was a fate-style coincidence that brought them together to be happy. In short it was a wonderful story with a smooth rhythm and a very cute healthy relationship.

To finish I would like to say that their puppy is really cute even though he appears little in the story hahaha (´ε｀), well that's it if you read all this hope you can read this wonderful story. (~￣³￣) ~ <<less

This novel is soooo good. I love the characters, the main couple was especially well developed that I just can't help but cheer for them. It's also making me want to buy a Pelikan Souveran. :D

Most of me finds this story absolutely delightful. Spirited MC and reserved ML make for a couple you root for: cute, cute, cute (but also spicy!!) ! I'd say the thing that bothers me is that this author tried to do way too much and the story became muddied. Almost like different authors wrote different parts of this novel. But it's a small complaint- on the whole, this is the kind of couple I really enjoy reading about. Definitely recommend for the relationship aspect of the story!

Brilliant! I thought this would be boring cause the MC sounds spoiled and the ML sounds ice at first. I didn't know it would be this goodI usually read fast wear novels so I only gave this a try saying I'll read 2 chapters at most only but boy I was wrong I can't stop reading. Every end of each chapter make go bwahahahahha! I freaking love this❤️

(should be 5 stars idk where the stars went)

I loved this. I didn't expect the story to develop the way it did. Upon reading the summary, I thought it'd be some cute social media dating romance between a professor and his student but this story gave more than that. It gave love and growth, showing how the two characters helped each other and fell in love. The romance is sweet and thoughtful. ML is one of THE best love interests I've had the pleasure of reading. MC says... more>> he has a bad temper but ML understands him, dotes on him, helps him grow. He's not just his lover, he's MC's life partner. In the case of MC, his character development is really one of the best. He starts off reckless like a youth but he grows up through various events in his life and through discussions with the professor. The way the author wrote their discussions is just... so good and I loved this story so much that I ended up mtling the rest of the story. <<less

Cute novel! I MTL'd the rest, which was pretty easy/simple to understand. ML and MC have a 13 (?) year age difference, ML is a teacher and MC is his student.

At first, the MC is really bratty and immature while the ML is super good at dealing with the MC's tantrums. Sometimes the MC's childishness was tough to read, BUT. They both balance each other well, and with ML's patience, they maintain a good relationship. Throughout the novel, MC learns from ML's maturity, while the ML learns how to enjoy... more>> life again.

Super cute moments:

The two have a misunderstanding about cohabitating, and the mature ML realizes that he really wants the MC to live with him, despite the complications it would bring.

They adopt a dog and then go to classes together to train the dog.

When they lived countries apart, they called each other almost daily. At one point, the ML asked what MC wanted to eat and surprised the MC by ordering him food and having it delivered (Despite living countries apart! Super cute uwu)

The MC goes through ML's browsing history and finds that the ML researched things like "how to handle dating a 24-year-old", what to do with an angry father in law, marriage stuff, recipes, etc. That was cute because you see that ML doesn't naturally have the ability to handle situations, he also needs help from google (baidu? IDk the setting is in Germany) sometimes :)

I don't typically read novels with teacher-student relationships, it's not really my cup of tea. But this novel was good, good enough for me to MTL the rest. 5/5. <<less
