the part where she got a caller who wanted to know whether she could go back to an ordinary romantic life after she had been someone's mistress for a couple years. I mean, it's fine if you don't like it and wouldn't do it yourself. But why was MC allowed to act high and mighty about her morals and act like the caller "already knew the answer" and had ruined her own romantic life or something? I would also find it somewhat difficult based on my own morals, to be someone's mistress knowing that they have a wife at home. And yeah I'd hate to be the wife in that case. But isn't the one in the wrong here the MAN? Do you not think that if she had refused, there would still be another mistress regardless, another woman in that position? So honestly, if that's her choice, that's her choice. She made a lot of money in the process and all she really wanted was some encouragement or maybe a few words like "don't worry, you'll be fine." Because it's really nobody's business except her own, and that man and his wife's business. So I was skeptical about the author's annoying judgmental behavior, being that it's the 21st century and if you can get your coin like that, then who tf am I to judge you?

Anyway, feels like author would probably hate OnlyFans and she would definitely have a lot to say about women needing self-respect and to honor their bodies or something instead of wearing what they want. This aspect really dropped the standard of this book for me. <<less

I'm more of the "leave bad reviews to save potential readers pain" type of commenter, but I felt in the mood to reread this novel recently and it's as good as I remember. I really cannot recommend this one enough. It's a slow, naturalistic development. Not necessarily just romantic, but both characters gradually growing and maturing as people and in their relationship.

What can I say. There is a quiet warmth to this novel. It's a nice thing to read on a rainy day. Low stress, philosophical about life, just pleasant.... more>> It's not really ground breaking, but it's a quiet, pleasant read that is worthy of your time. <<less

This is a novel about a fluffy couple and a great life after rebirth. However, it’s not all it has. This book has it own emotions. It is true that the love between the main characters is the center of the story, but there are a lot of more than that. As a Chinese, I can say that the book talks about the situation of a woman in the modern society in China. Family forcing their daughter to marry and have child, or their criticism on single mother are... more>> all engraved in Asian culture. As a part of them, I can only sympathize with Yu Dong and Ren XinXin.

Furthermore, the love between the main characters are really close to the truth. They teach people how to protect an long lasting relationship in a world where everything is moving fast.

The situation of An An and ML is also very true. Nobody are like the overbearing CEO of those marisues, so is our Xia Jeng. It’s not like he doesn’t want to cut off ties with his ex girlfriend, but there relation is too complicated to just end with one sentence. The antagonist in the story is not a btch. She just can get over those feelings and situation like everyone else. So when I was reading, I did not dislike her, in contrary, I sympathize her.

In addition, there is so many quotes and inspiration in the novel. They really warmed my heart when I was reading.

Single dogs beware, this is supreme-grade dog food.

The MC is funny and direct, but sometimes she also acts rotten spoiled and not her mental age. The ML is a robot, doing anything to pamper the MC. They are very sweet, but it becomes unrealistic.

The love story lacks depth, it ends rushed and with many avenues left unfinished (reincarnation, family matters, the dubbing business, her friends,...)

The main reason I finished this is her job as radio host. This is where the story shines. She discusses dark themes in a funny... more>> way, giving life advice and setting the mood.

In the end I rate this 4*. It is written well, funny and the radio story is awesome. But I would have liked it more if the MC would have to personally deal with the mental issues from her past life - not loved by her family, thinking she is not good enough. Instead those get transported onto others whereas she just gets dropped an A+ husband who loves her from day one. She doesn't have to fight for anything. Seriously I just love this novel so much!

As we all know the basically stereotype of jerkMjerk and s*upid FL, the jealousy, misunderstandings, love triangles. Well, nothing of this happens like this.

Truthfully at the beginning I thought it was a very unreal situation, but as the story goes on we learn about their feelings, circumstances and suffering. It's the kind of history that I find extremely realistic, which surprised me.

... more>> The side characters all have their own 'selves', they're just a background wall for the main couple shine. A non-toxic novel.

In the chapters a caught myself laughing and 3 seconds later crying, not because the novel is full of drama, but the histories the autor autor created, I sincerely like this novel, hope you enjoy as well. <<less

One of the best rebirth stories I've ever read and one of the very rare stories where I love the main characters to the core and also their friends.

This is so good aaaaaaaa

It's sweet and full of fluff, The characters are very realistic, they experience many types of emotions and they make mistakes. The flow of the story is good.

There are a lot of times when I felt like tearing up due to some of the mc's callers (she works as a radio host) and their problems and how the MC helped them.

Would recommend to anyone really and I will re-read again in the nearby future.

Short read, but this just enabled me to binge everything in one night. I would definitely put this on my reread list for when I am craving a sweet and straightforward romance.

What sets this modern rebirth romance apart from other webnovels:

    • FL seeks to rewrite her past where she learns from her mistakes and proactively takes steps toward a life that she is happy with. She does not depend on her knowledge of future events to further her agenda. She instead carries her wisdom and judgement into paving a new career path that brings her fulfillment.
    • She slowly changes herself from being a cold and lonely corporate worker in the past life to a capable friend and compassionate human.

      Ex. She speaks up at one of her best friend's engagement party to save her from a falling down a path of ab*se, cheating and depression and offers continuous support with her friend's decision. She also talks a boy out of committing su*cide on top of a building and influences him to put his talents to good use (he has very dark and morbid dreams that affect his thoughts and FL points him towards turning his stories to movie scripts). There are definitely more examples when she motivates multiple people and offer actual useful advice on her midnight radio talk show.

    • The pace of the romance is slow but built upon with a strong foundation that reminds us all what good fluff an slice of life looks like.

      They start living in separate bedrooms and don't see each other often bc of work scheduling. But slowly, FL grows used to the comfort of having the other person around and ML take interest in her personal life. Even when they finally do the deed, their deep feelings are well established.

    • All of the relationship issues and misunderstandings between ML and FL are dealt with tactfully and realistically. Even the ML's ex-girlfriend is given enough of a backstory to portray her as more than just a 2D villain. Yes she is a jealous woman, but given how her relationship with ML ended so abruptly, her actions are justified and ML's response/actions are rational and suit his character.

I just gotta say the selling point of this story for me was the mc's personality. She's your ideal tough woman who can deal with the problems her way and moves others. I feel like I've also lowkey became her radio fan throughout the story, I just love listening (reading??) the parts of her at the dj station lol.

The rest of the cast are also realistic characters. The relationships between them are very natural. I also love the mc's girls friend group and how they deal with situations.

Gaaaaah! So much fluff in this novel! ? Way way fluffy. I enjoyed every chapters! I love the developments of MC and ML. I love XiaoYue! I hope we get a novel for her and Qin! ? This is a must read for someone who wanted something fast, fluffy and refreshing!

I've read this book a few times now and it's just a nice break from the world.

Its fluffy and sweet and a little unpredictable.

Most of it focuses on the relationship between the MC and ML but there a few side stories. And some of them just tug on your heart a little. The Mr. Strongs and the Ms. Beauties make the novel more complete.

Oh it's an HE if that wasn't clear. There's also only 1% angst.

Fuwa Fuwa! I looove the story. It was all sweet and fluffy but also heart-warming. Really good for a change of pace or just for something to make you light-hearted and touched.

Worth to read!

Not your usual rebirth story. At first I don't like the MC character... Nut at the end I accepted her character. You'll find character development. If you want to find face slapping, my suggestion is dont read this because you won't find any.

I dont think I find climax (conflict) in this story. But I love how the author portrayed the characters...

The give me the most impact in this novel is the moral teachings. Those moral teaching are decorated with dogfood and comedic situation of couples or future couples. Yes it is a little cliche in some romance part, but not in most comedic or moral supports moment

. The way this novel gave moral teaching or way to keep relationship everlasting is realtively general but instead of feeling boredom, I i felt like it should appear more. Instead of cliche it gave me general memorable emotion with switch where you might filled with laughter in current chapter and nostalgic in the next.

Thought this novel ending felt like it could be made into more than one hundred chapters, but it kinda make me feel down just seeing it only last for 61 chapter with few last chapter as extras on other characters development (thought not satisfying either, what I meant is it really really feels like it could support another thirty chapters at least even more if there are not so much time skips).

For me this novel lighten my soul yet also gave my soul sense of hunger (don't wonder your mind around, I just want more chapter ?). I havent sense this feeling other than "still, wait for me", well the only thing I felt missing is the situation where it supposed to be sad, it could be sad, but somehow it would become lively again in the next paragraph, more of a lively novel. If you don't like novel with depressing or some massive, impactful, heartbreaking moment, this is a really good novel to read. This is the only contemporary romance novel I read until the end without losing patience or feeling irritated with any of the characters. Both female and male lead have lovable characters. So refreshing.

I recommend this to all who are looking for a light novel (no intense drama and mu*der) but with story and characters that have more substance than the rest.

Had enough of angst and melodrama? Well, you're in the right book! This one is filled with fluff for every chapter, contains humor, sound life advice, and lighthearted romance. There's barely any angst at all. Besides, I really like the personality of the protagonist, Yu Dong. It's very refreshing how she is very confident (cough, thick-faced, cough), tough and blunt. She's a very amusing character to read. Meanwhile, our male lead is a smart, kind, and awkward surgeon. The two of them together makes a perfect match! &Lt;3

i love it very very much, how this novel is light romance without greentea bi*ch or white lotus ??? I hope I will be lucky to meet my another half in this life time. This novel just such a pure romance and friendship

i recommended it for u, if u search romance and some relaxaxing read for the busy day and little time to read
